I've had great expereinces with Tipo Appointment and the team behind it. The feature set accomplishes far more than advertised and was the only app I found to meet our needs. Additionally, thjis app does receive regular updates so I appreciate that ongoing effort for improvements are made beyond simply keeping up with forced changes Shopify itself may require on the backend. When challenges do arise, I generally get a response within 24hours and sometimes faster depending on time of day. Their team is worth working with, so I encourage use of their suppot system instead of just getting mad and uninstalling it if something is not working as expected.

Just set this thing up, it seems quite easy - I ask a question on how to and while waiting for response I understand how to do it myself. Support - I talked to Laura - is really great and nice! This app is incredible! The UI is clean and simple, things are easy to find, there's a ton of editing options that just make sense. I run a catering business and It's just about everything I could ask for in an appointment app. The plan pricing is reasonable as well. Now for the best part of my Tipo experience and the whole reason I'm writing this review, is the customer support. I don't have many problems, but when I do I contact them and they fix my issues perfectly and make it looks like it's easy. I want to give a shout out to Laura specifically, she's a delight and it just gives me confidence for the future in using this app if I ever encounter more problems. Definitely recommend giving them a shot!

MAJ : le support a été très réactif et la grande majorité des bugs ont été réglés en 48 heures. Je préfère toujours l'ancienne version à la nouvelle , mais celle-ci fonctionne désormais normalement. J'utilise l'application depuis 2021, malgré quelques bugs minimes elle était parfaite pour mon utilisation, une mise à jour vient de sortir et plus rien ne fonctionne, impossible d'ajouter manuellement un client à un rendez-vous de groupe existant, l'affichage du calendrier (coté admin) est totalement bugé il faut faire des allers-retours dans les mois pour forcer le calendrier à se recharger et voir ses réservations. Il n'est plus possible de choisir les dates et horaires fermés dans les semaines/mois à venir (exemple les fêtes, jours fériés ect ??). Nous pouvons seulement modifier les créneaux du Lundi au Dimanche et cela sera appliqué pour tout les mois suivants. l'interface à fait peau neuve mais est plus lente que jamais, mon site est également 2 fois plus lent coté client. Je mettrait à jour mon avis avec plaisir lorsque tous les problèmes seront résolus, cette app était un 5/5 il y a 3 jours, désormais très mauvaise avec cette mise à jour.

Laura was really helpful when I needed assistance with the booking system today. Despite the time difference she managed to figure out what I'd missed and get me the help I needed. This is often the case whenever I've needed assistance. The updates have caught me off guard a few times when things have changed but Laura has always got me back on track promptly. Loading the calendar and checking appointments can sometimes feel a bit long winded (my staff struggle to check appointments without me) but the app generally works well for my business.

The app works well. Could be a bit more user friendly as it's quite tricky to work out where it gets its inputs from for the info used in the booking. I'm using it to allow hosts to book our room for workshops so a little different to how most people use it probably. It does almost everything I need! When I reach out to support, they are quick to assist me. Helped me with 2 issues back to back. Very satisfied. My only suggestions to improve the app: 1. Have the availability to duplicate Services, so you don't have to change all the settings for each new service you create. In my field, I have new services every month, and changing the settings can be tedious. 2. Have the availability to make certain services only available on certain days of the week. The only workaround I have found is to create a blackout for EACH WEEK of the year to blackout consecutive days. It is very tedious.

It started out good but you quickly realize that its a mess and customer service is horrible. For example, you have a booking for two people on one reservation. One of the people cant make it. The system doesn't allow you to edit the reservation from two to one. It makes you delete the entire booking and create a new one. That's just one of many issues.

Extremely disappointed with this app. I went for the paid verson so I could access the extra features including having the ability to have 10 different locations that my customer could book services. It was only after I paid did it become clear that each registered employee could only be available at a single location. We've been using this app to help us mitigate scheduling for a service in particular that has completely blown up in our area, and it has been a huge relief to have that off our shoulders. Having the option of a google calendar integration as well has been a major selling point for us. Easy to set up, easy to use. I use this app to take bookings for my outdoor spa business. At first, it frustrated me as I did not know exactly how it worked, but once I was able to contact the support team on Whatsapp, I found them extremely helpful. Now i have amazing control over my booking system and whenever I can't do something they are very quick to help me do it. Strongly recommend Tipo.

