Update on Fablet review. Customer Service helped clear up the info about the free goodies!! The mobile site to select a plan wasn't optimized properly and they fixed that right away!! For those of you wondering how their response time is...well, it's super fast!! They aim to fix problems and satisfy their customers needs. So go install the app and test it out!! Previous review --> Had to install before finding this out. For you testers, it does come with a 30 day trial. Hope this rating isn't taken down so others can read it so they don't get the run around either.

I have to say that the Customer Service I have received from the guys all around and every time has been exceptional. He offered to have one of his designers "spice" up my APP, and they really did a great job. I have received positive feedback so far from people that have used it and they say that it made the BUYING process more seamless and easier. Great company and great support. Have to take a star away for the lack of TEMPLATES. Their site template isnt bad, but its very generic. They dont OFFER any chat except tidio, you cant use loyalty system at all. Just not an option. Would give them higher ratings but those 2 alone had to make me leave. ONCE again their customer support is great; product just isnt all there

Updated 1/10/17 I recently noticed that our site was no longer switching to a mobile version. I emailed ShopPad support, and they had it fixed within 2 days! Great customer service, with a quick response time, and now our mobile site looks great again! Original: So far, this app works great. It was incredibly easy and fast to set up, and looks great on my phone and tablet. The only thing I noticed was that it took a minute to recognize that I was on a phone, so I was browsing the desktop version for a minute when it suddenly switched to the mobile version, so I had to start over what I was doing to test it. It also wouldn't load the mobile version again in my browser once I had switched to the desktop version. But it looks super professional and I love it!

I was such a dummie for getting this app. Got it a couple of years ago and stupid me, I didn't check to see how it looked on mobile. I worked and worked my store the last few years without seeing headway. Last week I checked to see how my store looked on mobile for the first time. It was horrible.It didn't look at all like it does on a computer. It had looked that way all this time! Bad news for me because most of my customers use mobile! It flips over to shoppad where there is no pattern for the layout and it is not at all user friendly'! My sales have increased since I removed it. If you get this you better have a look on your mobile and don't put it off like I did.

Great app! I've been using it for over a year on my Shopify ecommerce site, www.zinniafolkarts.com, and it's been terrific. More and more of my customers are looking at the site on their mobile devices and many more are purchasing items from their phone, never looking at the desktop site. UPDATE: Be careful with Shoppad if you plan on switching to a responsive theme eventually. I ran into an issue with my mobile search results not working correctly, and the support wasn't fully able to help me. --- Shop Pad was the best option I could find to make my site mobile friendly without changing the theme. It has been pretty good, but I ultimately I am switching to a responsive theme to have more control and continuity between my mobile and desktop sites.

Excellent App. Very straight forward and easy to use. Our customers are loving the shopping experience on our Mobile App. The staff at ShopPad are extremely helpful and prompt. Our plan comes with an update every 4 hours feature. However, there was one time when we needed to update before the 4 hours passed on very urgent basis. We contacted the team at Shoppad at a very odd early hour in the day and they immediately initiated the update and saved our lives :) Highly recommend this app.

While the idea is GREAT, and the look is appealing, a couple things need some work. The load time for one. But mostly the navigation. If you want to back out of the listing and dont hit the x, you end up in the previous window of another site. Also, there isnt a way to see more than a few things at a time. I realize its a catalog look, like a magazine, but I dont find that easy to navigate unless your just browsing. I think if a store has a bunch of the same stuff on, and not one of a kind in the thousands like I do, its perfect! Also, the support is stupendous...

LAMPS USA is 100% correct. this app is for basic use only for websites without any integrated services or added amenities. it really doesn't improve anything at all if you have a decent set up already because most themes display perfectly fine on mobile and tablet and still hold the discounts and other services shopify provides. unfortunately, this app destroys any marketing techniques in place and replaces them with a slightly more visually convenient model for some themes, but on others it makes the menu box or side panel virtually impossible to see. integrating the wonderful applications we're paying for monthly would be great.

