  Avada has been extremely disappointing. As a long-time user, I expected a better experience and more respect for existing customers. Instead, core blog features that were previously available were suddenly moved behind a paywall on our new store, with no meaningful flexibility offered. For a newly launched store, this is not a customer-friendly approach. The product may have value, but the way long-term users are being treated is frustrating and unfair. The support interaction felt rigid, unhelpful, and completely out of step with what I would expect from a brand that claims to value its customers. Very disappointing experience. I will not be continuing with this app.

  What’s great about Avada is not only the service itself, but also its excellent customer support. No matter what time I ask a question, they respond immediately. Plus, everyone has given me the right answer, and so far, every issue has been resolved. I’d been assisted by Tobias, Ricky, Beeter, Lang, and Penelope, and I’d been completely satisfied with all of them. As for this blog app, I’m satisfied with the content so far, but since there aren’t many AI-generated images that can be used as-is, I think it would be even better if there were a service in the future that could generate images using our own product photos.

  Avada is excellent. You can use all their apps without any worries, and all of them offer free features, unlike other apps that require an extra tens of dollars. Their team is very helpful in resolving any issues. When I encountered problems trying to use their blog, Tobias was very proactive in helping me and quickly resolved my issue. In short, if you are preparing to launch your business, I recommend using them. If you plan to switch apps, I suggest you definitely switch to Avada.

I have tried to follow the guide provided to no avail. How do we fix that? Also recommend deactivating autosave as that automatically posts your blog while you're editing which could lead to confusion for your customers if your blog/email setting are such to send email with new blog content.   *UPDATE* The team was able to add the text wrapping feature, and address a few other formatting issues as well. There are some other formatting issues (the ability to edit the size of images) that still need to be resolved before we can actually make use of the app, but I'm glad to see that they're actively listening to feedback and implementing changes and features to meet the formatting capabilities of the native blog editor. The overall features of this app are very useful and I was really excited about having everything all in one place with SEO metrics etc. Unfortunately the app requires you to use their blog builder which lacks some of the basic formatting features in the native Shopify blog, and honestly basic formatting on just about any other platform. Most notably major content sections *must* stack vertically, and text wrapping isn't available. There is a content block that allows an image with text, but it splits the image and text sections evenly and squishes text content if it's larger than the image. Also, if you do decide to get this app, be sure to test it on a copy of any of your blogs that already exist as the coding it uses is not removed if you uninstall the app. I had to rebuild one of my blogs from the ground up after uninstalling the app by copying over the raw blog content into a new Shopify blog, formatting it in Shopify, then copying the code *back* into the original blog post to get it back to normal. Overall I do think this App is really useful if you don't have major aesthetic preferences, and if you can work within the confines of their formatting options. Until the app can meet or exceed basic formatting/design capabilities that have been standard since the early 2000s, I'll just do the work manually.

  At first, I was very happy to find this app. Their customer support, which was nice, asked me to leave a review. Without testing the app, I left a 5-star rating. However, once I started testing, I was shocked that this app is even allowed on the Shopify App Store. Here's the reason why I changed my review: First, it removes content such as images and numbered lists, messes up any HTML code you have by adding theirs and injecting a line of code at the top which ruins your code, doesn’t save alt texts, and so on. The most important for me was the wiping of content which is unacceptable! I reported these issues a week ago, asking them to fix them. They told me multiple times that the photo deletion bug was fixed, just to notice it wasn't. I had to reupload those photos every single time and the problem is still there. About 6 times I had to reupload the photos and fix the problems in the Shopify's Default Blog Editor. If their app was not deleting content I was more than happy to use it. But after multiple videos I've sent, pinpointing proof that the content gets deleted, the issue was still there. The last drop is when I specifically asked them not to make changes without my permission, yet they did. I never requested a font change in my code—I only asked you to fix the issue causing my blog content to be wiped. It’s extremely unprofessional to claim a fix has been implemented while I continue to experience content loss, wasted time, and unnecessary stress. I understand this is a free app, but before launching it, test it on your own store instead of risking to ruin other people’s hard work. EDIT: No, that is not true! We used standard blog editor to reupload the images that were deleted by your app. Additionally, we've granted access to our store and although I requested not to make changes without my approval, you guys went forward and totally disregarded my request. I had to work an entire week to fix the problems you guys have caused and seeing your response, trying to turn things around shows a totally different thing than understanding. Before you launch an app, ensure it works by testing it on your own stores!

While it doesn’t currently support Japanese, if multilingual functionality including Japanese is developed, this app could become highly valued in Japan, where Shopify apps are still relatively scarce.
