Genuinely impressed with both the app and the support. We wanted a custom free-gift setup in the cart drawer, styled to match a specific reference, shown only on subscription purchases and locked so customers can't change it. It wasn't a standard config, but the team built exactly what we described and kept iterating on the finer design details until it was pixel-perfect on mobile too. Special mention to Mauro, Cristian, Anoop and the team, who were fast, clear, and genuinely invested in getting it right rather than just closing the ticket. They even took a fresh copy of our live theme to make sure no recent changes were lost, and transferred the code cleanly so nothing else broke. That kind of care is rare. The slide cart itself is fast, clean, and flexible, and the rewards and free-gift features do a lot out of the box. Highly recommended.

Good app overall and the Slide Cart works well. However, one important downside: the app is positioned as multi-language in the Shopify App Store, but key parts of the free gift feature are not translatable natively (e.g. “Free” and “Add”). The only solution provided by support is to modify these texts via custom JavaScript. In practice, this is not a stable or scalable solution, since the cart is dynamically re-rendered and these changes can reset or interfere with normal cart behavior. This is something you only run into after full integration, which is unfortunate. At that point, switching to another cart solution is not a realistic option anymore. Support mentioned this has been forwarded as a feature request, but there is no clear timeline yet. Hopefully this gets addressed soon. If native translation support for this feature is added, I’d be happy to update this review. -- Update: They fixed the issue mentioned in this review

We highly recommend the Slide Cart feature from AppHQ. The app has all the features we were looking for in terms of upsell/cross-selling, discounts applied pre-checkout, as well as promotion bars. Amazing customer service. We were having some serious issue on the site and even an outside agency we were working with couldn't resolve it. AMP customer support made the code adjustments neccessary on a copy of the live theme, allowed us to preview the changes, and then we pushed them live. Quick response time, and great service. Will absolutely use again 10/10 EDIT: They helped us again. Another app pushed an update without telling us that broke out add-to-cart button entirely. Even though AMP wasn't responsible, they still helped us and saved us THOUSANDS of dollars because we didn't have to miss another full day of sales. Life savors!

When I noticed the shipping protection option wasn’t working properly in my cart, they went above and beyond to investigate the issue thoroughly. What impressed me most was their attention to detail. They tested the problem in their own environment, provided clear feedback on what was going wrong (in this case, the app couldn’t detect the Shipping Protection product correctly), and offered concrete steps to fix it. They even identified that my protection product was showing as “sold out,” which it should never be. They gave me precise instructions to reset the setup — and it worked flawlessly. Slide Cart’s support team is not only responsive and friendly, but also technically skilled. Their dedication really made the difference for my store. BE AWARE: They’ll keep charging you even if you uninstall! No refunds. This is hands down the most frustrating experience I’ve had with a Shopify app. I uninstalled the app, didn’t use it for an entire month, and guess what? I still got charged. And not just that – they refused to refund me. I reached out to support immediately, and what followed was a never-ending loop of copy-pasted apologies and empty promises. Every reply was the same generic message: “We’ve escalated your request to the finance team…” “Please be patient…” “We understand your frustration…” It’s been weeks. No refund. No proper resolution. Just the same excuses, over and over again. I was actually planning to re-subscribe after taking a short break from the app, but after this experience? No way. If they treat loyal customers like this, imagine how they’ll treat you when something goes wrong.

Unfortunately, my theme is not a commonly used theme and I couldn't find a place to modify the code, their technicians supported me very quickly and helped me solve the problem, very good service!
