I subscribed to the €9 plan and was very disappointed. The app provides almost no real value, just extra script bloat. You’re constantly pushed to upgrade to more expensive plans. After installing, I had problems with Google Merchant Center – newly added products stopped syncing. For me, this was a clear drawback and created more work than benefits. Not recommended!

It's very disappointing. Even though I selected the $59 plan during the trial period, not all features are unlocked, and I can't use these paid features. How am I supposed to know whether these features work or are suitable for me? In that case, I definitely won't make the payment after the trial ends, nor will I choose this app, and I certainly won't recommend it to others.

These guys' support as well is just as awesome as the functionality of the app itself. Recommend that you either go with the "Essential" or "Professional" plans (well worth it). If you are looking to increase your sales, this app is a must. P.S. If you are using something like the Vitals app for SEO, delete it! Install SEO Manager instead!

It used to be a good product with good support. Support has not answered after multiple emails for the same issue in the last month. I have tried multiple times to contact by 3 methods: 1. Sending a message in the app. 2. Send a message from the Shopify App page. 3. By emailing. I assume that either they are no longer supporting the product. I am going to start to compare other products with high ratings.

I tried to delete my review, but I was only allowed to edit it. So, a few features do not seem to integrate fully with the shopify platform. The JSON LD duplicates the data native to your theme but can't be customized. If you use that, be sure to delete or disable your themes native microdata/JSN LD. The theme I use doenst allow deleting it, it comes from an external script. That is a major bummer about shopify, so many scripts load from external sources and cant be minimized or stoped. If this app helped to minify codes and remove and reduce unused/ unneeded scripts and CSS as well, it would be great beyond words.

I had a rough start with this app because I added some other apps in the app store that ended up duplicating all my listings which affected my business poorly. It was however my fault. In the FAQs trouble shooting it has a list of apps that will do this with the SEO app and me being so smart...had more then one of those apps installed so I reached out, support was great responded within 24 hours and I was able to get my SEO health back and move back up in ranking and my organic traffic is coming back, and my ranking is getting better daily. App is easy to use, and add keywords to my website and I love that it has Google analytics added into it!

SEO Manager sets my SEO on autopilot! we have a store with 1000's of seasonal products and arent able to go into each product and individually edit the seo or image alt tags. Now with the use of SEO Manager we can set specific titles and descriptions for our products and set them accross all of our products with 1 click. It also redirects my broken links so i no longer have any, which would of took me weeks to manually process. This app is SO helpful and does exactly what it says! *2022 Update* SEO Manager recently updated to be OS 2.0 compliant and we are still satisfied with the app. The updated backend is a little different, but easy to adjust to. Note - you do need to enable the frontend app from within your Theme customizer. SEO Manager's features make it easy to adjust our meta details and make sure each page is optimized. The new, overall and per-page SEO score is a easy reference point for how well the site is optimized.

We are writing this review after waiting for 10 days for a response from technical support to an incident that happened to us when installing the application, which we do NOT recommend for shops with large catalogues (+10,000 products) because most of the functionalities do not work. Although this is not the responsibility of the author(s) of this application, they are responsible for not having responded to us in 10 days about what happened after installing the application. What happened is that now ALL pages show the same title, ALL products show the wrong title. We have reported this 10 days ago and also 3 days ago we opened a new ticket for them to tell us why this is happening. And... we are still waiting for them to fix it or for someone to tell us something. No news. We don't want to uninstall the app because we have been told that they are trying to solve the problems but the silence is really frustrating.

Be very careful setting this App up. If you do go and uninstall it, the app will remove all seo meta data from your website. You will need to contact support to fix it, it's almost like it deliberately compromises the SEO on the website once removed. This is pretty serious and not good for your store at all. Instead of seeing the title/description for example you will get this "snippets/SEOManager.liquid" was not rendered, the associated app was uninstalled" So even after uninstalling it all, this breaks the site. You have been warned, I would not recommend this app in regards to anything SEO related. Here is how I fixed it in case anyone wants the help without dealing with support. We used SEO Manager for increasing the SEO ranking for our store. It is a great tool and very easy to use, but so far, we did not see any improvement in the ranking (this is our third month using this app.). Also, after updating every page on our website, this app is not offering more, so I have a hard time justifying the monthly charge for basically nothing.

