Awful. A total 'Bait and Switch' scheme. My trial period enabled me to generate as many discounts as I wanted, hassle free. The day that I paid for a subscription, they required that you go through an unorganized and overcomplicated process to generate codes. Customer support is all over the place. There are better options, please explore further.

I didn’t have a great experience with Vify Gift Cards. The setup was more complicated than I expected, and some features didn’t work smoothly, like the custom email and language settings. The tech staff is very accommodating and quick to help to truly customize to my needs. Literally responded and changed things I requested in minutes! It has a few limitations- such as you can't send the gift card via text, but with the help of the team there, they really made it work! I love that I can offer different images for the buyer to choose from. The email that is sent is a little less than beautiful, but making it work. There might be another product out there with cleaner interface, but on my website it looks good and for the price- it's good deal and the people are nice to work with. Would recommend-- been using for a few months now with no issues.

Customer Service is top notch! Pete made me feel like I was VIP with concierge service. He answered all of my questions and was able to trouble some customizations on my site to get me up and running with a nice looking interface! My only wish is that the images selected would show up at checkout but Pete explained that its a Shopify issue-so no worries there, but if in the future there is a work around that would AMAZING! So after checking out several gift card apps, we narrowed the list down to two, so for one month our customers could access both Gift Card pro and Vifys Gift card app via diffferent buttons on the site. Both apps had cosmetic issues that we needed help with styling via CSS and impeded the use of creating gift cards, or other display issues on Mobile. The Vify team was the most responsive when it comes to support. Even though GCP had a stylish interface, our customers want quality features "that work". Vify does that for us and more. Looking forward to seeing if they can help us with some of the additional nuances our customers look for.

This app has worked great for us for a quirky use case. We hand out corporate gift cards to our employees as they earn company "dollars" towards merchandise and apparel. Vify gives us the ability to keep track of used and unused amounts of these company dollars as we reload their gift cards 2x a year. Updated review May 6, 2024 (15 months later). I discovered today that my gift cards were no longer showing the custom options that I put on them over a year ago. After exchanging messages with support, I discovered that at some point, the ability to add these options was moved from the free plan (the only plan available when I got the app) to a paid plan. I was never informed that I'd need to start paying 9.99 per month to keep these options, and instead the features just stopped working. So for *how long*, I have no idea, my pages have just had blank squares where gift card images should be. It just feels like a bait and switch. I have a lot of time invested in creating these and at no point was I informed that the features I was using and building would one day be under the paid umbrella. I understand that companies must make money, and with the additional features of paid plans I may have one day upgraded. But to TAKE A MAJOR FEATURE away is pretty terrible service. I am on the search for something else as I no longer feel this is trustworthy. Previous review February 2023: In just the days I have had this I have seen improvements in the capabilities of this app—the support is very responsive to the questions and requests I have made, and I love that I can create multiple gift cards with different designs for events and occasions. There was one thing I couldn't work out and I set them up as collaborator to fix it and by the next morning it was fixed. By all means, look up my website to see how good the gift cards look. Thanks so much!

I love this app so far. Using it to launch digital gift cards and Vify makes the gift cards and delivery much more user-friendly for both us to manage and the customer who receives them. Previously I had setup the gift cards natively through Shopify, and while I could have done everything Vify does, it would have required a lot of custom work and time. Vify makes it all happen much quicker and with less stress.

I just added the app and got everything set up. It was super easy, and all of the options are pretty quick to edit. I did have to reach out to their help desk because our gift card product page showed their widget on top and the standard gift card product information below it with two checkout buttons. The app is exactly what we need at this time. Because of my mistake I had some challenges getting the app to sync with Shopify. I chatted with Beatrix from support, and she quidded me through all the steps I needed to fix my mistakes. She was very patient and understanding, and the issue was solved. Being the app is free, didn't change their commitment to their clients. You can't say that for many of the paid app's on Shopify.

The app is easy to setup and customize, and support was instant and very helpful. The app is full featured. I like being able to use multiple gift card images, including my own. Most of all I like that customers can either send the gift cards as gifts and designate a recipient and write a personalized message.

Finally... the first FREE gift card app on Shopify. I was using the generic Shopify gift card app, but as most of you know, you couldn't email it directly to recipients. The wait is over! This app integrated perfectly into my theme (whisk). I had a few questions but was able to message someone in the chat box within the app's settings and he helped me out. I'm excited to use this. Gift cards are a big business generator and small businesses should keep every penny of it.