The old shoppad app was not very good, barely any description of product, poor barely-there homepage etc.... this new one looks much flashier and more app-like and all that. BUT BEWARE. We installed this app and over a period of a few days it was clearly obvious it was a fail. Our bounce rate for mobile and tablets doubled. Our pages per visit slashed from ~9 to ~3. This had a serious effect on our actual sales placed on mobile/tablet, as well as affecting traffic ending up on desktop. We had some of our worst performing days while the app was active, with seriously lower sales and conversion rate, so we have removed it. Our website uses instead a responsive theme with some changes made to mobile, but mostly a desktop website for tablets. Our mobile experience is sort of okay but not that good, it needs a lot of work, and yet it performed twice as good (or more) than this app. So I say beware of the claims and the marketing. It may be better than NO mobile website, but it may also perform worse than a well optimized responsive site. The user interface is a bit sluggish and not really intuitive... the whole thing of turning pages is I think far too removed from normal shopping experience that I didn't even realize that I could do that, or how to get to the products... the usability is poor with too much learning curve. Also the app lacks really useful marketing, sales, various other ecommerce features like cross-sells, up-sells etc... all the cool stuff you can do with OTHER apps and plugins, that have absolutely no effect when using this app. I recommend getting your responsive website put in place well so that you can benefit from all the other things an ecommerce store really needs, which this app does not provide. I'm giving it 3 stars for `looking nice` and `being original` but nothing more, due to the proof that it performs badly and is unintuitive.

This is a GREAT app. Of all the apps I have tried so far, this one is the best. It does exactly what it says it does. It will change your desk top store into an iPad store in a matter of minutes. The customer support is great. I contacted them once and heard back within 24 hours.....very nice! The best part, I can see who uses shoppad and who uses the desk top to shop. Since installing the app (about a week ago) 60% of my customers are mobile device shoppers. I loved the way it made my store look on mobile devices, however after 5 days and attempting to get the kinks worked out, I lost too many sells so I uninstalled. Pages were showing up blank when linked and many items weren't showing variants so I had to go through my inventory, item by item, and add a second variant so my customers would know what they were purchasing. With 3 business and 3 kids, I don't have the luxury of sitting down to a computer to fix it each time :(

We have been using ShopPad for 3 weeks now and would recommend it to any webmaster especially for ecommerce sites that tend to have heavy load of content, images etc.and thus can benefit the most from a separate mobile optimized.version. Both designs for smart phone and tablet viewing are clean and minimalist, exactly what we are looking for. They also minimize page load time and render optimized mobile user experience. The ShopPad app has been really easy to setup and to use. I think it would benefit from a few extra little customisation features such as being able to select the product image shown for each category as well as the products being shown on the sliding display homepage on iPad. It would also be great to be able to show a slideshow of hero images and not just a single hero image on iPhone. But these are only minor things really. The look of our store is crisp and clean just the same as our desktop version.

Initial opinion was that this is a brilliant app that allows small businesses create mobile friendly websites with alot of ease. The more i have gotten into it, the more challenging I found simple processes. You can't directly open desktop pages. The app does appear to be glitchy sometimes. ,y biggest pet peeve was the shop url changing completely to "your-domain.theshoppad.com". Despite having directing subdomain names to CNAME record, the URL is not changing back. On the plus side, the interface on the iPad is especially lovely and I do like the look and feel I was able to create. The iPhone is fine too, though a bit basic. A bit skeptical about this at the moment, but it is definitely worth a try.

An informal survey amongst customers and friends proved to us that we needed a more engaging mobile ready website. We were thrilled to find a cost-effective option waiting for us in the Shopify App Store. ShopPad's plug and play features and sleek look make this an easy option for your store. You'll find some great features in ShopPad. However, there are two big issues that keep me from giving a full 5 stars. Read on to find out more... ShopPad was super easy to install for our store. The options available within the general settings allow you to customize, but aren't overwhelming. The changes you make are real-time, too. That made it easy to experiment, and then reload my browser on the iPhone to see the results. Speaking of responsiveness, ShopPad staff are super accessible. I emailed expecting a delayed, two or three day response time. Instead, I found a personalized email waiting for me when I flipped back to my email client. Since then, ShopPad staff have been friendly and helpful with my questions. There are two things that I think need to be improved (already shared with app developer): 1. There is no true "homepage" in ShopPad. Visitors to your site are immediately met with your collections, so it's tough to introduce visitors to your image and look as you would on a Shopify desktop site. 2. The collections are automatically displayed in alphabetical order. We've taken great care to organize our products to optimize sales. It's a huge bummer to lose that in your mobile site. If we uninstall ShopPad, it will be for this reason. I've given 4 stars in anticipation of these two issues being fixed in an upcoming update, as I've been told by ShopPad staff. Looking forward to it!

