I have been using Stocky for over 2 years and it has met many of my inventory control needs. I just read somewhere that it will be no longer available as of August of 2026. Is this true? And If so, what is recommended as a replacement? I need to be able to track inventory, run summary with activity reports, make adjustments, create pos, etc.

All I wanted this app for was to have an easier time doing physical inventory of my store. This absolutely did not work. I was genuinely hoping for a way to simply scan all my product for my yearly inventory, but despite following all the instructions to set my scanner and do the actual scanning (and yes, I do have a compatible scanner), it did not work. So once again I will be doing inventory manually. One would think Shopify would have a good, functional physical inventory taking system, so it's frustrating and honestly baffling that they do not, especially after existing for so long.

Sadly after using Stocky for 8 years it is now officially unusable. The forecasting feature was never the most accurate but still very useful. But now to it's completely useless. Remember in the early day's of Stocky when it was a private Australian company having a chat with Seb the app's creator and the service was awesome and the features worked great. Since Shopify took it over it's progressively got worse, they didn’t buy it to grow it. They bought it to neutralise it and bundle it.

Terrible. Says it works with Shopify POS. Then you install it, wonder why it doesnt work - and realise its pushing you to upgrade to Shopify POS Pro at $89 per month. I have no idea why they wouldn't allow small businesses on Shopify to have access to the app for even the most basic inventory management.

When can we expect to see the variant options increased on Stocky? It's great that we can have 2048 variants per product in our catalogs, but if I can't see them all to reorder, what is the point?

Absolutely unusable for any real retail operation This app is completely useless for us. We run multiple stores with a large product catalog, and Stocky simply does not offer the basic functionality any serious retailer needs. First of all, there is no proper way for multiple staff members to perform inventory counts at the same time. No scanner app, no multi-user workflow, nothing. For a store with thousands of SKUs, this makes Stocky practically impossible to use. On top of that, there is no simple POS tile that lets staff receive or transfer stock directly. Everything must be processed through orders that need to be created in advance. This workflow is absurd. We deal with hundreds of orders every single day — following Stocky’s process would require hiring several extra employees just to manage stock adjustments. It’s the most inefficient setup I’ve ever seen. For anyone running an actual retail business with real inventory needs, this app is a complete waste of time. _ Für den Einzelhandel absolut unbrauchbar Diese App ist für uns komplett unbrauchbar. Für jedes reale Einzelhandelsgeschäft mit echten Inventur- und Lagerprozessen ist diese App reine Zeitverschwendung.

I have no problems creating POs, receiving or adjusting inventories. My problem lies with the label printing. This feature worked (poorly) for a few weeks and now can't find my printer. Spent an hour with customer support, they couldn't fix it. Was told it was being escalated to developers. It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything else. Even if they figure out why it can't find my printer, the label feature is terrible!!! I've had to switch to a paid app for my labels, which works great, but I'm really unhappy about having to pay for what should be a pretty basic POS feature.

Great potential — completely neglected by Shopify Stocky has the potential to be a fantastic app, but it’s been completely abandoned. I was told it used to be a 3rd-party app that actually worked well before Shopify took it over — and sadly, they’ve done nothing to improve it. In fact, they’ve even removed some of the original features. If I were the original developer, I’d be heartbroken to see what it’s become. I’ve tried multiple times to integrate Stocky into my business, but it’s missing some really basic processes that make everyday use painfully slow and inefficient. There’s no way I could ask my team to work with it. I’ve ended up sticking with Google Sheets, which is far clearer, faster, and adaptable to my needs. Whenever I’ve contacted Shopify support about Stocky, they’ve known absolutely nothing about it. I had to push to reach two people who seemed to understand it slightly better — but even they couldn’t offer any real solutions. There’s a real gap in the market for what Stocky should be doing, but it seems it’s just not “glamorous" enough for Shopify to care about. A real loss.

We have loved this app, but now I cant bring in a new product into the purchase order, it cant find the item. Also, cannot do an inventory adjustment on a new product, cant find the item. I've had a case number over a week now, no solution. My receiving team is in gridlock! It has brought out warehouse receiving to a stop.

I enter a invoice and go to print labels, I get this error message. Had stocky now for a number of years, this has just happened. error message printing label extensions , the calling thread cannot access this object because of a different thread owns it , bad request. 1. Have reloaded Dymo and the drivers ( shopify tech support helped and was excellent ) 2. Have called dymo global and all is working from their end and printing correctly. 3. DONT USE THIS APP! Just another Shopify example of spending time to teach staff how to use, and running your operations on, only for them to deprecate features you rely on. Stocky has been an extremely valuable tool for us, and we used the transfer feature on a daily basis. Thanks to our predefined min/max stock levels for each location, we were able to take full advantage of the replenish function. With the Easy Scan app, we even generated barcode labels for all products within a transfer – a real productivity boost. If this functionality is truly no longer supported in Shopify, it will create a significant additional workload for us. That’s a major concern.

Been using for 6 years without issue, however lately, data feed and particulary the vendor list is not aligned. Shopify (owners of the stocky app) have attempted to assist but largely disconnected from the problems. Become a liabilty of late, rather than a help to stock management. Update: Higher level devs got involved and have identified an error which requires a patch. Refreshing to get propoer support after going through the AI bots and low level help.

This is so frustrating, this app works well for us even with its flaws to enhance Shopifys POS limitations, but now functionality on Transfers is being moved from it and moved to Shopify Admin. I wouldn't mind if the changes were an upgrade on the app but we are losing functionality. Very Sad that development is not being put into a very useful app, and assuming that eventually all areas will be moved to Shopify Admin with limitations rather than just developing this app further.

Please add a search function to help stores with a lot of different cartons from different brands locate the item they’re looking for. As of now we have to open each list individually until we locate the correct one, sometimes stocky will automatically scroll all the way up after going back causing us to have to scroll all the way down and relocate where we were.

This app is not suitable for you if you have more than 100 products. It looks and functions like an app that was developed by a single person in a basement. It lacks many basic features, like a simple select all button. You can’t apply filters to anything. It becomes very slow when you add more products. Some pages take more than 30 seconds to load.

AGREED with recent reviews. The recent update makes it so much more cumbersome to add products to inventory and it wasn't even that great to begin with. But at least it didn't require bouncing back and forth between Shopify and Stocky. I don't understand how this function isn't of the highest priority for developers. Adding products to inventory to be able to purchase and sell them is literally the most important task for all retailers and yet it is soo incredibly time-consuming and inefficient across these platforms.

This app was added by our retail team primarily to facilitate inventory counts. While it works well for a one-time year-end count, we found there to be gaps when conducting counts over time, using a perpetual inventory count system. At minimum, the CSV downloads of inventory counts should list the date the count was conducted and the stocktake number so that the downloads can be traced back to an individual count in Stocky. Preferably, users should be able to download multiple counts into one CSV, with dates and stocktake numbers listed. The app would also benefit from a report that could tell you the date an item was last counted.

Why haven't you guys updated this app? It has so much potential but makes everything so much more difficult. To start, at least let Stocky have the same functionality as the Shopify PO's & Transfers. This app is so painful to use. Please, please, please update this app. Please make it better. It is so close. I can't even view the product descriptions on the purchase order. This feature should just be a given. Every time support is contacted they just mirror my concerns and say they will pass it on to the developer. I thought Shopify was the developer and that is what I was doing?!?! Do Better.

Poorly optimized product. Doesn't balance to 0 when transferring inventory. Doesn't show products sometimes that are active. Barcode scanner only works in hidden option, not in line items. All this app did was make our inventory worse.

