If you're looking for a way to add +1s to your customers' carts, look no further. This app allows you to set rules and add products to the cart based on a variety of conditions, for example adding a free sticker pack to the cart when your customer orders one of your products. Very Glitchy, Combined discounts don't work well here, yet tehy do on other apps. Also their tiered rewards don't honor their exclusions so I lost a good amount on orders that had low margin items that pushed the order to a high rewards threshold. Customer service did give me a refund for a month to help offset some of that cost. That is why 3 stars instead of 2. If you only have basic upsell needs this works, anything more than that I would go elsewhere.

I started out chatting with a robot (AI) which was of no help at all. In fact, I would just get rid of it and direct immediately to a human. Then once I requested a human being, DOM came onboard was able to solve our issue quickly and decisively. Humans are way better than machines so please spend more on people and less on technology. EDITED. We had an issue with the app on this specific store (we own several stores with UpCart and are generally happy with it) and uninstalled it, out of frustration, rather than contacting the Rokt team. They did reach out to us and offered to help fix our issue for issue. After some digging, they discovered we had some remnant code from an uninstalled app that was interfering with UpCart (and our site's performance), offered a detailed diagnostic so we could optimize our store. Shout-out to Brandon and his team - they rock!

Customer service is absolutely useless. I reached out for support because there is no setting to adjust text size, and their only solution was to 'hire a developer.' Why use an app if I have to hire someone anyway? This app clearly doesn't value its customers. I do not recommend it to anyone.

WARNING: Doesn't work with Shopify's latest default theme. I spent 1-2 hours setting it up, assuming it would work with the Horizon theme, only to find that it isn't supported. Customer support told me to switch the Dawn theme, which obviously I'm not going to do after the whole site has been built on Horizon. Very disappointed with the app and surprised it doesn't support Shopify Free Themes.

I wasn’t sure if i needed a cart app but once i added Upcart the cart felt way more modern and intuitive. The free shipping bar pushed a lot of customers to add more so they hit the threshold. Some of the setup took a bit of trial and error but overall pretty straightforward.

We are using Upcart Cart Drawer and have generally been very satisfied with the app. It is stable, easy to configure, and has contributed positively to our conversion rate through effective in-cart upselling. That said, it is important to be aware of the app’s pricing model. Upcart Cart Drawer charges based on the total number of orders during a given period, not only the orders that are directly influenced or generated through the cart drawer itself. In our view, this is a somewhat creative interpretation of what should form the basis for billing and may come as a surprise if you expect to pay only for the value the app directly delivers. Overall, it is a strong app with solid performance, but we recommend reviewing the billing model carefully before scaling its usage.

This app is very inconsistent. ive been using it since 2024 and the new 2.0 update has ruined everything. Certain users are not able to edit carts properly depending on device which means this app is no longer compatible for all users. Buttons you press to do something simple as changing the design (Color) or personalized cart messages, do not work constantly. I could not get any help from a team member because they couldn't even identify their own issue. as well as the other users complaining about this problem.

Jacinda from UpCart saved the day! I had spent days trying figure out how to combine Buy X, Get Y (Gift with Purchase / Reward Spend Thresholds) with subscriptions and also allow product-level discounts to apply to the subscriptions too. The solution was complex but the gist is to not use Buy X, Get Y in Shopify, but rather make a 100% off product discount with a minimum QTY of 1, make that product hidden from your store, then use UpCart to add the product to your cart. Works perfectly in all scenarios!

Do not use it if you have multiple languages in your shop. The app has no translation possibilities included. You can only use translate and adapt which is highly limited in metafield data and will therefore not solve your problem. Very sorry, but unfortunately I cannot recommend this app. Support was also not bringing up any solutions that are applicable.

I’ve been using UpCart for a while, and the app itself has potential — but the customer service is absolutely terrible. They take forever to respond (if they even reply at all), and when they do, the answers are generic and unhelpful. It feels like they don’t actually read what you write or care about solving your issue. I’ve spent hours trying to fix simple problems that should have been resolved in minutes if proper support existed. Definitely not what you expect from a paid Shopify app.

