After having problems with an alternative Product Tabs App which I'd been using for 5 years I decided to make a change to something new. Installation was a breeze as was transferring across the static tabs a simple copy/paste. I did come across one issue relating to the Judge.me integration so contacted support on a Saturday afternoon. I heard back almost immediately and after authorising access thought I would hear back earlier the following week. To my surprise, Sunday morning I receive a message that it was all fixed and it was!! Outstanding service from everyone at TK Digital and an excellent App that has so many more options than the older version and all at the same price. I look forward to seeing what else they develop.

absolute garbage. Don't waste your time. I installed this one and one more plugin and got a load of spammy emails on my email. Talking with my lawyer to see who is responsible for under the GDPR EU law. If it was you, delete my email from the BS lists.

This app advertises "unlimited tabs" on the free plan, which is completely misleading. After installing the app, I discovered that you actually have to upgrade to a paid plan to use any tabs at all. The free plan is essentially useless. This bait-and-switch tactic is incredibly frustrating and a waste of my time. I specifically chose this app because of the advertised free unlimited tabs, and now I have to look for another solution. I would not recommend this app to anyone looking for a truly free option. Don't fall for the false advertising!

I had been using another Tabs app. But with the previous app, the tabs would not display correctly on a phone sized screen. Tested a couple more Tabs apps, but they all displayed the same off-centered way on a phone. Then I tried this one. The FOLDER Tab app looks GREAT on a phone and on desktop! I'm very pleased.

I have been using this app for a few years now and I find it really good. What's good about it is that I can communicate a lot of different information on the product pages without it being overwhelming in terms of too much text. I have the first tab for the description, another tab for delivery info, another for the reviews and another for gift giving. I am able to update the delivery info at different times of year ie. at Christmas all in one place and the switch the tabs that are displayed and switch them back again. We can put different tabs on different products. There can be issues, as with all things techy but I have found that the team gets back to me super quick - within the hour, to acknowledge the issue and then works to resolve it. I would whole heartedly recommend this app

Simple and effective application. I needed to add three tabs below my product page, and the support very kindly did that for me. A minor drawback is that sometimes the tabs take time to load. So, if someone with a slow computer scrolls down, they will see my product page without the tabs for a second or two. I appreciate how one can configure the tabs on mobile, either in accordion style or in a classic manner if there aren't too many tabs. Overall, I recommend the application. The support is responsive and I hope not to encounter any problems in the future.

I've had this app for a number of years and it has been great for my website. I never had any issues until recently I noticed my product descriptions weren't showing on my product pages which is what I use the app for. I reached out to support and they responded immediately. They found the issue wasn't with their app but with leftover code from another app I had uninstalled. They removed the bit of code that was causing the issue and fixed the problem within 25 minutes of my initial email reporting the problem. Amazing customer service!! I was so stressed and panicking and they saved my day! It's obvious they care immensely for their customers. Can't recommend them enough!

The TK Digital Team has 5/5 support. We were using the service just fine for the last two years with no issues. I have used this APP for over a year, and I am always impressed with how they are always quick to help integrate whenever I update my theme. They seem to truly value people beyond that initial purchase and build a solid and trusting relationship and positive rapport with their customers. The last time they helped me integrate was last fall, and this time was to a full Shopify 2.0 Theme and I was finding it a bit daunting after everything else I had to do to fix the structures of my site ahead of a big launch coming up. Thankfully they always make it a smooth experience. So, instead of scrambling today after my all nighter last night to finish all the other details of moving to Shopify 2.0 and rebuilding my site, I was able to spend time with my family while they expertly updated the product tabs integration for me. I needed an application which can display additional information about the product on the product pages, for exp. about the brand or shipping time. After trying many apps, I have chosen this one because the application is super responsive, it automatically adds information tabs to the product pages once it's all set up, I like the fact that you can choose vendors, tags, or collections to add the tabs to the pages and also exclude certain products. While it would be great for this app to function great out of the box I do understand with all the variations in Shopify it can be hard. Honestly not sure why we have to pay for something that should be standard. That being said the price for this app is very reasonable. The support has been very responsive if I need something and they go in and fix it. It can be hard to find companies that will offer a quick turnaround and actually help rather then making you do everything. I signed up for the yearly plan and the free trial was nice to give it a try. I like that there isn't a ton of upselling for little features and they keep it simple. I'd recommend using this app if you need to add tabs to your store!

My theme has some sort of tab function built in, but this app seemed to do everything that I wanted. After messing with the free version, I decided it was definitely worth paying for. I'd actually say that the free version is useless but the paid version is affordable. However, right after getting the paid version there were a few small issues with the way this app and my theme worked together. I reached out to support and they had it fixed in under 24 hours. I do not review apps but with how smoothly they fixed my issues I had to write a review. Good job TK. Good app.