Super unhappy this app is conditioned to POS Pro subscription. Shopify is not cheap on its own - and these simple calculations within the shopify environment should be included in the package. Also given it used to be included.

I would gladly rate this product 5 stars if they added the ability for store-level users to perform stocktakes directly within the POSGo app or via a web portal. This feature would allow inventory counts and adjustments at the store level without requiring access to the Shopify backend or the app itself. It would be a game-changer for stores with multiple locations that frequently conduct inventory checks and need a streamlined, location-specific solution.

Frequently glitchy, and with an extremely unintuitive workflow. Trying to get support from shopify is also extremely difficult as most of their support staff isn't familiar with the app, and will pass you around or give you incorrect advice. The most recent update was a downgrade!

Why does every update lower the functionality of the app?? - You now have to click edit on every PO to make updates (change it back!) - The new colour scheme does not let you easily differentiate between orders pending and received (change it back!) - When importing goods, sometimes you do not know the total landed costs until after all the import duties and taxes are paid. Stocky LOCKS the landed costs once goods are received. We need to be able to update shipping costs post order - to accurately see the Landed Costs (Please fix this as it is the most crucial part) -------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply 05/11/2024 In reply to the comment "you can click the Edit button on the top of a received purchase order to open up the option to adjust the shipping rates as needed." - the figures such as the margin and landed costs remain locked if you have already received the items, so this is not an acceptable solution. I almost didn't install this app due to the overall rating but it is actually brilliant and should be a 5/5. It is the only cost effective app on the market that not only directly links to the Shopify 'cost price' but adjusts that cost price according to the different buy prices across multiple PO's. You do not need a POS retail location to use this app for ecommerce only, there is no better app to manage cost prices in Shopify if you buy stock at different prices. Just brilliant.

As others mentioned: Stocky is getting worse with every update. Unfortunately, in the last "update" they removed the functionality "receive without syncing". As our logistics work separately from our management, Stocky is basically unusable without this feature. We can't mark orders as delivered without totally blowing up our Stocktakes in Shopify. Without being able to remove our delivered purchase orders, most of the reports are filled with wrong data too. Good job, Stocky team

Some needed functionality: 1. Receiving vouchers, so an invoice can have multiple receipts against it. 2. When receiving, the dollar total should only include what is checked off as received. 3. Ability to print barcode labels for specific items on a PO, or invoice, etc. 4. Ability to sort documents while viewing. Right now you have to go into settings if you want to sort differently. 5. (September 2024) Update no longer allows you to edit product costs while receiving.

So far so good, we have never used a stock management system before so we have been implementing stocky. Works great for us, allows us to enter our purchase orders in very easily and link to our suppliers. When containers have arrived we have marked as received and the stock has updated perfectly on Shopify. I see lots of negative reviews for this app but so far we have not experienced any issues.

HELP. I have never used it for years because I can't even get it to link and set up. And regular Shopify Help has me on hold forever and has no idea. It won't see/find Dymo printer at all. Nothing. I need to give it permissions .. and there is no button to NOW allow Permission. Just sends you to INFO about permissions. And Shopify doesn't save the label you use in DYMO anywhere you can find it on your PC. Can someone help me set up Stocky. It should be easier than this. Please and thank you. Otherwise Stocky is of no use to us still.

Completely exhausted with this app. Although uninstalled, it still ads stock quantities under product "Incoming" and messes with our inventory and stock count. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling and have a set of tech guys to remove app intervention, with no luck. It's like Hotel California, you can get in anytime you want, but you can never leave.

Stocky is essentially useless for anything other than the most basic of functionality. No ability to see reports on when POs are due, no integration with Quickbooks or other accounting software, no ability to mass export or import POs, limited reporting functionality.... I could go on. It's disappointing that Shopify offers such a lackluster feature to fulfill a basic part of the retailer experience. UPDATE: They also have no workaround for multiple invoices per PO, which applies to over 70% of our orders, making their metrics for upcoming payments basically useless.

New update where you have to click edit every time to change anything on the PO is not helpful. I also do not like when you enter a new product into Shopfiy, the cost of the new product does not automatically transfer over.

Totally useless. We, as I assume most of businesses use POS on a tablet or phone. Stocky Inventory transfer does not appear to work on mobile devices. Only thing you can do is accept all products. - what if there are some products missing in the batch? You cannot accept partially or reject partially. There are buttons to reject or accept with inputs for editing the numbers of products to reject, but they are not functional. Only thing I can do on my POS mobile device is to accept all transfered products. Unable to use Stocky and I don't see any other apps that allow inventory transfer functionality. A huge issue in Shopify POS in my opinion. Please support mobile devices.

But I have been waiting for a long time for them to make basic improvements such as: - Send, make and send inventory transfers to other Branches. - Customize in more depth the functions a user can perform. - Be able to see users executed some actions. - Be able to log in with any user without having to go through the Shopify Control Panel. - and many other things that could be improved to look more professional.

We use Stocky for creating purchase orders and receiving products into our brick and mortar location. We have been waiting for improvements in the app since we started using it. Examples of easy fixes: -All PO's and Receiving Logs should have totals associated with them, if you only receive some items on a PO, Stocky keeps the PO total the same as if you received them all. This is basic spreadsheet. -Columns in purchasing and receiving should be capable of adjusting their width. Instead, you have to widen your screen to see the total on the right side- as far away from the other information as it can be. Users should be able to arrange columns in whatever size and order they need. There should be more available options for columns. -The backorders on a partially received PO look CRAZY. I look at them all the time and still don't understand what it's trying to say -The product info page is useless. Pros- Stocky is free. Cons- Apparently that means they aren't ever going to improve it. I would HAPPILY pay money to use an improved version.

This app has had the functionality that we needed and all of a sudden it no longer supports mobile devices. We have been using the app on Ipads for over a year and the latest update has killed that functionality. So annoying that we now need to find a new inventory management app. Looking at other reviews it appears that Stocky is on its way out.

Stocky itself is excellent for a small business but it lacks one major thing: integration to Shopify and POS that would enable showing when product will be in stock again. I do not understand why this has not been developed in the 4 years:(( And someone might say that Shopify inventory/ Purchase orders does provide this feature but who on earth can manually type hundred order lines without mistakes plus the time it takes..

Does some of the basics, but is far from being actively supported/developed. Want to print reports on an 8.5x11? Well you'll have to shrink down their default A4 generated reports - with no option to set another output size standard. Want to make a stock adjustment? Sure, and it even gives you the option to add notes and define the reasons - but print the report and that essential info is conveniently excluded. Want to know the total cost of items on that stock adjustment? Get ready to add them manually. Want to export vendors, perfect, easy. Want to import new vendors - sorry, no such basic luck. On top of that, vendors are paginated - so enjoy clicking 'next' over and over and over to get to the end of your vendor list. Also, did you add a vendor with a typo in the name, or are no longer using them? Sorry, can't delete the vendor, you have to 'hide' it. I could go on and on...there are SO many things which clearly show nobody "working on" this app have ever used such an app or know the first thing about inventory management/receiving. Judging by the reviews here, Stocky once had amazing support before it was acquired by Shopify. Want to talk to current support? Enjoy the AI chat bot rodeo. I'm making it work, but it leaves a LOT to be desired.

