Updated: Thank you. I've received your emails and read the reply to this review. I appreciate the reply and fix. Previous Review: I've emailed support team in the past, via "support link" or the gmail email address they provide in the app. I've never received a response yet. They recently included a new feature in the app, 'Enable GDPR-compliant analytics' which seems to relate to a new console error I'm receiving from our site. I get a status 400 error from file 'set_tracking_consent.json' which, according to Shopify Support, the app is failing for smarteucookinbanner.upsell-apps even when agreeing to cookie consent.

Very Bad Support Team. The worst App Support i have had in that 1,5 years i am using Shopify. I have waited 3 days, get an answer, then i wrote in 1 hour back, now i am waiting since 2 days again. Lost 5 days. NO RECOMMEND!

I think this is the only TRULY GDPR COMPLIANT app on the shopify platform. I have looked at others but they are simply just a cookie bar. At least with this app you can actually be compliant! £3/month is such a small price to pay in comparison to the HUGE fines you could receive for being non-compliant. Thank you for actually creating a real GDPR consent app!

Simple app and easy to install (But you need to be interested in GDPR!) That is always the basic requirement. My "Aha-Effect": If a user revokes consent, the cookies will deactivated after the next link in the navigation is opened. Very good app! Great App! And the only one good for GDPR with consent recording for a reasonable price. Only remark is to have the site where the consent can be managed to be able to edit the language/translate it. Absolutely recommend it!

Nice app, very simple to use and easily customisable. Have installed onto 2 stores with no problems. Happy to pay for it so that we can access cookie compliance data. The only reason I haven't given it a full 5 stars is simply because there's no way for users to view the cookies and self-manage their opt-in/out...if this could be added as part of the apps development plan that would be great - very happily pay for this functionality to be completely compliant with GDPR! This app is not GDPR compliant so do not be fooled by these garbage app. You must register active consent to be GDPR compliant and this app does not let you do that. This is just a cheap marketing app so you can install their garbage paid apps.

Just installed the app and it works like they say it will. As opposed to all the others where things went wrong right out of the gate...this seems like the best option! Besides, you can turn off the notification for countries outside of the EU, which is a very good thing.

Great app! I like it very much that the cookie bar will appear only in EU countries! Great work, guys :) Also like Wemakohomes posted before me - it is the only app that doesn't want to veiw your orders (I am starting to think that the developers make free app just to spy the stores). So, thank you for the good EU Cookie Banner Free and one more thing - the part with the "tracking cookies" in the banner really sounds scary. Please, change it with something much friendly if you can :)

It's probably the only app that looks good (design doesn't break) and doesn't require unnecessary permissions (like the "manage orders" permission that other such apps require... for some reason. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the default message is a bit scary to some people (the part about tracking), and there's no way to customize the text. Buy really really nice features.