This is a must have app to increase your user experience, knowledge or whatever that you think may increase the buying desire. Tabs let you make your product pages rich with information for buyers as well as decreasing the length of the page. People can only open the tabs they want, but if they don’t, it’s easy for them to get to the “related Products” and then the footer of the page. If you don’t have tabs, it’s so tiring for people to scroll through the information which they saw 3 minutes ago while visiting your other product. Then finally after viewing a couple of products, they get tired of seeing the same things below the product description and leave. I've had these guys' apps before, and I always ended up giving them 5 stars. App Functions: 1) Functions are more than enough to give you a detailed and personalized tab look. I really mean it. Width, length, border, color, border color, inside color, outside color, open color, closed color, you name it you can make it the way your brand and website feels like. 2) You can add so many tabs above and below, and you can customize the content in the tabs freely... You can drag and drop the tabs to change their priority/section. Support: My tabs were opening upward. By mistake I asked them to fix it on the wrong theme, but after they fixed the issue I realized that I addressed them to the wrong theme. Long story short, they fixed it again on my other theme very quickly. Communication: They contact you back very quickly. I have contacted them multiple times for some small issues in the past. They clearly mention every detail and communicate with you, so you know what's going on. They also communicated with our programmer to help him adjust the tabs according to our desire and our theme. Improve Conversion Rate: If you DON"T know what to put in your tabs, go through the best in your industry, make a list of all they show to customers before purchasing. Then get the content of your list personalized and put it in your tabs as well as reviews. Advanced Ultra Sales Improvement: Make specific content for each collection and make the tabs show only for the specific collections. (I personally prefer to use tags for such situations, because with "tags" the tabs would still show up even if the product URL doesn't contain the name of the collection. "Tags" are gonna be added to the next versions of the app as I talked to the TK Team. But so far I'm using "Types", "Vendor" to get the results I just said. It's limited since you can only put one product type or one product vendor for each product, but I made it work so far, hopping to get the new updates soon) For example I have specific tabs for the rings, which give more information about sizing...etc

Its free and looks great. But the main thing I was looking for was changing from tabs to accordian on mobile. There's an option in there to change automatically, but it doesn't work. Really happy with this app. Many of our products have lengthy descriptions that are hard to digest. Tabs were a GREAT way to break the material up into bite sized sections. I moved to the paid app right away to include bullet pointed text. It looks great. My tab headings were too long initially, causing my tabs to stack vertically, accordion style, instead of horizontally. A quick adjustment to simplified tab names and I got a nice horizontal layout again. The app is mobile optimized, the tabs accordion beautifully to a vertical layout, keeping the clutter and the scrolling to a minimum. All in all, this app was extremely easy to install, fairly intuitive for those of us who have very little tech experience, support responded back within an hour via chat to help. Free Tabs works great with shopify's predetermined video container size, etc. I haven't had to change anything to make this app work with my current Debut theme and it's many app add ons. Seamless and flawless. We had some issues with some tabs not appearing. It took a bit of time to get a developer response, but Edi was able to show me where we were inadvertently copying coding from mfg websites and pasting it with text on our descriptions! This was causing tabs not to appear and formatting issues. Completely not related to Tabs. Edi was able to show me the code that needed to be removed and pointed out that CTRL+SHIFT+V would be a better paste option if copying product descriptions from mfg site to our site. Thank you Edi.

Great app, great support. But does NOT support multilanguage with GTRANSLATE. Single language only. Your tabs won't be translated- it's build this way....We had FREE one but we needed more shared tabs and custom design, so we paid for the premium. Great price/value for this app! This app needs some small changes: I want to place tabs on 132 individual products, but there is no "SELECT ALL" on the setings page in Shared tab/applies to/some products/products popup windows. Every time you add a new item to a "group , that's not a collection" , we technically need to select 132 items one by one. That's because you need to filter on Type or Vendor if you want your tabs visible after clicking on a recommended item. We can't use Type or Vendor in our shop. Please add a SELECT ALL option to Shared tab/applies to/some products/products popup windows. THANKS

Set this up and the product tabs are show up, but after about 30 minutes of playing with it, I got them to show up only to find them at the very top of the page. It doesn't allow you to move them to the bottom of the product page, which is pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Support isn't very good and the tutorials are pretty terrible. I would recommend a different plugin if you're looking to extend your product tabs.

We installed this app when it was a Free Tab App ( Initially you could add as many tabs as required for free on their easy app installation ) and it was working perfectly. We were unaware the app had changed and it had been upgraded ....it was only when we started to have problems to our product pages with duplicated tabs appearing that we reached out to the team... they then notified us that the app had been updated and it is now only free for "one tab" but you can actually add more tabs they stated for free a different way if you insert headers in the narrative which we have decided not to do at this stage. If we do this later we will submit a separate review on it. We had to deactivate our app and install again due to the upgrade of their app and although initially we did have some teething problems the team have been absolutely AMAZING with their support. We would definitely recommend this app to you all and we would also suggest to you all not to forget after any changes the Tab Team make you "clear cache on your browser" otherwise you will not see any changes made. Now they have updated the app if you want it free like us you do have their logo link to their app which is fair enough. Thanks Smart Tabs for your app and assistance. DW Team

WARNING! This up will mess up your product descriptions layout and even after you deactivate and delete app, the product descriptions are still messed up. SO FRUSTRATING! There should be a test done on these apps before they are able to be released on Shopify! Use at your own risk. EDIT: After deleting the app, the product descriptions has now gone back to normal. The app would have been great and I would probably have continued to use it had it not messed up my product description layout.