I'm sure Stocky has some great features, but the one feature we need to use almost daily has zero functionality. We are unable to print labels after receiving products. This is an extremely BASIC thing for an inventory app to do . So we have to pay $35/month for an additional app to do this for our tiny business. I spent literally 8 hours on this today and got nowhere. They can blame Dymo all they want but in my opinion once you develop an app you should maintain it. Too bad Shopify bought this app so now there are no Stocky experts on hand to help solve issues. Thank for the "free" app Shopify (it comes free with Pro POS). We were really hoping upgrading to Pro would allow us to delete a few expensive apps, but alas, Pro doesn't add functionality to anything we pay for so we are just paying even *more* for a few basic features that Pro offers like holding sales and being able to do exchanges (eyeroll).

Doesn't load on POS. I was instructed to report the bug but I don't see where to report it. When you try to use it on an iPhone or iPad, (both are using the most recent version of iOS - 17.0.3) it continually refreshes but never loads. It does work on desktop.

This is what I was told recently- " I was checking here and the newer models of DYMO Label Writer printers such as the 550 and 5XL do not work with the older DYMO Label Software. They only work with DYMO Connect for Mac, which is not compatible with Stocky as the web service was removed from the software. Note that this is a limitation from DYMO and not a decision Shopify has made." In response to shopifys reasonse below. Your technical support is the one who informed me that the Dymo printer required to use the stocky app is not compatible. Stocky all will not recognize the label attributes from the new dymo software.

I'm pretty much done with this app. I've been using it for 3 years. When I print off an in-stock inventory report any new products ordered and received have no cost listed (but the P.O. was created and received in Stocky complete with prices) I went to another report and was able to click and enter cost for the products. There was no save button and typically Stocky saves automatically. I printed a PDF and there were no costs listed despite having entered them. I "updated" and all the costs I had entered on the screen disappeared. I checked my settings and Stocky is apparently syncing with Shopify so there shouldn't be an issue as Shopify has costs entered for each product. I'll look to see if there is a Stocky specialist but it may be time to find something else.

I tried to use it and found that it did not accurately reflect low inventory counts .. many out of stock items don't even show up unless i search by the variant that i know has zero in the inventory. It is supposed to make ordering easy. Not. I uninstalled it after trying to use it for a month.

BEWARE, shopify Ruined this app by buying it. I used to pay $50 a month for Stocky before shopify bought it and it was worth it for the amazing customer service. There have been zero changes or updates, and the shopify customer service team doesn't even know how to use the app, so they can't help with anything. As others have mentioned, the forcasting feature isn't accurate. Plus there's no way to see which products are on order easily. Products are virtually impossible to edit individually- in order to update a cost I have to go into the supplier, find a product and edit. I have products that are carried by multiple distributors and have to assign each product to each distributor individually, a 7 step process per product, per distributor. suppliers --> choose supplier --> settings --> manage products --> assign products --> search --> add selected products. I miss Seb from Stocky!

A veteran user of Stocky since 2017 (when it was privately owned) it's been a vital part of our business. Although the user interface is a little dated it's highly functional and it's great and easy for raising POs for suppliers. The only downside is the forecast feature is sometimes not the most accurate needing tweaking which is most likely down to my own user settings otherwise, it's a great app, highly recommend it.

We have 8 brick and mortar locations, the app make it using for forecasting inventory needs at each of our locations, creating purchase orders based off a set criteria that you set and creating transfers between locations. It appears to be doing a good job that. I tested out the app a few years back and got frustrated with it and stopped using it. Thought I would come back and give it a try again. So far I am happy with it. However, there are some areas that need some improvement to make the app better. - I like the fact that it has a way to print barcodes based off purchase orders and stock transfers. However, it's only limited too Dymo printers. We use a Rollo at some of our locations. Would like to see more flexibility there. - When creating purchase orders and stock transfers based off suggestions, I would like to see a filter added to say "Show Minimum Re Order Stock Required". For example, ff we 1000 SKUs I don't want the purchase order or stock transfer suggestions to show me 900 SKUs that require us to order just one. It would be nice to set a minimum amount to be displayed on the purchase order or transfer such as 5 or 10 or whatever number we want. Because now, I have remove all the 900 SKUs individually by clicking the trash can icon to the right that I don't want. Or if this is not doable then add a checkbox next to all the SKUs on the purchase orders and transfers to allow me to select the 900 and hit remove. --- Also products are showing up when running the suggestions that are stocked at the location. Our team is open to working with Shopify to help make this a better app. It's a win - win for everyone.

Garbage App. Shopify buying your app is the kiss of death. Mean's you'll never see an update or bug fix ever again. Reviews are filled with bad experiences and the app is missing core functionality like being able to apply different shipping costs to the COGS. If I buy 100 feathers and 100 bricks, the shipping cost will be evenly split across 200 items and there is no way to easily custom tailor these costs. It hasn't changed for the past 3 years. No improvement. Shopify is negligent at best.

For being free(I have Pro sub) it is a great app. I used to use Inventory Planner paying over $400/month for forecasting and purchase orders. I own and operate 4 Retail Locations and Online Store. The feature to allow Creating Purchase Orders with Forecasting for individual store is a winner. I get more accurate reorders/stocking per store. I noticed this app gets a lot of flack however for my use case it is working perfectly for me.

I believe is a great tool, but when Shopify pretends that in order to have a look at a simple sales report and see the total, I have to do my own calculation excel sheet and formulas when Im paying Shopify plan + Shopify POS pro, it gets me out of my nerves. We switched to Stocky so that we wouldn't have to use different inventory systems for our website and brick and mortar. While some functionality is useful, there are some major issues. Our biggest has been that Shopify is refusing to fix a bug that makes every item show up on POs for any location, even if the item is only sold at one location. This has been immensely time-consuming and has led to us spending significantly more time on inventory management than is necessary. Buy beyond that, it was very frustrating to hear from Shopify that they're not planning to fix it at all. This clearly communicates to me that they don't actually care about our experience, and is very disappointing. I would not recommend going through the trouble of getting started with Stocky.

So, I rarely place a negative review but this time I just have to share. Months later, Shopify just doesn't seem to care to resolve the issues so time to share. Sorry in advance for the long post. I am busy just like every other shop owner out there so I am super not happy with having wasted so much time trying to set up things like the barcode scanner, label printing when receiving orders, etc. only to never have the issues resolved. Stocky has tons of potential but is VERY POORLY SUPPORTED. Don't bother asking their support for help shopify first liners have to idea it is now a shopify app (not new news) so after to argue with the agent, they ask their manager and finally they are forced to try to help you. But honestly if you spent an hour on the app you would know more than their agents. Every answer gets escalated then nothing. Sometime you get an email of instructions but no actual help beyond that.

App was working good until we had to receive a partial purchase order from a vendor. Yes, we were able to receive quantities partially, but then Stocky doesn't allow us to record this invoice of a partial purchase order. What should we do if 90% of the PO we make are received in several shipments? Also, not having a dedicated customer service team makes it a time consuming task to ask little questions.

Stocky is a work in progress. - Cost syncing isn't automatic, but that is for the sake of flexibility in your accounting. The manual syncs are good enough. - "Incoming inventory" in Shopify does not acknowledge incoming Stocky purchase orders with an estimated receiving date. At time of writing this is an impossible feature request because there is no API available to perform the update. - Shopify support staff are not familiar with Stocky. It's getting better as time goes on, but at the time of writing it's still not perfect. Just read the documentation. - Stocky & Shopify tax rules for products don't sync. - Stocktakes (i.e. inventory counts) are treated exactly like purchase orders. Some will like it, some won't. I wish there was better barcode scanner support. Perhaps this is a criticism of Shopify rather than Stocky. You have to read the documentation to get value out of this app. Ultimately it's worth it.

