  Just downloaded to our shop pre-launch. Customer service is phenominal as we are setting up and learning- quick, efficient, available at any time, and real service from real support agents that know the application. Free starter plan allows us to launch and gives us time to analyze customer return behavior and volume before upgrading to the plan that will work best for us post-launch. Not many applications offer this, so I am extremely pleased. Seems to be set up to seamlessly support shops from launch to growth and scaling stages with reasonable subscription pricing beyond the free starter plan.

  DONT USE THIS APP, ITS SCAM and aLEAST SUPPORTING CUSTOMER SUPPORT! I do not have any active subscription, and I already cancelled the service and deleted the app completely. Despite this, I am still being charged, which is unacceptable.   UPDATE: Every single day there is a new issue, please don't waste your time on this portal, its an absolute SCAM! All the reviews must be fake, look at the 1 stars for real reviews. Worst return portal we’ve used. Would not recommend. The system charges customers for a return label per item and does not allow multiple items to be returned under one label, which creates unnecessary friction. It also does not allow us to include customer information on labels, which complicates processing on our end. The biggest issue was reliability. Over several days, customers were purchasing return labels that consistently generated errors. During this time, we were advised it was being worked on, but there was no immediate resolution. This resulted in a high volume of frustrated customers contacting us, and our team having to manually create return labels, explain the issue, and manage the fallout. For a tool that is meant to streamline returns, it created significant extra workload and a poor customer experience, with a real risk of losing customer trust.

  We decided to try this app because of its high rating, but unfortunately the service does not match the number of stars at all. In fact, it makes me question whether those ratings are genuine. Customer support is unreliable. They respond whenever they feel like it—if they respond at all—and the issues are rarely solved properly. Yes, the app looks nice, but in real use you will constantly run into problems. Fixing those problems takes far too long, which costs us money and frustrates our customers. I strongly do not recommend this app. It will waste your time and likely lead to negative feedback from your own customers.

  This apps reviews cannot be genuine. The support is non existent something as simple as help setting up a send cloud account and a Evri integration was not helped and they actually send my ChatGPT replies directly form ChatGPT.. The support is no existent they sell you a service then offer 0 help to get it live. We had set the app up ready to go, asked for help multiple times, were charged x2 monthly retainers without even being able to push the app live. There's plenty of better apps with much better customer support and communication. Avoid this one.

  Edited 1/23/26 - We have been long time users of this app, but will be looking for a change. Support has gone downhill. Documentation is limited at best. Features change without notice despite claims that notifications were sent to the admin. It functions fine for the most part and provides a reasonably good customer experience, but when problems or questions do come up, it has become unbearable. Still in the final setup phases of this app, but so far fairly happen. I did find that it doesn't integrate perfectly with UPS for automation (auto-approval of requests), but otherwise the customer interface is great and the admin interface is straightforward. The support chat is pretty quick and helpful as well. Looking forward to getting fully up and running. Added to this, while we run into issues every now and then, the Return Prime CS team is always very quick to address and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We also no longer utilize UPS and would love to see Return Prime work with FedEx for our return labels so we will be keeping the rating at 4 stars at least until that is available.

  How does this app have such high ratings except if they are fake? I've been struggling with it for over year with glitches and especially during the busiest time of year it completely failed. Instead of making the return process easier and hands free, I have been tripling my effort dealing with angry customers that never receive their automated communications and assume they are being ignored. Return App only kept saying they were all sent. This wasn't once or twice, this was with dozens of customers. It has also changed my settings without any notice or authorization several times. I have reached out to support +10 times and they only fix it temporarily while pretending there was never an issue to begin with. Never any price break on days/weeks that it doesn't work, only upselling a higher plan anytime I open the app. Complete waste of time and money.

  After testing four different return and exchange apps for Shopify - Redo, Exchange It, Rich Returns, and Return Prime - I can confidently say there was a clear standout: Return Prime. I started with Redo, which had been recommended by a few merchants in an eCommerce coaching group. However, several people mentioned ongoing issues with how refunds and fees were being calculated on the backend, and that support was painfully slow. I also found their pricing to be on the higher side. Next up was Rich Returns, which looked promising at first. Unfortunately, after some customisation and work on installing and customising this app, I found the mobile UX was a deal breaker - it hid product thumbnails so you had to scroll to the right (without any obvious indication that this was what you needed to do) during exchanges, making the experience confusing for customers. Exchange It had its merits too: it’s simple, affordable, and would probably work fine for smaller operations. But it was far too manual for what we needed. By the time I’d installed and customised all four apps, I had a good understanding of what was out there - and Return Prime was easily the winner. Here’s why: Exceptional support: Priyanka, who handled our onboarding, was outstanding. She not only responded quickly but also coordinated with their dev team to handle all of our customisation requests - from brand styling to UX tweaks. I was genuinely impressed by how much flexibility the app offers and how wiling they were to accommodate my changes.   Constant issues with this app. Customers are unable to receive return labels via the return prime portal. When I send the error code to their customer support team, they keep giving incorrect information as to why the labels are not being delivered. They blame it on the shopify apollo graph ql integration that is built into shopify plus stating that its a user permission issue when it is not the case. All-in-all, the support team and app capabilities has downgraded. They had a team member named Shubaum who was very helpful but now there seems to be a leadership issue getting their support team to assist their customers. And don't get me started on the functionality of their return/exchange portal for customers. Customers have to process each item individually vs just selecting multiple items and processing. It's been an issue with RP for a while now and they keep stating its fixed but it's not. Shipstation is about to launch a return/exchange portal that is included in the shipstation subscription and as soon as that goes live we'll be migrating our services to that platform because the return prime team has not been helpful.

