I'd say this is maybe 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up. This app has a TON of features, and you can create some pretty amazing things. The support team, while not always immediately available via the chat feature (they're somewhere in Eastern Europe, I'd guess?), will always get back to you and are friendly. And trust me, you will need support, since the they've basically tried to squeeze full desktop editing/compositing software (including a multi layer video timeline) into a Shopify app, and have invented a slew of not-particularly-intuitive interface elements for a user to work with. Or try and work with. Also, it's kind of buggy. In my experience, you can create basically whatever you can imagine, but it takes 2-3x as long as you might think since you have to dig around so much to find what you want, or check the manual or contact help desk.

I opened a Shopify shop within two weeks and tried out a few extensions, including the Slider Revolution app to create dynamic banners with animations. This extension is almost perfect. This app reminds me a little of the software Camtasia for creating presentations. It's unbelievable what you can achieve with this in a short space of time. This APP is fabulous. I was able to create an Angel Card reading on my site! I didn't think it was possible but this Slider has been fabulous. I would love to see the ability to randomize the slides and Add a couple of images on a slide so that when you click one image it will fade to the next. I am so grateful for this App. Thank you

I used both Shopify and WordPress version of Slider Revolution app***Price:$7 a month for 1 slider. That's $84 a year for 1 slider. Too expensive. The WordPress plugin is excellent. $59 for unlimited sliders and one-time payment. ***Option:Shopify version. It's difficult to put sliders anywhere in pages and liquid templates. WordPress version. It's very easy to put sliders anywhere on page and post by "shortcode". Just copy and paste the shortcode and sliders will appear exactly where I want. ***AvailabilityMost Shopify themes already included sliders option. Buying an extra slider app is optional unless slider app has something unique. ***OverallThis app needs a lot of work to improve. I will reinstall when this app meets or exceed my expectations.

I love the Wordpress version. This is not that. I paid $18 for the ability to import a slider. Instead of importing my slider ZIP, it broke the entire slide editing interface, rending the whole plugin useless. I hope someone combines the JQuery version of Revolution Slider and the jQuery Revolution Slider editor correctly with a Shopify admin interface. Someone could make some serious money with a functioning Shopify Revolution Slider app.

I use Rev Slider for Wordpress and now for Shopify. This is the best slider if have every found with regard to creative ability. It has an abundance of functionality. It can be used as a basic slider or a highly interactive and animated slider. (The more animation and special effects used, the more processor intensive) I was SO happy to see this finally show up for Shopify. And i have received attentive caring support from the developers. They just moved the hosting to Amazon Web Services to improve performance,,, and that is great news! Thx :-)

I like this app on wordpress but the shopify version the most buggy app i've ever tried and shouldn't have been released in this state Edit: So your "server updates" locks up my site for several days without any warning? One of the most disappointing apps i've met in Shopify. I loved that product for Wordpress, but I must say it's the worst app I have seen for Shopify. I'm emailing the support group for more than 2 months (!!) and they still can't figure out how to make the banner responsive, this is after month that took them to embed the slider itself to my SHELLA theme. Oh, and of-curse I am paying them full price all that time. So disappointed...