I wasn't even planning on implementing it. It was the weekend and I was just fooling around online and heard about it from a buddy that was over. Whenever that happens it usually means the rest of my weekend in front of the computer partially ignoring my wife and kids (not good). Instead this was implemented in about 5 minutes. It took a few minutes for the configuration to sync but no big thing. I am on the paid plan for the custom domain and branding (get rid of the watermark). This is a prime of example of how software is evolving to no coding necessary allowing us to focus on what matters. Sadly I did end up ignoring my wife and kids. My buddy and I went to the bar :).

A mobile strategy in under 5 minutes -- seriously!!! It took me longer to create a logo that was the right size than it did to complete every other step! And the best part is, it doesn't look like a bland, typical mobile site with horizontal "mobile wikipedia-like" bars or most of the usual mobile-site tricks. It is heavily targeted to the iPad, and takes advantage of its abilities. Only one note - it is listed as free, and there is a free option, but most people will want the capabilities of the $14.99/month option. But that little "in-app purchase"-style swerve isn't even close to enough reason to give this app any rating other than perfect.

As an engineer, I have written code for several different applications including e-commerce websites. As a business owner, I no longer have the time or patience to spend hours drilling through code to create a solution that does exactly what I want. This makes for an interesting challenge. Where can I find a solution that most closely fits my need but also fits within my budget? Enter ShopPad for Shopify. I was looking for an application that would prevent me from relying on customer's having to enter coupon codes. And most important, I needed to avoid customers abandoning a sale because they did not have an opportunity to enter the coupon code early enough in the process. (This is the current scenario with Shopify although I have been told by Shopify that they are working to implement an entry for the coupon code earlier in the sales cycle). How can I create a sense of urgency that is dictated by a deadline to help my customers take advantage of a sale that is happening right now? In sales, it's not that most people don't want what you have. They really want to know if what they are buying is at the best price. That is where the sale has a powerful effect for both the Seller and the Buyer. A sale offers savings for the consumer and helps them overcome hesitations that they aren't buying at the best possible price. ShopPad streamlines this process effortlessly. It does all that I wanted to do and more. ShopPad will allow me to pick a collection or a single product and put it on sale for a certain time period. It then automatically adjusts my "for sale" price to the new "discounted price" and puts the regular MSRP in the "Compared-to-price" section. This alone is a huge time saver. Better yet, ShopPad allows me to dictate where I want to put the text that shows the customer the clock is ticking. It clearly shows the customer they only have x amount of hours before the sale ends and the price reverts back to the "Compared-to-price." It's a brilliant idea when you think of it. It takes any confusion of "How long does this sale last?" out of the equation. It also clearly displays the savings to the customer. For the Seller, it motivates the customer to overcome any last second hesitations and commit to making the purchase. Sale received. Not only that but ShopPad does all of the price adjusting and discounting for you. All you have to do is install the App, set up your sales campaigns, and click the Go/Play button. The only part that may be difficult fro some is inserting the code for the countdown timer. However, the support staff of ShopPad is excellent. They will even insert the code for you if you want to give them temporary access to your store. So what are you waiting for? Stop reading this review and install the App already! The proof is in the pudding, as they say. With ShopPad, my stats show that a better bounce rate and longer time on page results on iPads than I get with any other device. The competition is not even close. That's as much as I need to know to love this app.

Not loaded with a large list of features...but it does what it says it will do...AUTOMATICALLY. Its smooth and at this point well put together. With a few updates and a few more options it would be something I would be willing to pay for. VERY easy to setup. All you do is install it and it pulls all your store and product information automatically and makes a very sharp-looking, iPad-friendly store. Great support, too, when I had a question. Seriously, if you want to make your store look great and be easy to navigate on iPads, it doesn't get much easier that this.

Really nice work - the look and feel is pretty good. I want to see the ability to choose what collections I display though before I will use it - otherwise, with the way I've structured my collections, it looks too cluttered. Will watch for updates and will be more than happy to use as soon as some setting adjustments are added.
