The app concept is excellent, and the support is solid. However, the management panel and widgets leave much to be desired. The admin panel feels outdated, reminiscent of 90s interfaces, and the widgets are not fully compatible with newer themes like Be Yours. When configuring donations through sales, there's no option to require customers to select a foundation before completing their transaction. Additionally, the widgets lack customization options and are oversized, impacting the product page UX. The "learn more" option on the widget also frequently stops working

Fantastic customer service. Charlie was really on the ball and answered all my questions with ease and a great manner. Product works flawlessly, except for one weird little unique bug (I can't add one-off donations on my browser, but all my customers can!) that they are looking into pronto for me. No complaints! Brilliant.

The chat support is amazing and the simplicity of their answers really does help yo uset the app up with ease. They respond really fast and always have the best info. Sometimes linking to their blogs and video walk throughs too which is really helpful. Looking forward to getting it up and running. Only suggestion I would make for an improvement would be to add a donation calculator, Where you can click on and off each of the campaigns with a box to add value so you can make sure there isn't too many running at once, especially as the invoices are monthly. But great app for what it is thank you!

This is a great idea and a brilliant solution for a business like ours - we want to donate to causes that align with our values, but we don't have the manpower to manually oversee this process, deducting percentages form sales and ensuring they get distributed accordingly. With Virtue it all just happens automatically in the background. Westen in particular was really helpful in getting us up and running, although the process is all pretty straightforward anyway. Love it.

Super impressed with this app so far. Amazing features and easy integration, one of the few of it's kind to seamlessly integrate donations on an e-commerce platform in an easy-to-use and aesthetically pleasing way. I was even able to have a one-on-one session with the founder to run through additional ways to optimise the app for my website, and it was heartening to see the mutual passion for non-profit work. I haven't launched the site as yet, but so far, it's been a fantastic experience.

Discovering virtue was nothing short of a eureka moment, all these charity partnerships right on our fingertips, after spending so much time researching on potential charity partners and how to approach them. Virtue is relatively easy to use and allows you to donate to any cause you want. The customer service team is quick to respond and always very helpful. I have worked with 3 different people on the team, and they each have gone out of their way to assist me.

If you're looking for app to consolidate all your donation, look no further - this app is so much more than that! The support team can even link you to the organisation you'd like to partner with + if you're thinking of certifying your organisation, you can pretty much have a centralised system of all of your donations. Their support team is one of the best there is - fast-response, highly knowledgable, super-friendly team!

We've used Virtue to quickly and easily add a storewide giving campaign to our site without having to manage donations or touch payments - game changer. As a brand we've wanted to add a give-back program for a long time to increase our positive impact, but handling the day-to-day side of integrating with charities was always a big obstacle as we're a small team. For the upsides, the price of the platform is extremely competitive. In a few clicks Virtue was setup with our favoured charity and we had impact badges added to the site to grow awareness with new and returning customers. Since doing so we're seeing improved conversion rates and our customers love knowing they're supporting a cause close to their hearts every time they shop which we're confident will only help loyalty in the long run. A great app that has transformed how the business manages its charity donations from product sales: no more data digging to calculate donation amounts for multiple charities and no more manual donation payments! The Virtue app handles all of that automatically. A big time saver and great for donation transparency too. Since adding Virtue’s store giving, we’ve also extended the functionality to include the app’s 'customer giving' feature. Customers can now choose to add to our store donations with donations of their own, post-checkout. The Virtue team is also very responsive to support requests, and to app enhancement requests. We selected Pledger after assessing the marketplace for donation apps - it was by far the most seamless experience and comes with impressive flexibility across the piece: to add causes we believe in that weren't already on the platform; to support donations by product or across the site; and the fact that monies flow directly to the charity was ideal for our circumstances as we are a tiny team, so we are always looking to minimise admin. The Pledger team are really responsive, helpful and efficient. We'd definitely recommend this app. And we're looking forward to the incorporation of Gift Aid as a future roadmap feature :)

Really great app to enable you to add a donation option to your customers for a cause your store would like to support. There are a number of options, allowing you to add donations yourselves as customers purchase products or just through donations from customers themselves. Support is great often, in our experience replying well after normal hours, and if you dont see a cause or charity you like you can ask for your own to be added. Many Thanks Pledger, Great Job !!

I used this app to give to some important charities that align well with my brand and they are great at what they do. Their customer service thus far is superb and quick to respond. It would be great though if they can allow, through their app, to manually give to charities already registered with them rather than having to go directly to the charities' websites. Okay so we started out wanting to find an easy way to donate to charity and immediately came across Pledger in the app store. A great app but while we wanted to support many of the causes, both of us wanted to support a cause that was really important to us. Through the option to add your cause, I contacted Pledger and could not have had a better experience - special shout out to Mariya who kept me up to date throughout the onboarding. One thing I really like is they let you make the call on how much of your donations go towards Pledger vs the charity - including zero if you wish. Seems reasonable to support Pledger in their work and I really hope that others join in. A couple of things I'd hope to see in the future is the option to show a total donated on the site for ultimate transparency to our customers and perhaps more customisation for the built in product page notices etc. I've opted to craft our own for now. The only other thing is despite turning off the post checkout option to donate / post checkout Pledger page this does seem to randomly appear which I will likely contact Pledger for some further help with soon but for now I will continue to investigate what's causing this. We've taken the decision not to ask for customer donations at this time but it still seems to appear, for some reason. Finally hopefully in the future it would be possible to set a donation amount per-order rather than per item or a percentage. Due to the way our margins are especially for Clearpay orders this would allow us to set a higher amount per order rather than a lower amount per item purchased but overall it works okay as it is. Overall though, a great experience. If you're thinking of doing some good with your Shopify store then check out Pledger - even if they don't have the charity you want to support currently.
