What merchants say
Every review we hold for TryPoint ‑ AI Virtual Try On, quoted in full, with the store that wrote it.
Bigger stores rate TryPoint ‑ AI Virtual Try On at least as well as the crowd does. The store behind each review is the part the App Store never shows.
How to check any of this
- Every review below has its own link, so anything that quotes it can point at it.
- The App Store paginates reviews and publishes no address for a single one, so Verify at source opens the star-filtered list this review sits in, not a jump link. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise.
- The reviewing store is linked where we have it. Checking whether a complaint comes from a store like yours beats any average.

We’ve been using Try On for the past few months, and as a women’s ethnic wear brand, this is one of the best apps we’ve found on Shopify. It gives our customers a realistic virtual try-on experience, which is something we couldn’t find with other apps, especially for Indian ethnic wear. What impressed us most is that it works beautifully not only for Western clothing but for ethnic wear as well. The integration with our Shopify store has been smooth, and our customers have also had a great experience using it. Definitely one of the best apps we’ve integrated with our Shopify store. Highly recommended for fashion brands, especially those selling women’s ethnic wear!

I've had a great experience using TryPoint for my swimwear brand. Shopping for swimwear online can be intimidating because customers want to know how a style might look before committing to a purchase, and TryPoint helps bridge that gap. The virtual try-on experience is intuitive, realistic, and incredibly easy for customers to use. Since adding it to the product pages, I've had customers reach out to say that it gave them the confidence to finally place an order because they could better visualize the fit and style. From the business side, implementation was seamless. It integrated smoothly into product detail pages without disrupting the shopping experience, and it feels like a natural extension of the website rather than a third-party tool. I've also appreciated how responsive and helpful the team has been whenever I've had questions. Overall, TryPoint has added real value to both our customer experience and the brand, and I'd highly recommend it to any e-commerce business looking to increase shopper confidence and make online purchasing feel more personal.

I did not think it would hold up on denim. A rise sitting an inch off is obvious, and every try-on tool I had looked at either smeared the seams or washed the colour out, which on distressed and embroidered styles is the whole product gone. Tried it on a few fits before committing. Good enough that we put it across the store rather than only the product pages, so people hit it while they are still going through a collection. Setup was straightforward. Still checking how it does on the heavier detail work, but the base fits are solid.

I sell retro men's briefs, seven styles, and the trouble with underwear online is that a flat photo tells a buyer almost nothing about how a pair actually sits on a body. TryPoint puts that in front of them. I added it to my products the day I installed it and worked through the range over a couple of evenings. On the details I care about, the cut and the double seat, it held up. Easily the most interesting engagement mechanic I've added to the shop this year.

We run a wholesale fashion site, so the people using it are buyers ordering for their own retail stores, not end shoppers. Putting TryPoint on the site changed how they work through the line. A buyer can see how a garment actually sits on a real body before committing to an order, either on themselves or on a model that fits the customers their store sells to. On a wholesale order, where you're buying in bulk off a flat product photo, that takes out a lot of the guesswork. Most try-on tools assume a direct-to-consumer store. We're wholesale, and TryPoint still fit. Our buyers can see how each garment looks on a real body, on themselves or on a model close to their own store's customers, before they place a bulk order. Makes committing to a line far less of a gamble. James Cunningham

We run LeBeautiful and sell sexy, open-style outfits, so virtual try-on has always been a struggle. Most try-on apps either refuse to generate anything (sensitivity filters) or they “solve” it by warping the body and skewing the garment, which makes everything look artificial, painted, and honestly kind of cringe. TryPoint blew past our expectations. The try-ons actually look like real photos, not AI. The garments stay accurate, the output is clean, and it feels like something we can confidently put in front of customers. Since adding TryPoint, we’ve been getting consistent positive feedback from shoppers, and it’s helped customers feel more confident in what they’re buying. That’s translated into better conversion and fewer returns for us. If you sell anything remotely challenging for other virtual try-on apps, especially styles that tend to trigger filters or cause distortion, TryPoint is the first one we’ve used that genuinely works.

I tested a bunch of virtual try-on apps and most of them couldn’t handle my bikini styles. Between content restrictions and how open the garments are, the results were either blocked, distorted, or just looked awkward. TryPoint was the exception. It handled even the challenging pieces and the output looked natural, not “AI-ish.” Even when customers upload a regular, casual photo, the try-on still comes out clean and believable, and the garment details stay accurate. That’s what impressed me most: it doesn’t ruin the product, and it doesn’t make the try-on experience look cringe. TryPoint is the first one I’ve seen that feels genuinely usable for real commerce.

I’ve tried basically every virtual try-on app on the Shopify App Store, and TryPoint is the most accurate by far. The output looks the best out of every example I tested. The fit and drape feel more believable, the visuals are cleaner, and the results look premium instead of “AI-ish.” I asked the team straight up: “Why is it so accurate? How are you achieving this?” It turns out they’re participants in the Google for Startups program, with access to the most up-to-date Google virtual try-on models. They’re using a specialized model and collaborating closely with Google to make it work as well as possible. The results are consistently sharp and polished. For a swimwear wholesaler brand, realism matters. With TryPoint, the images came out far beyond expectations and genuinely miles ahead of anything else I found on the App Store.

TryPoint is the first virtual try-on experience I’ve tested that feels like it’s moving in the right direction fast. What sold me was the speed of execution and how responsive the team is to real merchant feedback. I asked for back view try-on because, for apparel, front-only is not enough. They shipped the back virtual try-on in 2 days, and they’re using the latest Google virtual try-on AI model (it was released just days ago and it’s already integrated). That kind of shipping cadence is rare. I also appreciate that the team actually thinks about the full conversion journey, not just the “cool AI demo.” They’ve been open to ideas like improving the customer-facing flow, making results more shareable, and building better ways to operationalize VTO outcomes. It feels like a product that’s being built with merchants, not just for merchants. If you want try-on that’s improving quickly, with a founder-led team that listens and ships, this is a strong choice.