  First day I spent 6 hours trying to set up this app for my business model. I contacted support and they just kept saying "we are here to help", but didn't explain properly what I had to do, only half words. There's not a single tutorial video on the whole youtube or the app, the FAQ section has outdated tutorial with functions that have changed. Then I booked their expert support where you can have a meeting with them, share your screen and they can explain, I spent 12 minutes waiting in the meeting room and nobody has showed up. Worst experience ever since running my Shopify.

  We’ve used Return Prime since 2023 and initially appreciated being an early supporter during its development. However, the recent experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. Despite multiple written requests to pause or resolve our plan while we finalised negotiations, our account continued to be charged significant overages in two consecutive months. This occurred knowingly, even after we highlighted the issue several times. The charges continued while we were being pushed toward higher-tier plans, effectively locking us in during active discussions. While the team eventually introduced email notifications and offered credits as a gesture, this only happened after overage charges had already been applied. It felt like a reactive fix to an unfair billing process rather than a proactive merchant-first approach. Other Shopify apps we work with were far more cooperative and paused billing or issued credits immediately during similar plan misalignments. The lack of transparency, refusal to refund overages, and rigid billing approach even after admitting communication shortcomings reflect poorly on the app’s service. This is especially disappointing given our long-term loyalty and contributions toward product development and feedback. Merchants considering this app should review the usage-based pricing model carefully. What appears competitive upfront can become unexpectedly expensive, and resolving billing disputes may not be as straightforward as you’d expect from an app on the shopify platform. I have been with shopify for over a decade and never had such a bad customer experience.

  This app has been a disaster for Duradero. The day we turned on automation for returns and exchanges it retroactively refunded all exchanges for the previous 30 days totaling over $20,000. Over $11,000 was directly deducted from our account in one day before we discovered it and turned it off.. We thought it was theft but it was bad programming. It was difficult to contact them, they are based in India and it took over 48 hours to get a response. After 5 weeks of back and forth they did issue us a $3500 credit in the Shopify store. This issue happened to coincide with an acquisition of their company so this really felt like they swept us under the rug and stalled as long as possible for resolution. They claim this was some error on our part but how could you possibly have an app that could be programmed to issue retroactive refunds on exchanges??? This was a nightmare and I would recommend NOT using this app. We used LOOP before, no issues. We now use REDO and would recommend either of those options. REDO is a better value by far and the service level and the team there are tremendous.

  I highly recommend giving this app a spin if you are looking for a product return solution! It works great out of the box and has many integrations to choose from. We asked them to add an integration they didn't have listed and their team and ours were able to create a new one very quickly and it works amazingly well.   I recently migrated from WooCommerce to Shopify and have been searching for a return exchange portal that suits my businesses' returns policy. My key priority was to have it as flexible as possible for my customers to ensure that they have a smooth shopping experience (especially being able to exchange for OTHER products not just variants). I tested about 20 other apps via the Shopify App Store and all were either really limited in features or did not have the right support. I'm really happy to have come across Return Prime as their customer service is also top-notch. The reply to all my queries instantly and I know my customers will appreciate this portal. There are so many features you can customise on this to suit your store! Highly recommend to any ecommerce store who wants to give their customers choice in order to minimise refunds to original payment method.

  I have installed the app in order to test its features while selecting a return service for my customers. Then, already during the setup guide, the app automatically initiated a customer support chat (I wasn't even asked if I even wanted to talk to anyone yet, I literally just started looking into their app), then followed by sending me an email requesting store access, another email asking to continue the support chat, and then even spamming my phone. After all of that I didn't want to have anything to do with this app anymore, and simply uninstalled it. Seriously, don't push so much, it felt extremely intrusive :/

  I had high hopes because Return Prime promises a lot, and it priced well (although you need the most expensive plan to enable the features I wanted). This app is not developed to work well with the U.S. Postal Service, especially if you need to automate with tracking of returns. Other than USPS itself, none of the logistics carriers enabled can link to USPS tracking. Getting Return Priem to connect to my USPS business account (that I had to create) took days of communication back and forth with USPS. At this point, I feel like I am a beta tester for Return Prime. On the plus side, the customer service is very helpful. On the downside, you'll be talking to them almost every day. The app will work briefly, and then start having errors again. Either it can't generate labels, it can't collect payment from customers for exchanges or tracking of returns stops working. Based on the other reviews, it seems to work well for some people, but it was almost unusable for me with USPS.