EDIT TO REPLY TO COMMENT: I had the app for 2 weeks, not "like 5 mins doh". I had to install and de-install it 6 times, as the settings page kept on freezing and wouldn't let me "de-activate it" before dis-installing. I contacted your help team twice, with massive issues. You said it was fixed and it wasn't in the slightest. When I tried using it again nothing had changed. The entire settings page was frozen. Don't try to pass off your shitty app failures on your customer. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Extremely buggy app that just froze every time I tried to update and didn't show on product pages half the time. Shame bacause if it worked it looked pretty good. Help desk tried to fix it, but were rude and asking for me to email them passwords for store access instead of submitting an access request via Shopify which makes me extremely suspicious.

With the app working as intended and maintaining my settings, it's a great app - I'm happy to update this to 4 stars. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW MAR 26, 2019: I had installed this with the hope that I could manage tabs easily. Initially everything seemed work well and the set up wasn't bad (hence 2 stars). The loss of 3 stars comes from the fact that subsequent updates to the app killed my tab settings and broke the display of description information on my store. If you update, you should maintain the user's existing settings. I lost time and money thanks to this.

Got my product page looking neat and tidy now. Had some trouble with the codes from a previous app, but it was fixed by the support team with ease. This app does not require coding knowledge, so it's pretty straight-forward to use. I like the accordion function the most as it allows for some interaction on the page. However, some may prefer the normal standard view depending on your page's layout. Overall, everything looks eye-pleasing now. I do have a small issue which is that my bulleted list cant be shown now. Will check it out again with the support team, and get it fixed! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to tidy up their product page!

As others have already said, this was fine until the update. Now it runs slowly and displays "Smart Tabs" branding. Bullet points in our descriptions also no longer display. The developer did respond to our support inquiry (thanks for that) but does not have a fix for the delay. UPDATE: Developer is looking a little deeper to see if bullet points and speed can be fixed. Upgraded to 3 stars on that basis alone. If they can fix things, we might just stick with it.

You have really got to be kidding me? So, the process is like this: "Let's give the application for free" "Users install the app, configure their site with the tabs, with the expectation that it's free" "Now, let's disable the ability to use the tabs, since we now need money"... "We just need a "Small Contribution" to re-enable your features"... Dirty business practice (especially without forewarning any users)...I now have to redesign my site (as I intended my product descriptions to be easily available, next to our policies), as well as stopping all of my advertising campaigns. BTW, Thomas, your responses to everyone - "It was either this or closing the app" as a resolution is just as ridiculous as your decision to do this. All you had to do was grandfather old accounts in, or offer alternative methods, so people aren't STUCK with having to redesign their sites as the only option. And even if we wanted to pay so we can continue with our site until there is an alternative isn't even an option...as you don't list it anywhere on Shopify's listing , or offer a link to anywhere on your site. Save yourself the trouble and go with Easy Tabs by NexusMedia. The app works as expected and installation is simple.

This app was great when I installed it. Then I had a problem with bullet form not showing up in my tabs. I contacted support and was given vague responses as to how to fix the issue. Support was never online and when they were it was usually in the middle of the night so it was hard to get a response and it was one message a day.After four days and five messages, the solution I was given did not work and I could not waste anymore time with dead tabs on my site so I uninstalled it.

Update: had a problem and they responded really quick - easy to use and great for adding tabs. You used to have 2 free but now its 1 free tab which isnt bad!!

So far the app does what it's intended to do. It puts tabs for extra information. You'll need to play around with the app a little but it's easy to figure out. It's very cheap as well. Great app!

By identifying tabs through header tags, it makes it effortless to separate key information through the admins product description input. I was able to split product descriptions from my product specs making the product page seem much less busy..

This app "was" fantastic. Did exactly what I needed. However, there has now been an update which means you have to "pay" to have more than 1 tab. which is pointless as its now not a free tab app. Might as well not use it and just have item description.. poor show guys! at least let us have 2-3 free tabs!

The recent update caused some small problems but the great team managed to solve them patiently and fast. Now I am happy and the plugin works great. Next time the new update launch should be handled differently but in general they now did a good job and the plugin works great again. Can 100% recommend.

Como es gratis ponen el nombre de la aplicación en la parte inferior derecha con un link a su propia aplicacion por lo que la pagina deja de ser profesional, perdemos el tiempo y nos toca volver a empezar. Le doy una estrella porque no le puedo dar menos. La he desinstalado y aun así me sigue apareciendo, he tenido que pausar la pagina para que no lo vea nadie. Estoy super descontenta

It was a good app until the recent update. It detroyed all my pages without any warning. You want to charge a fee, that is fine. But you should give a way that customer could uninstall it without any hassle. I spend a whole day get my pages back to work. Rubbish people.

Seems like they did an update recently. Used to be free and now charges extra for static tabs. After the update, not only they mess up my product page, but what's more disgusting is that now you have to pay in order to be able to edit the static tabs --- It's fine that I can't edit them, but they don't even allow me to grab the words I originally wrote under those tabs, so frustrating!!