We had problems early on with this app. Venntov helped sort things out and offered to give us full use of the app for FREE for life if I would change my negative review. I took them up on their generous offer, modified my review, and went on to use the app for several more months. I felt this was a standup way for them to handle things. But now in all honesty I can no longer recommend this as a 5-star app. Recently the app developed another glitch where broken links were displaying search engines as the broken link paths (as if Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo were actual pages on my website). I contacted support but got no response. Frustrated, I threw in the towel, deleted SEO Manager, and have now moved on to the SMART SEO app {which looks to be a more effective SEO tool}. Paying money for an app that works properly, and produces good SEO results, makes more sense than hanging on to a free app that doesn't cut the mustard. That's why I'm now changing this to a 3-star review. P.S. I have to wonder how many other 5-star Venntov reviews were written for free use of their product. ---------------------------------------------------------- Reply to Rhian Beutler's comment below: After a long string of problems with SEO Manager back in August I was super frustrated with SEO Manager. As a result I posted a 1-star review. Shortly afterward I was contacted by josh Highland at Ventoov who seemed alarmed and concerned that I had experienced so many problems. Because I was dissatisfied he offered to give me the product for free for life. And in return I wrote a 5-star review. At the time the app was working and I appreciated the great service. Like I said, I spoke directly with Josh on the phone - and he sent me this message below by email on August 11 2020. ---------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for taking my call today. We have applied the 100% lifetime discount and sent the access request. UPDATED They promised me to full refund of my payments after uninstall the app. But 2 months passed already and replied them and never replied me back. Stay away they do not give any refund or keep their promise! ----------------------------------------- I have been using this app for 2 and a half months and all of my previous SEO works gone. I tried to contact the Support team by writing them maybe 4 times but never got any response. They only give e-mail support to which they never reply. I will open a chargeback with my credit card to this application because they are unresponsive and never give support to buyers as I can see for myself. Now I started to replace my previous works back one by one. I have lost my traffic and decreased my visitors due to this application. It does not worth it and My strong recommendation never to pay anything for this application. There are tons of alternatives even they are free. I hope now someone can see my message and contact me. I've been using this for nearly a month. I already had an established store with 150 products and several collections so going back through and making changes has taken some time. I'm now seeing results though. The most useful feature is the ability to rank for different keywords (tags on your products) within collections which is ace! Well worth following the tutorials and taking some time to get the most from the app. Recommended as long as you're willing to put the work in.

Updated- Customer service has been Amazing! Still waiting to see the improvement in rankings. We have optimized our meta titles and descriptions with our targeted keywords. We have been using the app for about a month and we have not seen an improvement in visibility or rankings, infact we have seen a considerable decline. We installed this app back in 2017 and uninstalled it for this exact reason. We were hoping we would have better results this time around but that has not been the case. I am changing to 1 star now. We have had this app for 2 years exactly. In the beginning it worked great. And also I knew less than what I know now. But support was very good. This past July I sent an email to support, never got an answer. Got busy with my business and that issue was unresolved. This week I had another problem and sent another email. No answer. So I came here to see other reviews. Sure enough, the latest reviews say the same thing about the bad (lacking) support. I am on my way to uninstall this and install another app, but wanted to share my experience with others, and give the company the opportunity to address this. Maybe they didn't receive my email? ---- Here is the original review: I initially gave the app a poor review because it took them a week to reply to my email and chat requests. Eventually they did reply and helped a lot and I do believe they did recognize the mistake. We praise them for that and for the app itself, which has been helping us A LOT!!!!!! Thanks, Rob! ADDED ON 12/13/17: I wanted to write a new review but apparently there is only opportunity for each shop. So here it goes: ROB IS THE BEST and SEO MANAGER too. Rob knows a ton and is very generous by sharing his knowledge, so our shop can improve. As for the SEO Manager, it is on point. When I got in trouble last week it was because I didn't watch the SEO recommendations that the app did. READ BEFORE INSTALLING I downloaded this app thinking it would assist with my SEO. To be honest if you are looking for something that just tells you the obvious then download it and waste your money but the reality is you could simply do what this does yourself at no cost. The big feature I thought I was getting was recommended key search terms but it turns out all it does is ask you to input the terms you want to use and then gives you a green light once you have typed this term into your description and title (pretty obvious to work this out yourself... its either in there or not.) Once I uninstalled as I could not see the value of $20USD a month I ran into the big issues. I subscribed to another SEO manager tool that does recomend terms and give ongoing assistance to improve rankings, this cost me $35AUD for 12 months (about $25USD). It was analysing my meta information and telling me I needed to update it due to it causing a lack of ranking in google. When i reviewed what it was telling me and cross refferenced this to what was in my shopify SEO sections I realised it was still trying to draw information from the SEO MANAGER App which was no longer existent or editable. After doing further research I worked out you actually have to also unistall the code that gets automatically put into your theme. This is never mentioned at any point on downloading or uninstalling which is incredibly annoying and inconvenient as I have gone about 3 weeks with incorrect meta data. Information given by the SEO MANAGER was simply, resore your code back to a version prior to installing. This is a great idea if you havent modified your code since installing the app which I have done. I have now had to get Shopify support involved who are trying to rectify the situation. Hopefully this will be fixed shortly. Again, this is a perfect app if you want to pay good money for no return. UPDATE RESPONSE TO RHIAN BEUTLER, CEO Thank you for your response but I think it is important to clarify some of the false information you have presented. Due to the unprofessional nature of providing this false information, if it were possible to give you less than 1 star you would be receiving a sub-zero rating. As stated in my previous comment, it is easy to install and then remove the app from the Shopify store. What your site does not mention is that you change the code of the store to pull SEO information from your app instead of the Shopify SEO settings. You do not at any point mention this needs to be manually changed back to the original code to ensure SEO is able to work correctly. You say you have reached out to me multiple times across phone and email. You also say you have emailed me three times which have all been opened and un-responded to. Both these statements are false. You have not tried calling me by phone at all and you emailed me once only on the 28/09/19. I responded to this email letting you know that Shopify admin had already got involved and fixed the issue for me. They got their coding team involved to fix the errors you had created. I can see this email was opened by your team but was never responded to. I hope anyone looking at installing this app reads these comments and seeks alternative options prior to proceeding.