Item Costs still don't sync with shopify automatically.. Are we living in the year 2000? Purchase order creation could be so much better, faster, and smarter. Why did they buy a company if they weren't going to do anything with it? Very disappointed plus customer. Old Review Could be much better.. Needs to be integrated with shopify as core, not just an app. Cost of items don't automatically sync. You have to manually click a button to sync, which makes all your profit reports useless. Also, need fields like item location to sync over to shopify. Lots of wasted time, by flipping between shopify and stocky.

I'm still not sure if Stocky and Shopify communicate regarding Transfers. Right now we're ordering out of Stocky as it provides great suggestions based on lead times and sell-through, really like that. It also shows outstanding orders that we've recently placed. But when we receive stock we 'transfer it in' in Shopify. Not Stocky. So does Stocky at any point know what we've received, or does it just use the adjusted inventory level we now have in Shopify? However that would then mean that over time the 'open orders' number increases indefinitely as Stocky does not know which ones of those are fulfilled by now. Are we expected to receive product in Stocky and in Shopify manually to have an accurate and integrated system? Thanks, Evert

I do not recommend this application at all! It has a very long way to go before it will be an efficient inventory management application. You have to upload your products into shopify but the costs don't sync. You have to manually do that so none of your reporting is accurate, and you can only do this step once a day. It is not user friendly like the video above presents. You have to toggle back and forth between stocky and shopify to make it work. The shopify retail support told me to just enter my costs and other details into both stocky and shopify dashboard. What is the point of having this application if I have to do that? Barcodes are not made in this application, you have to go to the shopify dashboard and search out the items and then tell it to create the barcodes. Not effective at all.

This app is very flexible in some ways (i.e. case sizes for POs, changing which elements are shown on the PO when you're creating it versus sending it to your supplier). However, we are struggling with accurate Average Unit Costs for our Bundles, which we created in the Bundles app that is officially compatible with Stocky. The Average Unit Cost for the bundle is supposed to be "based on the bundled variants", however the Average Unit Cost will not update, no matter how I change the individual bundled variants' costs (e.g. receiving POs, directly changing costs, etc.)

Stocky can't be used to calculate the true cost of a product or stock on hand if you import products from overseas or have goods which exclude and others which include GST as they include GST in their calculations. Merchants should be providing their accountant with the cost of goods on hand ex GST in order to calculate true monthly profits and margins, however this can not be done using stocky. I am surprised of this oversight given that shopify is marketing it as an "advanced inventory system". I have updated this review to one star as stocky has also duplicated syncing purchase orders, thereby receipting stock twice. Shopify have advised that it is "unproductive" to notify merchants of this known issue. This means that you must check each SKU in the purchase order to make sure this doesn't happen as stocky is not identifying this issue. This is really important so you can make sure you have adequate stock as when this issue does occur stock is overstated.

Shopify support has no idea how any of the functionality works and some members of the support team aren't even aware that it's now owned by Shopify. Why isn't there a support team dedicated to learning this app? I'm not sure why Shopify bothered purchasing it.

UPDATE: FEB 2021: I had to update this review to reflect the fact that I tried another inventory and sticker printing app, and while it was alright, it just wasn't the same as the original Stocky. So, I ended up coming back and trying Stocky again. I'm happy to report that it seems improvements have been made to the way in which the app functions but also to the information provided with the app. I still run into problems getting the app to recognize my Dymo printer from time to time. If that gets resolved I'll be back at a five star review. Just wanted to be fair and let anyone who reads this know that things have gotten better. UPDATE: DEC 2019: I am incredibly disappointed. See, the developer of this app is amazing. Unfortunately, when Shopify bought this app from him, my love for the app quickly went south. For the last month the app has shown a notice that it is syncing. It has not allowed us to update photos, and printing barcode labels has become a serious problem. I uninstalled the app thinking that perhaps that might help - and thinking that the date would all remain in the system as the notice at the uninstall said info would stay for 48 hours. However, when I reinstalled the app just a few minutes later my purchase orders, Dymo label template, and suppliers were all GONE. NOT HAPPY. I love Shopify, but the response I've gotten to requests for help have been underwhelming to say the least. I would just caution anyone thinking about installing this app. The original app and its developer were stellar. Not so now. DEC 2018: Seldom do you find an app that is TRULY helpful with a developer who is awesomely responsive, and also TRULY helpful! This app is all of that! Nice application for keeping track of orders. Here's what it's missing: 1) custom low inventory level alerts (ex. when widgetA reaches 5, send alert) 2) can't tell the application to ignore certain products, therefore a list of x number of useless items appears on my 're-order' list and it takes more time to sift through this list than it does to go to my physical shelves with a pencil and clipboard to prepare an order. 3) doesn't understand that a product can be purchased from multiple vendors, the only way I can order 'product Y' is if I'm ordering from the specfic vendor that the product is assigned to, otherwise I have to login to Shopify, edit the product and reassign the vendor, go back into stocky, refresh and add the item. Why can't I simply search from the list of all my products when I'm creating an order?? The application is VERY USEFUL once the order is in queue though. I can easily see what is on backorder and it adjusts my inventory levels VERY EASILY once I recieve an order with packing slip. Please, someone tell me which application can do what I need, I'm so tired of combing through 30+ applications to find an inventory app that can perform basic functions! Just FYI, VEND includes all of these basic inventory functions free, with their POS... come on Shopify!!

UPDATE ON 14/02/2020 It's unbelievable. They really do not care at all about this app. We talked to a shopify teammemeber a while ago who stated the app is free. So we decided to use it only to realize that we installed it two weeks too late. So it is not free any more but comes only with the POS (which is useless for us and many others). Anyway we decided to pay for POS and it's not cheap to use this app. It would be really ok if the app would be ok but it is not at all! Some weeks ago purchase order email attachments (CSV files) simply stopped working. The product pictures in the purchase orders are still not right on options. There is no way you can export your supplier SKUs to check them. It is horrible difficult to set the minimum order qty, there is not a single automated thing in this app... thinking about automatic purchase orders when for example the amout reached a limit or some articles are sold out? not at all with this app... it's just a simple and static app not doing something you could not achieve with a simple import to your qty... we now look for another ERP because for this price you get AI powered ERP Apps which outperform this App in any case. Sry shopify this is the wrong direction... --------------- At this time the app is not usable as an ERP app! Want to know why? Here are only some of many important functions missing: 1) Want to import a purchase order via CSV - NO! The function is there but it can only import the qty by SKU (which is the shopify SKU), barcode code or shopify ID. It can NOT import the purchase order by the "supplier SKU" - that's a 100% no go! 2. There is 0,0% automatization in this app. For example you want a purchase order to be created automatically for example if five products have reached a certain low stock number an the order total amount is over 2.000 USD - no way. There is 0.0% automatisation here - you have to create all order by hand. Thats maybe ok for the year 2000 - in 2020 this is not a discussion! 3. Want to send the purchase order Emails cc) to make shure they went out to the partner? No way here - with this app it is just not possible. 4. Want to have pictures in the purchase order PDF - great! there is an option for this but it does not work so the final PDF includes a blank row "pictures". . . . It hink i could go on here for another 100 points --- and theses are basics and not fancy stuff points! // UPDATE 14.12.2020 It seems that there is no really consistent development here on this app... bugs are not solved in days or weeks but maybe some month... no or very little new things are introduced! Not really happy and i think we move to another ERP as this one is now about 90 USD.... totally overpriced for what it is.

