Swym has been very helpful in getting our shop set up with their wishlist and back in stock alert features. The apps function well, look great, and many of our customers rely on these features to buy product that sells quickly upon release. The customer support is excellent. Whenever there is an issue, they are responsive and communicative while troubleshooting and resolving the issue. We've also worked with them to get some customized features on our site to accommodate our more complicated product line and they've been efficient, professional, and pleasant to work with each time.

Excellent app with outstanding support. We use Wishlist Plus on our Shopify store, and it has been a great addition to our customer experience. The Wishlist feature works well and gives shoppers an easy way to save products they are interested in. What really impressed us was the support team. We had an issue where some product images were not showing correctly in the Wishlist notification, and the Swym team handled it quickly, professionally, and with clear communication. They resolved the issue properly and followed up afterward. Their service was genuinely excellent, and it gave us a lot of confidence in using the app long term. Highly recommended for any Shopify store looking for a reliable Wishlist solution with a helpful support team behind it.

I had a very disappointing experience with this app. During development of my Shopify store, the app was somehow recording hundreds of wishlist actions even though my developers and I weren't actually clicking the wishlist button. When I contacted support, they explained this was due to a "Smart Save" feature that had been enabled automatically without my knowledge, which could add products to wishlists based on shopper interactions rather than an explicit click. Because of this, my free plan limit of 500 wishlist actions was exhausted before my store had even launched, forcing me onto a paid plan simply to keep the wishlist functionality available. I only discovered what had happened after the app disabled the wishlist because I hadn't upgraded. The frustrating part is that once my store was live, the analytics showed customers rarely used the wishlist feature. The automatic "Smart Save" behaviour had artificially inflated my usage (without my knowledge until I sought an explanation as to how I could have possibly exceeded the 500 uses pre-launch), meaning I ended up paying for a plan I likely never needed. When I later asked to move back to the free plan, I was told that was no longer possible. I found it very disappointing that a feature capable of consuming the free plan allowance was enabled without my knowledge. Had it been opt-in rather than enabled by default, none of this would have happened. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this app.

An issue with how products were pulling in was identified and flagged, and due to a promotion launching for us, Swym worked on it as a priority and got the issue resolved within 24 hours vs. the usual SLA. They have been very hands on in responding to the questons about what happened and moved the fix onto multiple themes for us to future proof the issue also.

Honestly this application is pure rubbish as well as the support provided. The wishlist button lags behind a good couple of seconds which looks terrible in a store and I have been exchanging mails for the past two weeks to hardcode the button to go around the issue. The instructions are not clear and not even with help of AI we were able to make it work properly. Feature like the auto saving come enabled by default so that the "likes" are consumed fast so that you need to purchase a higher tier. All put together a bad experience and a waste of time.

Yesterday I uploaded it to my Shopify store, and it was running perfectly, and 2 hours later it started crashing, the icon showing and not showing. Update: Tons of bugs. Literally left and right. And upon reporting them their team asks for videos as if my explanations aren’t sufficient. Their live chat isn’t live. They barely ever respond. Sometimes with days delays sometimes (if you’re lucky) hours and very likely with a weak response. Our experience is going from terrible to worst. We're finding out problems and bugs and their live-chat support is either non responsive or replies limited not addressing issues we've reported. Very frustrating. If their support and tech issues do not get resolved, we'll likely uninstall and move on to a better wishlist solution.

Upd 20.10.25. It was a great app, until it changed name. Now support is dead, app discount disappeared despite words of operator that it given forever. It doesn't worth it price Great idea, many functions. App doesn't bring so many sales as it can: there are issues with translation, sometimes app admin pages response error 500. support answers fast, but works only 8/5 - not enough while boarding. Price is to high, but now it has a deal, because of it we still trying to implement.

Getting any real help takes forever (probably because of the time difference), and every time it’s a different person who clearly hasn’t read the previous messages. Tickets get raised and then just sit there with zero updates. Instead of an actual solution, you just get bombarded with useless automated replies. It’s infuriating.

I had a couple of issues to fix (not the app, more due to extra coding I had on my website). I tried to fix, and got no where. The support team were great, really responsive and fixed the issues really quickly (within about 30 minutes!). They are people that you can work with directly to customize things the way you want or fix any issues you might have. They are quick to respond and quick to get to work. This means everything when issues arise. Nothing worse than hearing something like "our tech team is in a different time zone and will follow up either in the middle of the night tonight or tomorrow." You run into this kind of thing a lot with shopify apps. I just deleted one rather than wait a day to resolve an issue. Swym is on top of it! No worries here. I have had a great experience working with the Swym team.

I'm using Symmetry, which is the third most popular Shopify theme, but it doesn’t function properly. It works on the first page of the collection, but NOT on the second page. It does NOT work in the "You may also like" section below the product detail page. When you select options like "New to Old" or "Best Seller" in the collection page filters, it does NOT work. On collection and product pages, the favorite/like count appears only after 5–10 seconds. I’m tired of opening a new ticket every day for a different issue. I'm now considering alternatives. These are just the bugs I’ve personally found — who knows how many other parts of the site are affected? The support team is trying to help, but I'm spending so much time reporting bugs and waiting for fixes that I can't focus on my actual business. Additionally, we’re on the Pro plan at $59 per month because the lower plan automatically shuts off once a specific limit is reached.

We tried Wishlist Plus for 2 months and it was seemingly ok for the first month, but during the second month of the Pro plan with 10K action limits, we hit this limit and the app just completely shut down disappearing from our website, surprising a lot of our customers who were just starting to use the app. They wanted me to get on a video meeting call just to get the next tier of pricing and when I did (after 1 week of waiting), the offer was to upgrade to the Enterprise plan at $299 a month. What an annoying bait tactic. I do not recommend this app to anyone who does not want to pay $299 just to get a wishlist function on your store. 10K actions is not enough for even mid-level traffic stores like ours. We have moved to Swish, which is only $49 a month and has unlimited wishlist actions each month.

I needed something free as my store is very small/not a lot of traffic right now, but a good app that I can upgrade when my store grows. This app does everything I wanted, including the heart icon on the collections and quick views, AND without having to mess with any coding! I understand some coding, but not well enough to tinker with it like other wishlist apps expect to enable that feature, so this was a HUGE win! Some other wishlists even wanted access to my store in order to enable the feature--perhaps they were legit, but I didn't like the sound of that, so I looked for an app that was made for Shopify, and found this one. I had some problems at first, and after contacting tech support, they got back to me extremely fast. I even discovered before hearing back from them that I just needed to clear my browsing history and refresh Shopify, and it fixed a little glitch happening, so there really wasn't any problem-just my browser. Now it's all working fantastic! This even works with products with variants--SO awesome!! Thank you for a great app!
