I appreciate that my customers can choose a delivery or pick up time that I have previously set out. It makes it so much easier then having to connect with each customer. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after months of using this app, I feel it's important to share my experience for other small business owners. I purchased this app hoping it would reduce manual work and make order management easier. Unfortunately, it has had the opposite effect. (Not a lie) Every single time I open my website for a launch, I run into critical issues. Order details in the dashboard appear incorrectly or inconsistently, and the maximum order limit frequently fails to work, allowing customers to place more orders than my business can realistically fulfil. As a small business, these problems have a real impact. Every time an issue occurs, I have to close my website, spend hours investigating the problem, respond to worried customers, and manually fix orders instead of focusing on and running my business. Support has always told me that the issue has been fixed, but in my experience it either returns during the next launch or a new problem appears instead. I've lost count of how many times this cycle has repeated. The most disappointing part is that I invested in this app to save time and reduce stress. Instead, it has created more work, more customer service, and more uncertainty. If you're considering this app because you want to automate your operations and make your business easier to manage, I would strongly advise thinking twice. Reliability is essential for order management, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I genuinely wanted this app to work, but it has ended up costing me far more time and effort than it has ever saved. ---------------------------------------------------------------_ Thank you for your response. I'd like to clarify a couple of points for accuracy. While your team usually replied to my support requests quickly, the actual resolution of critical issues often took half a day or longer. For a small business running limited preorder launches, that meant closing my website, manually managing orders, and spending significant time on customer service. I would also like to clarify that we never had a 1-on-1 call to discuss my experience, despite your response stating otherwise. All of our communication took place through support messages. My review is based solely on my experience using the app. The recurring issues with order limits and order details repeatedly disrupted my launches, even after I was told they had been fixed. Regardless of whether the cause was Bird, Shopify, or the integration between the two, the impact on my business was the same. I genuinely wanted the app to succeed because its features matched my business needs. UPDATE: We've now been using this app for a couple of years and still have nothing, but great things to say about it. Support is still great, the app is frequently updated with new features and they are also very open ti feedback. Highly recommend! Only just setting up this app after deciding to go with it due to it's affordability and functions seeming better suited for our business over other more expensive apps. So far the experience has been great, the set up is straight forward and even if at some points it's not for a non-developer like myself doing the website no my own, the support team has been outstanding! They reply quickly and provide with links to additional step-by-step, but when I still messed something up with the code, they were able to help me fix it super quick. Really impressed and hoping it will be smooth use from here on out.

We use the Bird Pickup Delivery tool, every time we offer near delivery and pickup (2-3 times per year). It allows our customers to choose between these options, pick a date and time (determined by us), and set so many more variables and exceptions. It is definitely our choice and recommendation. The pricing is also fair and structured to meet your needs. And now the support. I would have never gotten the settings right, if not for the great support! Arranging a meeting was super easy. Support understood exactly my issues and while there are already good instructions wich I received, I was offered the remote help, since it can get somewhat technical. Within minutes everything was taken care of and I could watch everything on the screen, which was a great learning. BirdChime, yout Tool is worth every cent and I can only compliment on your support. As a florist, it’s essential for our customers to easily choose their preferred delivery or pickup date — and this app makes that possible! When I switched to Shopify, I was initially worried to see that feature wasn’t built in, but after a quick search, the Bird App turned out to be the perfect solution. It’s worked wonders for our shop and integrates seamlessly with our POS tablet. I especially love that it syncs with our Google Calendar, allows for customizable rates and delivery charges (or uses your existing Shopify settings), and is very reasonably priced. I have recently downloaded this app. I needed to be able to offer Shipping, Local Delivery and pickup with different dates, times and order limits for each different option and this app not only offers those functions, but the amount of other settings, restrictions & pricing that i can apply to each option is amazing. This app worked really well for a while until it didn't. Once I upgraded to the paid version I had nothing but issues. It would rarely work to let customers click pickup. I reached out to get it fixed and every time I would get a reply I would follow what they said and would think it’s fixed but I was wrong. Everytime I would reply to email I would be speaking with someone new every single time and finally got pissed with how many calls I was receiving to place orders because my website wasn’t working. After the last couple weeks going back and fourth I decided to go with another company.

This is the *only* pickup app on the entire app store that allows me to add local pickup to my website without also adding a "choose your shipping date" option. I don't want customers to choose a shipping date, that makes little sense for most ecommerce businesses. Yet every other app makes you do that if you need the pickup option as well. The app deserves 5 stars for that alone, and I've used it for about a year now with no issues. Their subscription system is tiered so you start out with a free tier that gives you 70% functionality (and 95% of the essential functions) and as you make more sales, they charge you more, which is really really nice and very refreshing (normally you are charged $60+/month with no other options). Their interface is easy to understand and navigate and there are a ton of options that allow you to work-around anything you would run into. Thanks again for providing such a great app!