It works fairly well for purchases, though it took me a minute to sort out how to do drop ship POs vs stock purchases. My major issue is that it doesn't sync with my accounting software so I duplicate loads of work every week recreating invoices in Xero. Please build an integration!!

We used this app extensively for nearly a year. We invested a ton of time and resources in Stocky. It has helped our business save time, send out POs (we send out about 100 a month,) plan for the future, etc... Then guess what, we got locked out without a warning. After several frustrating days with Shopify Customer Service, we find out we have to upgrade to their POS Pro plan to continue using Stocky. Well, we don't have a physical store, so none of that plan fits our needs except Stocky. Honestly, they just want us to pay them $89 a month to continue using a tool we were using free for nearly a year. Really, what Shopify did was set us back as they took it from us right before the busiest time of the year (Holiday Season.) We had ZERO time to transition to one of the sub-par alternatives. Shopify cost me over 100 hours of manual labor, something Stocky could have done in 6 hours. Thanks, Shopify.

Shopify/Stocky has allowed us to go online when we needed it most - but the bricks and mortar side of things could use some improvement. Having to enter product information (cost price etc) in both Shopify and Stocky is redundant and with larger purchase orders uses up valuable time. There needs to be more integration between the two platforms. Time is precious these days! We value this platform and know it can only get better - hopefully this feedback can make for more improvement in the future.

Stocky is a waste of time. Too much in and out of app when new products are continuously added. If I only carried nuts and bolts it would be a different story. My store is very seasonal and new products are arriving every day. I very seldom reorder the same thing twice as many times my vendors are sold out.

I have used this app since switching to Shopify in January 2020. I find it quite frustrating and not very intuitive to use. There is lots of duplicate effort required between Stocky and Shopify, they could do MUCH better. Even as simple as putting the cursor in a field selected when a window pops up. Windows disappear if an item is not found in a search and you have to start over. The small things that waste time add up in a hurry when you are adding lots of seasonal products. It would be fine if you only had to add new items occasionally, but our inventory is always changing. Also, no integration with accounting software is so frustrating. Shopify really needs to look at the whole picture of small business, retail, online, accounting, and offer a complete integrated system without all the 3rd party apps.

I've been using Stock for nearly a year and it's been vital in managing my stock levels, identifying products which need to be put on sale and which need reordering. It massively reduces my admin time. I'd like for it to show a stock level vs time chart for products (it currently only shows sales/time) so that I can more accurately allow for the effects of a product being out of stock for a period of time (as happens a lot as many of my suppliers have very long lead times), but hopefully that will be something that comes in the future. It makes it super easy to reorder from each supplier and track incoming stock. I'd very much recommend it, especially it's free!

I run a brick and mortar hobby shop and almost exclusively use Shopify and Stocky for that purpose. I ended up selecting Shopify POS primarily because of Stocky. I have thousands of SKU's that I knew I was going to need help managing reordering. Stocky has done a phenomenal job of this. I do have a wish list and some complaints that you will see echoed with some of the less favorable reviews, but the value that Stocky adds to my business offsets the complaints enough to still warrant 5 stars. -The ability to sync cost between Shopify and Stocky would be really nice to have -It's kind of a bummer that it's now only available with POS Pro -Removing products that I no longer want to be reordered from automatically appearing on the generated purchase orders is kind of a tedious process To summarize, Stocky has been essential to my business' success by making it easy to manage my inventory. I have been able to keep products in stock in a way that would not be possible without this app.

I have been using Stocky for a while and everything was okay but I had to upgrade to Shopify POS to continue using it, so I did it, but then I wasn't able to get into the stocky app because supposedly I did not have Shopify POS Pro (I do) so I uninstalled Stocky and tried to install it again and I get this error (We're sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.) So now I paid for the POS Pro because this app, and I am unable to even install it. Thankfully the support service is quick and helpful as I am now able to use it without any trouble.

Stocky wouldn't sync with Shopify beyond the product quantity. A product I deleted in Shopify would stay in Stocky, etc. If I changed a SKU or barcode, Stocky wouldn't update it. My store has a lot of products - maybe that was the reason? But the support reps were mostly useless. Most of them would just search the documentation and read it to me, which was not helpful. They had no actual knowledge of the app. More than one of them told me "to contact the developers of the app" - completely unaware that Shopify owned it!

POSHBABY.COM - This App is SO CLOSE to being really really good. I'm still in the initial "testing phase" but seeing some easy but valuable things that I wish it had or I can't find and hope they do :). How/can you have open purchase order items show up on the inventory items page in Shopify as INCOMING? It seems if an item is on order, it should show as INCOMING. This is critical to have for staff to be aware of what we have coming and not have to go and search every open PO from a vendor. A way to remove the “default” text from a purchase order that has no variant. Can you print the PO and not have to download it first? In the SALES ORDER page in Stocky, can we edit what information is seen? Would be nice to have Customers Name and Order "Tag" there, or be able to see the order when you hover. PLEASE find a way to have PO Receiving Vouchers/Receipts work with the Webgility App as store sales do so it can be automated and pushed to Quickbooks or whatever software one uses for their accounting, thus removing the manual data entry that you have to do now. Wish there was a way to "spread freight" when receiving a purchase order so that cost and be included in the true cost of an item, but not affect the "Purchase" cost. If these can be done, I think it would give it a 5 star, for my needs. Thank you!

UPDATE BELOW MY ORIGINAL FEEDBACK - The app has so much potential...but, Shopify is NOT supporting it at all and basic functionality is broken. I knew that going into it, but took many of the critical reviews as essentially user-error from shop owners who expected Stocky to have unreasonable functionality or workflows. After trying to work with it for a couple of months, i owe those shop owners an apology. This app might work at the most rudimentary levels...but literally ANYTHING more than that, it doesn't work and Shopify is not supporting this AT ALL. Don't bother emailing support. They reply with "we will escalate your ticket" and then later "we have already escalated this ticket"...there is never a meaningful reply. Keep looking for other inventory options. Mark my words! UPDATE - Seb, the original developer of the Stocky app, reached out to us personally via email to dig into our issues. It ended up being a simple error with the way we had the products configured in the Bundles app (necessary for the Stocky app to work) that was causing Stocky to not work properly. After a few emails and some simple changes...Stocky seems to be working as expected. I can't speak on the app itself yet, but Seb has redeemed the service side of this app to us. 4 stars for now on the app. If it works well...i'll come back and do another update.

Stocky is brilliant in so many ways, but DO NOT download this app until they have the support team in place to be able to troubleshoot properly. Since Shopify bought this app from the original developer support is appalling. I am SO frustrated. The only reason I moved to Shopify POS Pro was to make sure our stock levels could be kept accurate, but on our first ever full stocktake, which took 14 hours, we ran into an issue when we tried to process it with barcode stocktakes not calculating adjustments. I have been through 4 different support tickets since the 16th September, with no more updates, no more help and no resolution. Our stock levels are wrong, customers are ordering what we don't have, what we do have is marked as OOS - it's a shambles. We can't even run a new stocktake to put things right until the error is solved. Keeping accurate inventory is the 101 of running a store, and is Stocky's whole purpose. If it can't even do that it's pointless. I've loved Shopify - all my web queries have always been solved quickly, but Shopify... don't expand to Bricks & Mortar POS unless you have the expertise to back it up. So wish I could talk to the original developer.