I am removing the app for 2 reasons. 1) It's a paid service, I expect them to reply to my emails, they don't. They will reply once, and as they don't answer my initial question, I'll email them again. They have never replied and this has happened a few times 2) All they do is pull in different information from different sources into a dashboard, so you could do it yourself for free. It's great if you don't have a clue about SEO to get you started but I find they have no good resources. It's a nice gimmick to have when you have money to waste. And also, I have a tool that enables me to find and fix 404. I always get the notification from SEO MANAGER a long time after I've applied the fix. So I keep getting 404 errors that have already been fixed.

This is one of the most valuable apps for your store period. Being new to Shopify I encountered an error with the Sitemap that I originally thought was associated with SEO Manager. It actually turned out to be an issue with Shopify.. not this plugin. The error was not allowing Google to read my Sitemap and because "Sitemaps" was an option in the app dashboard I assumed it had to do with SEO Manager. After a little back and forth their Tech Support they really came through. They helped me to quickly figure out what the problem was and then they fixed it. Rob was very helpful by providing not only insight about the error but also a little head start on what I could do for SEO to get my site off the ground. There is always something new to learn. I am a SEO veteran with 23 years experience, started long before Google was even a word. There were only directories back then. Search Engines? What are those? So, you're wondering why I needed someone else to do mine store for me? Over 700 products and a small physical handicap was enough. The fee they charge is ridiculous! In my own business I charged thousands of dollars for what they do here for peanuts. One week ago I added this app to our store. I spent hours and hours and hours adding in meta descriptions and target keywords. I saved my work and got the confirmation notice of the saved changes. Today I am doing an audit and 90% of my work is gone. LOST. I am absolutely miffed and upset and the worst part is just try getting a hold of someone for support. They have no real livechat so you wait hours or days for a reply. I do not recommend investing your time and hard earned money.

After I added the program, it could not be opened normally, but the official did not tell me how to stop the program to charge me. The introductory office wrote the cancellation of customer data 48 hours after uninstallation. Is there a reason for not deducting the fee? I haven't got a reply yet. READ THIS NOW !! Used for over a year - it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, it's just a glossy set of tools that are available elsewhere for free. There is also a code error - this app marked all our products rich data as 'pre-order' & drastically reduced traffic - I contacted support twice & they didn't even respond. Crafty app developer asks for reviews before you can fully analyse the results hence all the 5 star reviews - it's totally bogus, dont be fooled, there is no miracle app for SEO. Final point on removing the app: using the standard delete app method within Shopify does not get rid of this app, it's still running ( for free!!!, though you can't access the app dashboard) - complete removal involves a fresh install of your raw theme files. UPDATE 2/10/18: After reading this review the developer offered us the app on a free basis & refunded 2 months of fees - we declined his offer. We've been monitoring our site & since removing this app our site traffic has increased by over 80 % !!!

