We used ShipX to handle complex zipcode-based shipping rules — different rates by region, free shipping thresholds, and several zone exceptions — and it handled all of it cleanly. When we ran into an issue with rates not showing up at checkout, Deepn from support walked us through the setup via Zoom call. It turned out to be a product data issue on our side — nothing to do with the app itself. Deepn was patient, professional, and spotted the problem quickly. Excellent support.

Cant fault the service. Big issue with the app not pushing rates through to Google Merchants Centre via the Google & Youtube app so you can't use Google shopping ads. Managed to work around this by adding a rate outside of ShipX updating and then deleting it.

I was struggling to set up my shipping rates in Canada when I came across ShipX. I contacted them and scheduled a meeting very quickly. Their team is amazing. I worked with their excellent customer service support member, Durkesh Kumar, who helped me set up my shipping options based on distance and weight perfectly. ShipX is very user friendly and highly recommended to use ShipX in the Shopify application. I will try the other Shopify they offer based on this fantastic experience! Update on July 3, 2025: I was facing a problem with setting up the shipping zones which cost me a lot of money. I contacted ShipX and their customer service support agent 'Jennifer' helped me to setup the application correctly which saved me a lot of shipping cost. Update on October 10: Barath did a great job. He helped me to setup the a special shipping rate for one of my products. Perfect Customer Service and vey skilled team. Update on April 02, 2026: Deepan did a great job by integrating our store with Canada Post in order to display live shipping cost to our customers. I highly recommend this application!

Really unhelpful support who informed me that the app doesn't push rates through to Google Merchants Centre via the Google & Youtube app, as such you can't run a google shopping campaign if you use this app for your shipping. Edit: A different support person got in touch and was very helpful trying to resolve. ultimately couldn't do anything to circumvent the issues but i managed to find a workaround which to date is still working

First foray into Shopify and this is the first paid 3rd party app we are trying to configure. (First in free trial mode). Ran into a snag but all you have to do is click the "Live Help" button to connect with someone like Jennifer Joys and she will get you up and running with the rate(s) you need. This happens by way of accepting their "collaborator request" and they can go into your store and see the various configuration, or in our case, mis-configurations, and let you know how to fix it. It is very encouraging to be on this platform and using this app. By the way, this all happened in the wee hours of 5:15am. So rest-assured you are in good hands.

This app has really robust and flexible functionality. They also have good product support, including being available to meet on Zoom to screenshare, so they can help set up more complicated shipping scenarios as needed. We have some byzantine requirements in our store, and I would be a bit lost trying to do everything self-serve, so this is SUPER helpful. I met today with the customer support rep Deepan; he was very patient and knowledgeable, and spent as much time as we needed to help fix my new setup request, making sure that all the scenarios I wanted were entered correctly and taking the time to double-check everything. After testing a number of shipping apps, we decided to use ShipX and we are glad we did. ShipX offered all the features we were looking for as we have complex shipping rules based on postal codes in Canada. We also needed an app that has a smart packing algorithm that takes into consideration the dimension and weights of items and the app does that well. Meaning, the app allows us to optimize the space in our shipping boxes which means saving on shipping fees for us and our customers. Also, the apps allows us to use customer tags or product tags for special rules or scenarios adding to its flexibility. Finally, the ability to sync products with a push of a button instead of manually entering/uploading excel files with new products makes our job easier. The support from the team is probably one the best out there. The team is available for live chat, emails, and zoom. We are very happy with the support we received thus far and continue to do so from Nithish as he is always helping us with our requests and inquiries guiding us to set up things correctly and finding us solutions when we cannot our selves.

I use ShipX app for my drop-shipping Shopify website My Secure Garden. I needed an intelligent shipping rules and rates app which allows me to charge different shipping rates for different products, as well as delivery supplements for heavy and bulky items, and surcharges for specific products being shipped to certain postcodes. ShipX app is a brilliant app for creating tailored shipping rules and rates. Setting up all the shipping rules I needed was complicated but Nitish was available to help me throughout the set up process, and spent several sessions very patiently helping me to set up all the different rates and rules that I require. We are very pleased with the powerful shipping algorithms (scenarios) that can be combined to handle all the shipping calculation situations for our various products. We did encounter a few challenges with mixing products across scenarios that we couldn't figure out, so we reached out to their tech support. They offer a complementary Zoom meeting with their tech support with many times available same day or any day in the week. We were luckily connected with Jennifer who took the time to fully understand our complex scenarios. While she couldn't immediately come up with a solution, she worked with her team for 36 hours and after their testing, she came back for a second Zoom meeting to show how to setup the scenarios to meet our needs. These solutions worked perfectly. She is definitely a great asset to the team. While we have only been live with the website for two days, we are very pleased with how ShipX is calculating our custom ship rates.

It took me months to figure out why I could not set shopify to charge flat rate per item shipping fee. I need to both upgrade my account, message shopify to enable a third party shipping app and then I had to choose the app. It took me several demos but this worked and they set the app up and my shipping profile for me and stayed on while I tested it. It worked like a charm and it took them less than 15 minutes. Well done

Vignesh was very patient and helpful. There was some confusion about different item types but he let me take as much time as I needed. I don't feel the rates were explained clearly. At first, he said "you won't pay the extra $20/month if you change your Shopify plan". But then, he didn't make it clear that when I activated Logbase, I would need to then pay a different $20/month.