This app is a great app, I love it. I am only giving it a one start because Shopify feel only people that have POS Pro should have it. I want to use it for my purchase ordering, if I would like to continue using it I have to pay $89 to upgrade to POS Pro which is useless to me as I do not have a shop. I'd be happy to upgrade Shopify as I would use the additional functions. But as it stands their pricing is a rip-off!!

I tried to do an inventory count for our store using stocky. It went relatively smoothly which was great. Only issue is that after I had completed the count and performed the stock adjustment it did not correctly adjust and now I have a whole bunch of negatives in my inventory I am going to have to adjust? Has anyone had a similar experience? Is there an easy/ efficient way of correcting this issue? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I'm now very frustrated with this app. Stocky Failed to Sync and was stuck in syncing mode for over 1 week. I reached out to support who advised me that initial syncs could sometimes stick. I explained that this wasn't my initial sync, I've had almost 500 purchase orders. I was then told to uninstall/delete the app and reinstall it. Sounded like a bad idea to me. I reached out to Support again to confirm, who directed me to the original Shopify team member, who assured me that nothing would be lost. Stocky still didn't sync...and I received no further interaction from Shopify Support. I then ran through the steps again, and finally had a successful sync. But...my 2 years worth of purchase orders, my preferences, my vendor minimums, and my supplier case packs are all gone. I'm starting over. I reached out to support again...now 3 additional emails and have still not received any communication from POS Support. In addition, I found that inventory quanitities (when viewing line items in the drop down menu) are no longer visible. So...let's say you create a purchase order for Fall, but want to check your current inventory counts to see if something didn't fall into the purchase order re-order parameters, but might be right on the cusp of needing a re-order...let's say orange food coloring for Halloween or orange Sweaters for fall, I now have to leave the app to see my inventory counts and then go back to the app to add a line item??? I used to be able to just visually scroll down the list of items from the vendor in the dropdown and see immediately which ones were a little lower than I wanted them to be. The *generate based on "same period as last year" functionality has not worked, and so I've been doing a visual review of my line items from the app to quickly determine if I need to add something that Stocky hasn't. It has been 11 days since I contacted support. I miss Seb. On top of all of this, I'm reading reviews and see very clearly a response to someone who deleted the app in order to fix their issues and find this : "Hi there - I'm very sorry to hear of the poor experience that you have had hear & would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this process. When Stocky is removed from an account, any transient data such as PO's etc. is removed and needs to be re-added manually - I understand that this was your experience and I hear you on that. We've been using it for almost a year now, with consistently excellent results. When you re-order merchandise weekly, an inventory control and purchase ordering system is a must. Now instead of filling our shelves with mediocre product, we are able to reorder top sellers. We are able to identify slow moving stock for clearancing. We are able to identify price changes from the manufacturer and immediately adjust retails to achieve an ideal profit margin. There are so many features, and we've really only investigated about one third of what Stocky has to offer. We have had 3 minor hiccups. Support (Seb) immediately researched our issues and found resolutions. 1 of the issues was user error and employee re-training was implemented. 1 of the issues was related to interface issues...which Seb researched AND implemented a change for all to make that interface more obvious! Nicely done. The last issue was actually a Shopify hiccup. So of the 3 issues, ALL were researched by Seb and support, and the one issue directly related to Stocky was corrected due to our feedback. Thank you Seb. We tried a couple of inventory control, purchase ordering apps, but by far, Stocky outshined the others. The monthly price is a bargain compared to the many features of Stocky. I have been really trying with this app only to find that both my purchase order and stocktake aren't syncing properly and lots of embarrassing out of stock are showing on my website , but they are in stock and we know we have put them thru a purchase order. we even trying doing a stocktake to fix. This app only tracks inventory available for sale. It does not also provide a count of stock physically on hand. This means that if you have, for example, 5 t-shirts on the shelf, and someone orders 1, the stock count will now show as 4. However, seeing as you haven't fulfilled this order yet, you still have 5 shirts on the shelf, and your stock on hand count should be 5, while the stock available is 4. if you go and do a stocktake under these circumstances, you will count that you have 5 shirts, while Stocky says you should only have four. If you "correct" this discrepancy, you are now actually making your stock count incorrect. While this isn't a huge deal with only one product, if you have many SKUs, and a large order volume, it is essentially impossible to do a stocktake correctly. Until Stocky creates the ability to track both stock available as well as stock on hand (something that Tradegecko does while integrated with my Shopify store with no problem), Stocky is basically useless.

Been trying to use this app for about a year to manage my inventory for two physical stores and my online store. Very difficult to use the Purchase Order feature for my entire business. The app only allows POs for each store independently of each other. I have tried calling for help through Shopify, but hard to find anyone with expertise. I can view all my inventory on one screen, so why can’t the app be able to do a PO for all of the inventory? Doesn’t make sense.

We are about to uninstall this app. Do not use it if you are running a professional shop. We exported our master inventory from our main shop and uploaded it to our second shop. We manually cross checked all inventory to make sure it matched when we installed this app. All products were set to "do not sell when out of stock." Unfortunately the app completely messed up the count between our two shops and allowed overselling of products. Tech support has tried to blame us without acknowledging the bug in the app or trying to resolve the issue. Save yourself the pain we are dealing with. Do not use this app.

Hi Guys, I am so saddened to write this review as this app and support was second to none on Shopify. Unfortunately now that it has been sold and Seb is no longer supporting it, basic functionality is no longer working like stock takes and stock adjustments if you have a large amount of SKU's, so after a year of working with this system we will be back to the drawing board to find another inventory system that can just track inventory in multiple locations with the Shopify platform. I have been trying to work this out with the new support team to no avail for the last few months.

The deeper I go in to this app, the more I love it. After first installing Stocky, I could tell it was powerful - but it was a bit overwhelming (even for me, a guy who has built Shopify apps!). Stocky does so many great things for us. It helps us forecast our inventory, telling us exactly when to reorder and how much to reorder. It helps us easily see our best sellers and even our slowest moving inventory to focus on. It also allows us to easily track our purchase orders - this factors in to our forecasting and also helps us make sure we're receiving the quantity we ordered for each variant - PLUS it then syncs up the inventory in to Shopify. After taking it slow for the first month or two, we're really starting to realize how powerful it is and how much money it can help us save. Great app!

I have uninstalled it - perhaps I needed to spend more time trying to figure it out, but I found it hard to navigate, hard to get basic reports from, and not suitable for our use. I suspect it's better for a bigger store than ours, but there wasn't much in it I couldn't get from Shopify already. We have used Stocky for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. It does what it needs and keeps the process as simple as possible. One of my favourite tools is that it allows stock to go into negative (a lot of inventory tools don't allow this). Whilst this might horrify an accountant, we have a lot of pre-sales and need to be able to sell items that are not yet in stock. Last month we migrated from a very powerful platform to Shopify and I was worried about inventory management as this is something Shopify doesn't have built in. ShippingEasy didn't have enough features, Stitch Labs was a total disaster, and Ordoro was a bit too confusing for us to use. Stocky is great! Works just like you'd want an inventory app to use, EXTREMELY responsive developer, and pretty pain free. It could use some styling, and isn't the most intuitive thing ever. But, like I said, it gets the job done right. Highly recommend!