I don't think this app helped me rank better on SEO. I've used this products on 3 of my websites for nearly 1 year. If you know your keywords on your products, you should able to rank on google. I used mainly this product for my ratings, stocks and reviews that showed up on google snippets. I've been having a problems for almost 2 months now. It used to show up before and this past 2 months they have been on and off. First of all, you need to know that when I had the app installed, it crashed the website. No, not crash, it nuked it and then sent it to oblivion. Seriously though, nothing worked and the coding was messed up. Emailed support, which of course was not a pleasant email regarding what the app had done. I then uninstalled and contacted Shopify support. We were able to revert back to some coding to allow the website to work again. So why the 5 stars for an app that broke the website and did the complete opposite to what was advertised. TWO WORDS: Customer Support! They actually got my phone number from shopify and contacted me directly. They explained and helped me figure out the problem and then got it working correctly. NOTE: if your website crashes or does not work well, you need to contact support and be willing to speak to them. Yes, that means your website may be down for a bit until you can speak to someone. They are willing to work with every person and that is why I gave them a 5 star. The app does work by the way, so you need to understand it is a good product. With actual people who want to help you be more successful by assisting with SEO.

BEWARE, we installed this app and it really messed up our rich snippets on Google. It removed the "star ratings" and listed indicated our products a "pre-order" in SERPs. I contacted support and there was no reply. I have read other shop owners reporting the same issue. Update: Josh from SEO Manager subsequently reached out to provide a detailed response with potential solutions. He indicated they are aware of the issue and it will be fixed. In the end, we decided not to go with this solution.

Their slogan is "Get Found", however, our company "Got Lost" using this app. We have been on Google first pages for years under "tube tops" and "tube top" because this is what we sell. However, once we installed the SEO Manager app, our company Got Lost literally in search rankings on Google. We are now rank on page 3 on Google where no body goes and have lost a ton of money because of this. Our company also disappeared off the tablet search and are no longer on the first pages either. We quickly uninstalled this app and found that you can actually edit your own keywords and collection keywords by using Shopify itself. I honestly believe this app has saved my store. I had no idea how invisible my store was. The, "build it and they will come," theory will cost you your business. This app. is the finest app. in support, functionality, design on Shopify and a true store-saver. I will tell you now, if I can learn SEO, you can. At least with this kind of help they honestly do most of the work for you. I rarely take time to write reviews but this app. is worth every dime and may be our stores salvation. We have great products and at great pricing but we were so disillusioned we almost quit and had no idea we were not really visible to the public. In just a few days my sites hits have skyrocketed, broken links are fixed, meta data added, and my invisible products are being seen more and more every day. This should be the first app you buy for your store, period.

I'm disappointed I couldn't reach anyone over the phone, and emails are returned at hours I'm not awake. It would be nice if they had a dedicated number for customer service/troubleshooting for at least a few hour timespan. I'm sure my issues could have been resolved. I'm on day two, and not knowing what I was doing wrong, I'm deleting the app.

The best thing about the app is the support, you get daily emails with step by step videos to follow making sure you set everything up. They even help you with an installation. The second thing i love about the app how it is so simple to use for a beginner like me and intuitive as well. Each page has video instructions and pdf and is color coded as well so you know you are doing it right.

As we don't need a programmer/SEO expert anymore, this app is changing the way we work and think about our site with respect to Google. Researching are own keywords and thinking really hard about what we are trying to promote and how to set ourselves apart from the competition and then implementing this on our site via this app has been instrumental. Its simple and straightforward input system is pretty foolproof - ideal for non SEO people. Also, their customer service to us was very responsive when we had a couple of queries with our Shopify theme. The very useful brief videos that come in each day explaining and walking you through each part of the app are also worth following for sure.

My shop was already set up with google merchant center , after installing this app, google unlink to my shop and cannot claim again. even after removing this app, Google still confusing and not verify at all. I contact to support team and they admit that that have tech issue with Google and all they can do is refund. they don't know solution yet. Now i still suffering for this and they did not take any responsible for this yet. Big regret of my life with this app.

Well not sure what to say. The customer service team are fabulous, i wasnt very pleased with results for the price, so my trial was extended but i was still being charged. Created alot of tooing and throwing between Shopify and SEO to get my money back, currently waiting a full refund......... i have now deleted this app. As i say can't fault the customer service team for their help, advice and tips. Rob is an absolute legend. For someone like me who is a complete tech novice to understand the beginnings of SEO says a lot about the app, customer service and online tutorials. I just got this a few days ago, and so far, I love it! As a small family operated business, SEO was somewhat new to us. This is a nifty little tool that will help you establish the right information you need for your items to be seen. It tells you what also has errors, and gives you insight on why you need to adjust them. So far 5 stars all the way! We were using a free SEO app before - and this SEO manager app revealed that basically that free app was doing nothing for us. Worth the $20/ month at this point!

Installed this last week and spent hours fine-tuning the SEO for all of our pages, this app makes it so easy regardless of the number of pages/products you have. It also alerts you and creates auto-redirects if you have any broken links. I don't think there is another app that adds more value to your store. This app should be 6 stars!
