We run a personalised jewellery store on ShineOn and we publish everything through the API rather than the dashboard. Two things stood out. Support got us API access quickly and answered clearly, and the publish endpoint does exactly what the docs say it does. We took our catalogue from 8 products to 26 without a single click in the ShineOn interface, which is the whole reason we chose a POD partner with a real API. Fulfilment has been clean so far and orders shipped without us chasing anything. Two things we would like to see improved. There is currently no way to add a variant to a product after it has been created, so offering an extra finish means rebuilding the product and re-applying every metafield. And after an API publish, placeholder images and internal SKU tags keep arriving on the product for some time afterwards, so we run our own cleanup on a schedule. Neither of those stopped us building what we wanted. Good product quality, responsive support, and an API that genuinely works.

There are many problems with the name necklaces. If you try to personalize to show a "from" or "to" input box, then the name for the pendant does not show. Therefore the only thing that can be personalized is the "Pendant" but not the card. The variant selectors are not working. If you delete a variant it cannot be added back in. You have to start all over again. I just think that for such a big company, you can do better with the designing part of the process.

First, let me say that my customers' experience with the woven blankets have been very positive - great job! However, the way in which I have to order a sample of items is very cumbersome. It's not as seemless as other apps where I can choose to order a sample without a problem. I haven't used ShineOn that much, but plan to do so, and can provide additional feedback later.

I accidentally promoted these products, and no one could customize. I thought that the customer would automatically be able to do after adding products to my store, but this has been an issue. It's a great platform, the only issue I have is with the free marketing tools for your products, namely figuring out how to use the videos for Add Your Own Message Cards on a necklace. I wanted to make a creative for a message card necklace but don't know how or if it is possible to add my message card to it. I love that there are videos otherwise, but there's no descriptions on the files and no youtube tutorial for this side of Shineon.

The app is glitching. When uploading artwork such as posters I have encountered it will not load product preview images.. I have to try it a few times to get images loading and sometimes not all options appear. I also do not like the image quality at all. My posters look grainy and not vibrant especially when you zoom in preview on my website. I think something is wrong on your end. I followed all requirements for images.

chat tech support is horrible. apparently, you cant order samples of metal prints and canvas prints with your artwork on them. they just wont tell you. you will be in a chat session till your kids come for thanksgiving to visit you in an Assisted Living Facility. Sad... I set up all my art there, and had to find another vendor all because I could not see and touch what I would be selling to others.

I found ShineOn while trying to start a home business. After researching, I loved the fact that the company is based in Tampa, Florida and that they do most of their production there. Having a distributor which is US-based is important to me. The wide variety of products, add-on selections, and customization service is excellent. After receiving a Sample Product Kit, I knew that I could use ShineOn products as products I believe in. Having seen the quality and craftsmanship firsthand, I am proud to be associated with such a fine, US-based company. The website is extensive and takes a while to go through. As I am self-taught, the numerous tutorials and videos have been very helpful. I have never had a bad experience using the Customer Service Live Chat. I will say that the Bot is not very helpful most of the time (at least for me). Some of the tutorials do not cover everything a newbie needs to know in order to properly set up the site and publish it. However, that is a small negative in the grand scheme of things. I look forward to building my business and hopefully supplementing my income.

For something as simple as shipping and production time, it took me two days looking from page to page to sorta figure it out and I only still "sorta" figured it out. I find myself needing spending my valuable time on exterior resources to understand how to use their app, until I realized I'm only wasting my time and it shouldn't be this way. Wanted to connect them to teeinblue hoping the process of using their products will be a bit easier, even that was impossible. As usual I found myself spending an hour looking at different tutorials and articles of how to integrate it to teeinblue, but my dashboard was very different from those tutorials and there was no way to find my API. Finally reached out to their customer service and explained how I looked at different tutorials and articles but still couldn't find my API, what did they do? "Hello, please review article for API instructions." LMAO??? I didn't waste a breath with uninstalling the app after reading that. Do you want people to use your products or not??? Not to mention that I had to also find out from exterior resources that they are discontinuing their wooden base from their acrylics, yet its still there as a variant and they didn't even update the mockups. Imagine if I added that to my store, only for them to send acrylic only to my customer and leave us both confused. A mess.