This is one of the most useful Shopify apps we have encountered, and well worth the price. First, some background: My company is a long-established multi-million dollar company. We ran for about 15 years on our own internally developed code before recently switching to "Shopify Plus" (Shopify's $2000+ per month option). There was a time in the not too far distant past when the only thing my company relied on an ISP for was for the pipe to the internet. We did *everything* ourselves, including maintaining and supporting our own DNS servers, email servers, website, and much more. Besides having developed our own website code that generated over $50M gross revenue during it’s lifetime, we had many internal R&D projects targeted to replace, one-by-one, our internal servers. Some of our website R&D projects included an experimental Magento site, and other sites, each of which were being evaluated as to their feasibility of replacing our internally-developed site. In other words, my company has a considerable amount of internal expertise on websites and website development. Thus, I think we are *very* qualified to provide a useful opinion on Stocky. And as I mentioned above, Stocky is one of the most useful Shopify apps we have encountered, and well worth the price. For any 3rd party Shopify app, you also need to consider the stability of the vendor before coming to rely on the app. The gravity of this consideration will vary in direct proportion to how easy it would be to replace (with something else) the functions provided by the app, weighed against the cost of the app, as well as the perceived stability of the vendor of the app. Without going into a huge amount of detail on how this evaluation was done with the Stocky app, suffice it to say that we have concluded that Stocky was a “must have” app. It passed our tests in this area. I know Stocky has an overwhelming variety of features, but if you install it and then focus on only the three features I describe below, it will be *well* worth the money. Then you can investigate the other features as additional "gravy" as you move forward. These features also pretty much require that you load COGS data into Stocky. For us, this was trivial, as we had the data in our legacy (in-house developed) site, and it was trivial to write a bit of code in our legacy site to write out a CSV file with this data, which was subsequently slurped up into Stocky. There are many other ways to accomplish this as well, depending on your own circumstances, but you really need to record the costs of your products to make proper use of Stocky. Without COGS data, you are flying blind. And Shopify, out of the box, does not store COGS data. You need a 3rd part app for that. The three important features I think you should use first with Stocky are these: 1. Click the "Statistics" tab on the Dashboard. All of the statistics shown are very useful, but for us probably the most useful one is: “Total stock on hand at cost price”. This is a number that needs to be brought over to any accounting system (we use Quickbooks). I know of Shopify store owners that just SWAG (“Scientific” Wild-Arse Guess) this number, but I don’t think the IRS is going to accept SWAG'd numbers for any but the smallest of stores. 2. Click “Sale Items” on the Dashboard. This report is the equivalent of our old “Dead Stock” report in our old legacy website. This report shows days of stock on hand for all of your products, and you can filter those products in a very wide variety of ways. By looking at the top of the report, and can know what you are overstocked on (thus identifying products to put on sale), and you can look at the end of the report to know what needs to be restocked. 3. Stocky has a number of “Profit” reports that are extremely useful. As I write this, though, the profit reporting is beta, and not available on any normal Stocky menu. You must request the URL for it. But do so. It is worth it— even if Beta. But also be aware that this part of Stocky *is* beta! If you just use the above 3 functions, you will be richly rewarded for the price you pay for Stocky, in all but the smallest of Shopify stores. Yes, very small stores probably do not need Stocky— and I am not exactly sure where to draw the line. Basically, though, when a store expands to more than a couple of dozen products, you probably need Stocky. And if you have hundreds of products, you *definitely* need Stocky. This app has been extremely beneficial to my company. It generates beautiful Purchase Orders with the layout easy for vendors/suppliers to understand and process quickly. The integration with my store has been flawless and has never given me a problem. Utilizing this app has literally saved me about 50 hours per week processing orders. We're barely scratching the surface of what this app can do because we primarily use it to identify our slow sellers are. We find it very helpful to do a daily report from the sale section on what items are slow in order of quantity. Our sales team can then focus on clearing them. It's worth it for that alone. There are lots of other features such as purchase order suggestions and brand performance that we're keen to get into next. Also the development team are accessible and friendly and have a genuine desire to connect with their customers. I definitely recommend it.

Mondays used to be "inventory day" and we'd go through formulas on spreadsheets and integrate them with reports from different places and manually prepare POs in Excel. The whole process took all day Monday and sometimes all day Tuesday, too. Now, every day is inventory day with Stocky. We can glance at it and see what we need, where there's a trend, what we've got coming. It has most of what was on our wish list plus some things we hadn't thought of. The few things that we've expressed a desire for, they've added pretty quickly or promised to work on it. One of the best parts of Stocky has been the responsive support. Our rep always seems to grasp what we need and answer us fairly quickly. I can't speak for all the staff, but we really enjoy working with our rep. If you really want to organize your stock and streamline your supply chain ordering and tracking, I highly recommend giving Stocky a chance to whip you into shape. I don't think you'll ever want to go back.

Stocky has helped me beyond measure. The feature that you can go to a vendor, click generate PO, tell it how far out you want to go and it automatically generates everything is awesome. But NOTHING has saved my business like the "current Cost of Goods Sold" report has done. It has single handedly helped me and my accountant find pitfalls of what was going on. The only thing I could suggest as a feature/improvement. When selecting a vendor and telling the system to generate the PO, can we somehow tell the system to generate a large enough PO to be over a certain amount of money? I say this because I have some suppliers who have free shipping if I order over $500.00 for example. That isn't that common, so I totally understand if that is not possible. Again, this app has saved me from ordering a whole bunch of inventory and just looking at it on my shelves to making sure my perishable dog treats are always fresh on the shelves and my customers and the human ones too, love it. Can't say enough good things about this app. thank you so much! The hardest part about this app is "relax...stocky will tell you when you need to order stuff...don't freak out and start ordering a crap ton of product just because you are getting "close"" LOL Just relax, Stocky has this....that should be your new motto. ----------------------------------------------------------------- New Update: It is still the best thing in the world. I have spent a year or so trying to find a stock inventory management system that works for products that both drop ship and ship in store. I've installed systems that cost $250 USD a month and spent countless hours setting it up. None of them worked, up until now. Stocky is so simple to use and it does what I need it to do. Customer service was amazing. Seb is fantastic and works tirelessly. I was messaging him questions and he would respond even though it was midnight his time. I can't recommend Stocky highly enough and the support we received is superb.

For stores that have thousands of products and hundreds of vendors, this app will save you time and money and grey hair. It gives visibility to stock demand, and has a very capable PO system. Seb is very quick to respond and you can tell he's keen to meet customer's needs when it's possible. Wish list: Product bin/location baked-in, but I think that's coming as Stocky adopt Shopify's 2017 newly announced features. Integration with Transfers, also coming soon? Stocktaking by location, which is dependent on having location as a data point of course.

