Our company runs monthly giveaways for all our wonderful customers on social media. Is my first time using this app for a giveaway and I had a concern, I pull up the chat window and in a couple minutes they answered all my questions. Needles to say great app and awesome support system. Well my first experience was good, but now I wanted to contact support for a question about their plans because I can find the answer on their plan page and I have sent 3 emails and one chat window in 3 days and nobody has contacted me yet. Can somebody tell me when and how I can cancel a plan subscription? I cant fine the answers anywhere and they are not replying to any of my messages. Thank You.

After discussions with the developer I upgraded my rating. Its not that the app is particularly difficult- there is no coding needed or anything too difficult for a novice, but figuring out where to navigate to fulfill all the needed steps seems a bit confusing and unclear. He was very patient with me and helped guide me, but it was time consuming. I hope they can streamline things better. I have created my first campaign and hopefully it will bring me a bunch of new customers! In the past week I've had to deal with all sorts of computer problems including microsofts windows 10 update bugs and I lost all patience. He was kind enough to still help me. This app was easy to set up and looks nice in my store. On my end everything has been great. I'm paying for a more expensive plan, but I figured it would be worth it. My customers, however, hate it. I have constant messages of issues on their end with social boost not counting certain sign ups (especially Youtube subscriptions). I've recommended basic trouble shooting like using a different browser, turning off adblock, etc, but I really can't fix their issues since it's an issue with social boost and not on my end or anything I have any control over. I can't find a way to manually add entries for these customers either so I get the brunt of their anger. When my giveaway is over, I won't be using it again. It's a shame because, again, on my end it was great. But it needs to work for my customers or it's pointless!

We used Social Boost to run our pre-launch social sharing giveaway and it's really great! Super easy to set up and install and we got a lot of engagement. It's really full-featured in terms of entry options and all settings are configurable. You can even set it up so that customers are automatically added to your Shopify customer list when they enter the contest. We had it run on our password page while our shop was in pre-launch and it worked great. Would highly recommend and definitely will use again in the future!

I used the app when I first opened my store to create a Giveaway Campaign - I was trying to find a way to bring awareness to my store and products other than paid ads (which were not very successful for me at first). The Campaign creation process was easy and so was the integration on my website. Through the campaign, I was able to reach thousands of leads. The best part about it is that I could download the email list and use it (through the paid plan) which is VERY worth it. I most definitely owe my first sales to Social Boost!

It took a little getting use to, but all in all it is easy to use. It will take a few minutes about 20minutes or more to set up a campaign. You will have a lot of choices to make along the way. For images downsize to half the size of a 1024 x 1024 and the image should resolve nicely, Ran a giveaway and it integrated nicely with the website, but the page load is rather long.

Absolutely love this app and the customer support is outstanding. I will say that it takes a bit of time navigating around the interface to figure out where and how to set everything up, but once I did get it all figured out and set up, I was thrilled with result. One thing to note is that there is a setting in the initial set up of the sign up form that is worded as "Offer users to subscribe for more campaigns" which I misunderstood. The idea is that if you do check the box for that setting it will make it so that an entrant needs to check a box to explicitly subscribe to your newsletter. Depending on how you view the legal requirements around subscribing you may or may not want that setting. I also had an additional request which customer support at first told me was unavailable, but once I explained my rationale and the importance for our own customer relationships, the dev team jumped on it and had a solution in place within only a couple days. Truly outstanding service! Thanks Akash and team.

Set Up Process was great and everything looked great then when trying to do simple things like save a new title and apply terms and conditions the app would not let me save anything so i hit a wall and have now uninstalled. sorry

It's my first shop that I am running and I am looking for some contests that can boost my emailing/social media list. I tried the bigger developers like ViralSweep and many others but they didn't have much to offer with their free plan. So, I kept searching for another app and I came across Social Boost by MavApps! It is completely free with full access but you will have up to 10 leads (you'll have to pay if you want more). I only used up to 6 leads and I am more than happy to find this app because it is fully customizable! I was actually shocked by the response from the developers. He actually made a short video just for me to help guide me through the setup process and gave detailed explanation to each section! Also, he said my name in the beginning of the video so it was just for me. Give them a try and if you need support, then I am confident that these guys won't let you down! I am sure these guys will improve if you give them actual feedback rather than dropping a 1-star because the app gives you a step-by-step process (very easy). To developers! Keep up the great work and looking forward to see some more features like spin wheels and get more spin doing the following terms...