Great app and worth installing - we use it daily to book out gaming tables. Features like the service blackout are really helpful when we have events on to block out groups of tables. As we have gaming in several locations we can use the services to set up each area as a service so they can be booked separately, the system is flexible enough to manage this. The system works well, couple of small niggles but well worth a try out. Looking forwards to what is coming up from them and the dev team are always quick to reply and helpful

Absolutely ridiculously un-navigable and disorganized app. Way too many variables that also get default-changed depending on what other service they are connected with. One of my main frustrations is the requirement for certain variants that must also be properly selected by the customer, or else it is not be possible to complete the booking. We have lost many potential bookings because of this. Very NOT designed with the business owner nor the customer experience in mind.

We use this app to help our customers book time slots at a photography space we own (ROOLEE Photo Loft). I love the easy way customers can select time slots and how simple the backend calendar is to view and alter. I wish there would be an improvement in the actual time slots. It would be nice if customers could select a time and a buffer window is immediately placed before and after the booking time.

It does the job but with some effort. Has a few annoying features which can't be changed - like grouping different people into one booking because they booked at the same time - so if one customer wants to reschedule you have to remove them and add them back in. This grouping also caused customers being emailed other peoples reminders. I've had to take off the option to book multiple customers at the same time because of this. Support email once a day and barely answer the question so 1 issue takes a couple days to resolve. Would probably recommend for a small business that doesn't get many bookings, but I was dealing with 2 branches and over 300 appointments a day. ***UPDATED REVIEW Thought I'd post an updated seeing as I have been using the app for over 4 months now. (Previously rated 3/5, now 1/5) Help desk is probably the worst I've encountered. - Too many issues around bookings not being placed in the calendar (even though customer has paid), - Tipo not receiving the date and time of booking, leaving the customer having paid but with no actual booking - very bad start on the customer journey. - Customers receiving incorrect information in emails - i.e. after I have rescheduled an appointment for them, the dates in the email received by the customer would be completely incorrect. Customer would then email me in a panic. Spoke to help desk and they told me to check my email notifications :), not sure how that fixes anything... I am looking into other alternatives as I'm having too many issues with Tipo.

Most of the time app works ok. But a couple of times now clients have booked and paid for appointments but app fails to notify me by email to say there has been a booking made. Also when I have rejected appointments app has failed to let the client know. Not sure whats going on??

their app is smartly designed. within 5 minutes I was up and running. and they have support fixing bug. in my case there was an iphone bug which was not allowing to finalize booking (button not visible because of some coding issue) it was solved within 6h after my email. Tipo has let our customers start booking and paying for our Virtual Field Trips without us needing to email back and forth to find the right time. Once installed, the app stopped all products from being loaded into my cart. So, people were able to take a course (yay!) but any ebook, business plan or other product was not able to be purchased. I lost sales. Took 2 hours with shopify team and they couldn't figure it out. Finally uninstalled the app and sure enough, my site was fixed! Sounds like they have quite a bug to workout.

Quite flexible with the basic settings available and if needed code modifications make even more customization possible. Not a good app for long term use or if your a service based business. When changing available dates and times for the employees schedule it doesn’t always update automatically on my website. I’ve had people double book, times and dates became available that I did not set. Sometimes people weren’t able to book so they had to contact me. It was honestly a headache and I will be switching to a different booking system this month.

I'm very happy with the app. Once installed and after using I ran into some problems with adding additional products to my shopping cart. Most importantly I contacted support at Tipo and they replied in a timely manner. They listened and responded to my problems offer solutions. They did do program updates which help the functionality within my store. booking moved a bit slow in my now it is faster which is very important to the customer. Laura kept followed through and got the issues fixed with the developer. I highly recommend using this app. And I recommend communicating with them if you have a problem. They are willing to solve. biggest drawback is they are 15 time zones ahead which can be challenging to communicate in live time. Thanks again! Brian