After struggling for 8 months with Tradegecko and other apps to try to manage my inventory, I am absolutely thrilled that a Shopify tech (Kenneth) recommended Stocky to me. Not only am I saving money, but Stocky is very intuitive to use and the tech support is insanely spot on. As other reviewers have mentioned, Seb is EXCELLENT at getting right back to you with any questions you might have, knows how to handle your issues, and is flexible enough to be able to make changes on the fly specifically for you. What more could you ask for in an app? This is an app that is worth every penny and will surely continue to grow in popularity and will likely become the one app that all Shopify users will use to manage their inventory. I couldn't be more pleased and look forward to being able to more easily handle my inventory. Unlike Tradegecko, I'm no longer trying to manage two databases, even though the whole point of Tradegecko was to seamlessly integrate Shopify with their inventory program. No more going back and forth trying to make sure every box is ticked between the two. Stocky syncs your Shopify inventory and makes it a breeze to see exactly what you have on hand, what you need to order, as well as helping you to figure out which products you should be reordering more of and which you might consider ditching. Reorder reports and purchase orders are extremely simple to manage from reorder to receiving. You can easily export .csv files to Excel or send as a pdf. Stock take has also been an issue with Shopify and it looks like Stocky's version is going to work perfectly. I've only dipped my toe in the water here, and I know I'm nowhere near covering what this app can do, but I can say that already I am pleased and confident that Stocky and Seb are going to make this work for us. I could bore you with the details about how much time and money Tradegecko has lost us over the past 8 months (especially with the worst tech support I have ever dealt with), but other than to warn you not to use the program, that would simply be a waste of time here when the focus is on how awesome Stocky is. I asked about two things that I thought would be very helpful to me, barcode integration (esp. for stock take) and photos for purchase orders (with 3000+ items, seeing the item makes it much easier to make purchasing decisions) and was told these were coming soon. This guy is straight up honest and straight forward, so I have no doubt that when he says it's happening, it is. Thanks for offering a great product. Keep up the amazing work, Seb! UPDATE: I'm still in the trial period of this app, and I wanted to mention that Seb added the photos to purchase orders already! We've been using the product for a few weeks now and honestly, it works so smoothly I am so sorry I didn't find it sooner. UPDATE March 2017: After seven months of use I feel compelled to update because I can't express enough how seamlessly this app has worked for us in handling both our brick and mortar and our Shopify website. From purchase orders to stocktake, it's worked perfectly for our needs. Not recommended. Issues: 1. Can't export to excel. I don't know any supplier that takes orders in PDF. Try negotiating prices for hundreds of items in a PDF purchase order. 2. Can't include images 3. Can't change product name or variant name 4. To import cost you need to send an email to them with your price list. Really? 5. SKUs we use are different than SKU used by supplier, there's no field for that. 6. It grades products with A,B,C but it doesn't say anywhere what's an A, B or C 7. Calculations are incorrect. If num in stock is 2 and quantity needed is 7, then quantity to order is 5 not 7. Does not fulfill the purpose of helping with purchase orders in any way.

If you have a retail business and purchase products from multiple suppliers, have products that you need to keep track of Cost, Supplier reorder numbers, and/or print price labels for store, you need STOCKY. This is the most needed and the best App for Shopify. I nearly didn't sign up with Shopify because it was missing a few key functions that’s essential for retail shops, such as Purchase Orders and inventory management, Product Cost, printing price labels, etc. I initially signed up with another stock management program (which monthly subscription fees were x5 times of Stocky’s fees) in order to convert to Shopify because Shopify was missing the above essential functions. However, the other program was very cumbersome and time consuming to use (took weeks to just set it up), it was just the worst nightmare. I also tried multiple barcode label printing Apps, and none of them was practical. STOCKY lets you create purchase orders using your SKU and/supplier’s reorder codes and email it directly (it keeps suppliers details), you can set minimum order qty for each item, it generates a suggested PO based on your sales, receive inventory against your PO (both fully or partially), print barcode/price labels for received inventory (you don’t have to do it individually like some other barcode label printing Apps), track payment for PO, Stock take, run reports on sales, etc. It really covers all the key functions that Shopify is missing. On top of all of this, Seb also provides the best customer service anyone can ever ask for. It is every dollar worth it and more. The only suggestions for future improvement are: 1. Show product images on PO (I have over 7,000 SKU so it’s hard to remember every SKU by name)- Seb already said this is coming soon, 2. Barcode printing – better integration with barcode printers (I use Dymo label printer and you need to export a CSV file for labels and import it into Dymo to print). It would be great to just press a couple of buttons and print labels without export/import CSV files (Compared to other existing label printing Apps, Stocky is still way better). 3. Since it already has a platform to feed SOH information to/from Shopify, perhaps it might be possible to integrate with other sales channels such as Amazon, etc. Then Stocky can really take over the stock management market as it’s already a superior program than the other expensive multi sales channel stock management Apps. In summary, this is a must-have App for any retail store, and Shopify should really buy this program and build it in to Shopify.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this app. The developers are hungry to improve and have acted on every single suggestion I have made in record time. The app works seamlessly - and is much better than using accounts packages to manage purchase orders. All we need now is for shopify to hurry up and release the API for transfers and they have promised to integrate with that too. Add to it their app in development to help with stock takes and this product is 100% the missing link in Shopify. Worth every single penny and more - could not manage the shop without it.

Stocky has paid for itself many times over, both in terms of having a very intuitive dashboard which allows us to easily see what we need to reorder, but then also making this process so much easier by downloading suggested reorders into purchase orders which are emailed to suppliers and then which automatically update the Shopify inventory. This app also allows us to track stock that is nearing expiry or obsolescence dates, which is a function that Seb added on our request - amazing and very responsive customer service! Very happy customer and cannot rate Stocky highly enough for any store that wants to better manage their inventory and streamline their reordering processes. For a store that has over 500 variants, this app probably saves us 30 hours per month and the value in getting our purchase orders right is probably multiples of that again.

Fantastic product and best support of any app - and I have a lot of them. I needed an app that would allow me to see the cost of my Shopify inventory. I also needed a way to view low stock SKUs so that I could place reorders. Stocky does both of these things well and goes a big step farther for both. For inventory cost, it keeps historic info, something only much more expensive apps will do. For reordering, it creates a PO for me (based on stock on hand, recent sales and lead time) and then when I receive the goods, I just hit a button and all of my Shopify inventory gets updated - huge time savings for both. For service, I can't say enough about Seb and his team, they not only get back to me very quickly, but they have implemented many ideas that I suggested - some in less than 24 hours. Great job!

I had struggled along with another inventory management app for a long time before I found "Stocky". I have never before received such prompt and helpful advice from any app developer. Although no app is perfect, I have found that whenever I have questions about features or improvements, Seb always responds quickly and more often than not is able to make improvements to accommodate my needs. The level of customer support from Seb at StockyHQ is nothing short of awesome. Like many other stores I have tried a bunch of inventory apps ranging from Stitch Labs to random apps online. This is by far the best I have come across and at the price per month it's also the best value for money. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Not only this the support is unreal. Very fast, on the ball and quick to identify solutions to any problem you describe. They are also willing to add features (within reason) something I asked Stitch Labs to do but alas no joy. Oh and for those that have been searching high and low for an inventory app that shows you your current stock on hand value, this one does :D Seb your a diamond thanks for all the help setting things up. Great app! It syncs well with Shopify and keeps everything up to date. We do not use the forecasting option, but rather put in our own manual "low inventory" levels. We do this so we can set our own levels and accommodate for seasonal items or make sure we have more in stock for the holiday season. It was very hard to find an app that would allow us to do this option manually, and not just use the automated forecasting. Let me give a quick explanation on how to do it with Stocky, because it took a lot of experimenting and communication with Seb for us to get it figured out. Go into Vendor, Settings, Adjust P.O. Limits. Then we adjusted the "Max Level" on a certain product to 3 for example. What this does, is any time the quantity of that variant drops below 3, it will put it on the P.O. for that vendor automatically. What you have to do next is create a P.O. and choose the option to leave it blank and not use the suggested forecasting. Once your blank P.O. is created, simply choose "fill shelves" under forecast type and then click regenerate. It not places all of your low stock items on the P.O. for ordering. This saves us a bunch of time counting inventory and deciding what to reorder. I personally think this should be included in the structure of Shopify for all customers, but I am just happy that we found an app to make it work. Hope this helps.

Stocky is exactly what we have been missing in Shopify. The suggested orders are almost always spot on which helps us plan our orders. But the best thing is the Purchase Order system. It gives us the control and overview we need. And the most time-saving feature is that when receiving an order it syncs the inventory in Shopify - AWESOME!