Erst funktionierte die Anbindung von DHL Deutschland nicht und dachte schon aha, deshalb nur englische Bewertungen... ABER: Ich wurde danach Zeuge eines so hervorragendenen Kundensupport wie ich ihn in den letzten 10 Jahren nicht mehr erlebt habe. Lösung durch hohes Engagement des Software Entwickler schnell gefunden. Funktioniert jetzt einwandfrei. Das macht mich zuversichtlich auch wenn mal wieder etwas hakt eine schnelle Problemlösung zu erreichen. Toller Funktionsumfang der vielleicht noch die eine oder andere Retoure abwenden kann.

Imagine our surprise when, come February, we discovered that this feature had mysteriously been activated without our consent. Naturally, we were taken aback. We reached out to their customer support, expecting swift resolution and an acknowledgment of their error. Instead, we were met with denial after denial, as they vehemently refuted any wrongdoing on their part. Despite our unwavering certainty, we reluctantly accepted their stance. However, this unsettling scenario repeated itself like clockwork in March, and once again today, leaving us feeling utterly exasperated and betrayed. Each time, we were met with the same denials and dismissals, further eroding any semblance of trust we might have had in this company. In conclusion, while their product may have its merits, the company's apparent disregard for transparency and integrity is deeply concerning. Proceed with caution when considering their services, and be vigilant against any unauthorized changes or charges to your account. Trust, once lost, is not easily regained, and this company has left us wary and disillusioned.

  We have been using it for Return Prime for about two years and it is almost absolutely excellent.  To start with the good stuff - it's quick to setup, the backend layout is good, the notifications are good also.  Support is also generally responsive and helpful.   The only trouble we have found is when actually using return prime in practice to actually monitor returns all the way through the returns process.  It's fine if one person is monitoring and inspecting returns. Where it becomes more awkward is where inspection happens within a team i.e. handled by a different department or person.  If that is the case there is no way to print a record that actually travels with the item to be inspected with a check box for inspection.  For each return all the information is listed on the 'approved' tab screen ...along with 'refund', 'archive' 'reject' & 'delete'   ...but no 'print'.  This means that a separate return record needs to be manually created to travel with the item - we manually write out all the information onto a card for the return, and that card travels with the item to inspection.   So then it almost becomes easier to write out the same card when the customer initially emails - by pointing them to return prime is just an additional stage for them and us    ...and at that point return prime becomes obsolete!    I suspect this would be really easy for Return Prime to sort out though - it's a small, nuanced change, but one that makes it a lot more usable when actually using it to track returns.  The rest of the app is so good it's a great shame.

  I installed the app and started chatting with customer service via chat. they noticed I had just signed up and reviewed my dashboard.   We've been using this app for quite some time now, and and while some things were a little strange and clunky at first, a LOT of improvements have been made and new features added during that time. The ability to process a single refund for multiple items being returned is huge, and made things a lot easier for us and our customers. Support is always fast to respond (often instant) and very helpful, and they have implemented features that we've been asking for. We also recently updated out site using a new theme, and our developer had no trouble customizing the app's text and buttons to match the style of or new site, so that's another plus.   Return Prime customer service rep "Wonder" gave me absolutely incredible customer service. She needs a raise or one hell of a bonus. She helped me step-by-step make sure this app was up and running. I expected to get a bot giving me articles to read, but I was immediately linked to a real person making my set up extremely efficient by an expert. I would have been in tears without their help. So happy to have this set up, as the practice run looked so simple and user friendly for customers. My main goal was to have an app that provided shipping labels immediately to customers, and I am able to do this from the free plan. I am motivated to stay with this company when I am ready to upgrade plans bc I couldn't imagine better customer service elsewhere.

  I had a great customer service call with Shubham. I had been using the app for a year but not to it's full potential so I highly recommend doing a call with their call center. He taught me how to automate more processes to save my warehouse's team time and efficiencies. Also how to set up more parameters around what products can be returned or exchanged.   We have been using Return Prime for a few days now and based on the initial usage, the app is providing everything that it has promised. It has helped a lot to automate our returns/exchange processes. We need to use it for a few months to get to a stage where we can list down a detailed pros/cons. But up until now, it has been really beneficial for us to automate our processes. Finally a note to our contacts in Return Prime: Ms. Greeva and Mr. Shubham. They have been really helpful and supportive regarding the onboarding and the margin discussions.   We are very happy with both this app, as well as the service. On the app side, the developers are keen on absorbing adjustments and improvements their customers want, which ends up saving a little time here, a little time there. The app does a pretty good job automating everything, which is super helpful - and they continue to improve upon the platform in this regard. On the service side, they have always been happy to help when we had questions, are usually quite quick to respond, and are more hands-on than many larger developers. They also don't just wait for you to contact them with your needs, but rather, reach out to probe what your needs might be. These guys know that it takes effort and focus to build a successful product, and they have done exactly that.
