I had been putting off setting up subscriptions because every subscription system I’ve used in the past felt unnecessarily complicated. Seal was the complete opposite. Setup was incredibly simple, straightforward, and intuitive. I selected my products, configured the options I wanted, and everything appeared beautifully on my product pages with very little effort. I had the entire system up and running far faster than I expected. This is exactly how a Shopify app should work! Powerful without making the merchant fight with it. Highly recommended!

The free tier doesn't allow you to pick a specific product, so that would mean every product in your shop would have a subscription. When i tried to change to the next tier, you can't find the payment tier plans. The only way was to try and upgrade to a legend tier which was $89 a year. I hadn't even created a rule and they want me to pay money, so much for free and free trial. No tanks.

Highly recommend this app! Our store has used Seal for three years. It's a powerful and affordable app for managing our subscription program. It is feature-rich, which may overwhelm some users who are more tech-averse, but we love its customizability. They develop new features and make small improvements at a slow but steady pace. This is not a knock – the product is great as-is and I appreciate the steady and methodical approach to development. I think we have had two issues that required support over our three years, and it has been reasonably prompt and very helpful each time. It's quite affordable, the pricing is fair with lots of tiers based on features. The pricing is especially attractive compared to some other apps' pricing models that involve taking a cut of sales, which is insane, but that's another story. Love Seal!

Update May 2026. Failed payments are showing up more often. Working with the support team to figure out if it's a configuration or app issue. 5 Star rating still holding at the moment but payment is a core function so this one is important. App has many great features across all plans. Tech support is responsive and effective in addressing issues as they arise. I've used Seal for years across multiple Shopify stores. It's by far the biggest bang for your buck. We had been using other popular subscriptions apps but they get extremely expensive when you have high volume. I can have Seal up and running in 30 minutes and it saves tons of money. We also use Bundler by the same company, it integrates directly so customers can build bundles with subscriptions. Highly recommended.