It's worked really great for us so far - with some minor issues with compatibility. Recently we had an issue with the cart drawer showing up, and initially I was directly to an ai support who only re-parroted what I'd already read in the help guide and searched on chat gpt myself. However, once I asked for an escalation, I reached Patti who was able to identify a solution very quickly. Hopefully the app continues to be compatible with our store because it offers an easy way to boost sales and show offers before checkout.

The best cart app on Shopify App Store, period. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than others, but absolutely worth it. Front-end performance is noticeably faster than any other cart app I’ve tried, and it works right out of the box without needing a ton of tweaks. (Most other cart apps require you to manually disable Shopify’s native cart, otherwise they just stack on top as an overlay, this one handles it perfectly.) Customisation options are excellent, and the support team is genuinely outstanding- fast, patient, and willing to go the extra mile. In my very first week, they made custom adjustments for me, and since then I’ve had zero issues. Even when I caused a problem myself by changing something in my theme, Aina from their support team took the time to go through everything and help me fix it without hesitation. I’d recommend this app over any others, hands down. It simply works out of the box, and in my experience, it’s even faster than Shopify’s native cart.

UpCart has the best cart drawer UI and functionality I’ve used so far, very clean and great features. I have used it on many stores over the past 2 years. It's fast too, which is very important. That said, support can be a mixed bag. They use non-technical customer facing support agents that seem to lean heavily on internal docs, which can be frustrating if you're used to apps like JudgeMe or Replo where support are technical and will immediately dive into your code directly. They have to escalate cases to their technical team which can take a while. Recently when I had an issue with the cart not showing on about 20% of loads, it took three days before the technical team confirmed it was a theme issue and not related to the app, something I think could’ve been confirmed faster. This is not to fault the support agents themselves as they are amazing, very kind and helpful and do their best with what they have. Still, the app itself works great and does what I need once set up. Just be ready to be a bit more hands-on, and potentially risk having some bugs for a few days if anything breaks.

Whoever is deciding whether to add this app to your store, just do it. It’s very functional. In my case, I needed a countdown timer that follows the customer from the collection page to the product page, then to the cart and checkout, showing when a sale would expire. I originally thought this app had that built in, but it didn’t. I tried adding my own code to UpCart, but it didn’t work. Luckily, the team (Brandon, Laura, and the devs) stepped in. After a few back and forth messages, they created a perfectly working custom solution for me. I really hope they add this functionality as a built-in feature in the future. In the meantime, I highly recommend reaching out to their support team. They are fast, responsive, and genuinely helpful. I wish my own customer service was this good. Amazing technical support. I had an issue with my theme's compatibility and I got through to a REAL person from the company. They didn't waste my time and they are actively fixing the issue. We're using a lesser used theme and most companies would have had some off shore support who would just give up after wasting my time with useless unrelated questions. Highly recommend giving ROKT your business. This is how business should be done!

I installed UpCart to help boost my average order value, and it worked extremely well. The upsell features are super easy to set up and made a noticeable difference right away. I ran into an issue setting up stacking discounts but found a workaround with UpCart's flexible discount rules. The app made it easier to offer tiered deals to customers in a single checkout. Setup was pretty intuitive overall. I wish the stacking options were more obvious, but once I figured it out it worked well. Support was also responsive when I reached out.

1/5 - Disappointing Experience This app is full of bugs that never seem to get fixed. They promise improvements, but the same issues persist, making it frustrating to use. On top of that, the customer support is terrible – no real solutions. It feels like the developers don’t care about user feedback. Definitely not worth the hassle. Avoid it if you can!

Beware of their fraudulent billing. We recently installed this app and had a 14 days free trial period. Once the free trial period ended, we see they charged us for the usage charges for the past duration when the app was not even installed. Upon raising this issue with their customer support, we had to do multiple follow-ups and after one week, they agreed to waive off these usage charges. However in our latest Shopify billing, we could not see any credit provided for these usage charges. Now we will be raising this complaint with Shopify. Very bad experience.
