Requires some custom snippets into Shopify Liquid but the app dev team did that with no muss no fuss when i asked. In our case, we use it to hide certain products unless a shopper is logged in and their customer account is tagged "b2b". This way we need to worry less about wholesale pricing showing up in the wild and raising a ruckus with our suppliers when we sell to other businesses instead of end consumer. Seems to work quite well. Hides products from Shopify Search really well.

This app NEVER worked properly since install in October 2024. I reached out to customer support in November for help and they never helped me get it working. I disabled and deleted the lock and uninstalled the app and thought it was done with since I went with Locksmith for my wholesale lock app. However, I checked my Shopify bill recently and realized I have been charged monthly for this app since October without it ever working properly and attempting to get help and ultimately uninstalling months ago. The customer support has been non existent and even today when talking to them about this, they were rude and condescending. I would definitely NOT recommend this app to anyone.

Headache! I kept having issues with my add to cart buttons disappearing. All the information I found was that it had to be something with the theme. I would install and publish a different theme and my buttons would come back. So I had to completely delete the theme, reinstall it along with all of my customizations. Sadly, but gratefully after the second time of this happening, I figured out it was this darn app making these things happen. I could kick myself for not realizing it the first time. JUST DONT DO IT! Save yourself a headache and frustration.

The app has always worked well for us (going on 5 or 6 years now, I believe). However, recently I found that this team is even better than I thought (always a nice surprise)! We wanted to switch to the new user accounts in Shopify, but it was creating some undersirable results related to user logins. The team was able to customize the login experience to suit our application, and they did it very quickly too. Now we are using the new user accounts on Shopify AND the Lock Manager is working even better than it was in the past. Be wary, once you uninstall the code will remain in your template. Absolute bollocks, after uninstalling it we had plety of bugs from this app as it was blocking our variant selections and so forth, although we uninstalled it normally. Had to get a developper on the issue. If you plan on using it short term or with items with plenty of variants I would avoid at all costs!

This is a support team that really cares about it's customers and their feedback. The app works great for our needs and as such I have changed my 2 star review to 5 stars. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This app is really a 5 star app but it has one fatal flaw - It only works with your published theme so you have no ability to test this and work out the kinks without effecting your live site. I have never seen an app that makes you mess with your live site for obvious reasons. Putting this aside I was impressed with how easy the app is to hide prices and content but unfortunately this is a no go for us.

The support team for this app is very responsive and helpful. A feature I would like is to automatically display a special discounted price for special member customers who have the member tag. If a product has both a general price and a special membership price, when a customer with a membership tag logs in, the membership price is automatically displayed. That's the functionality I wanted. Unfortunately, apps with these features are very expensive, and many apps use % discounts instead of fixed-price discounts as a method of discounting. for that reason,I have given up on using these apps. As an alternative, I decided to use this "WholeSale Lock Manager". We prepared two products with different prices for visitor customers and member customers, and controlled the display of the products by "WholeSale Lock Manager". This "WholeSale Lock Manager" app is really easy to use. Moreover, I am grateful that the price is very reasonable.

This app has been vital in managing our store. This, along with the Wholesale Pricing Discount and Wholesale Order & ReOrder apps have made our store a cohesive & user-friendly experience for both our customers & our team. Having as many locks as our little hearts desire has made showing/hiding products to certain customers simple & painless. My only current complaint is that you can't lock variants, you have to lock a whole product. This means if we have a variant we want to show/hide from certain customers, we have to either duplicate the product entirely and show or hide each version to certain customers, or we have to have that variant just be a separate product entirely and show it to certain customers. Not the end of the world, but it would be a nice feature for sure. Overall, once you get the hang of it, it's pretty much a breeze. Support has been quick to respond and super helpful!

I installed this app to keep one product from being visible unless the customer was logged in and tagged with a certain label. It was easy to install, create the tag and create a lock, however, it didn't work as intended at the outset because everyone could still see the product logged in or not. Then there was a change made and then even being logged in, they couldn't see it. Wholesale Lock support was finally able to resolve the problem, but we went back and forth on this for more than a few days, so just know that if you install this, there might be glitches, and it might take a while to get right, but they do stand behind their app and will help you fix it. Working great now. Thanks!

UPDATE: The support imediately contacted me and after a couple of individual code adjustments they made it work for me (this took a few weeks but they kindly didn't charge me for it). The predictive search is now quite slow and the number of results is still shown even though the products themselves are successfully hidden. Unfortunately doesn't support quick search. My locked products got successfully hidden everywhere but still showed up on the quick search. Nice interface and lots of functions but the incompatibility with my theme's quick search sidebar makes it useless for me.

Dont ever add this app to your site! it modified all my theme, hid my add to cart and checkout buttons and cost me a fortune to fix!! Even after i removed the app it left all the theme changes and didnt remove them!!! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! Another cool app from this company. Honestly, the interface is simple and straightforward and the app very easy to customise. I am using their full range of app for B2B and use this one to give access to my PRO section. Other app doing the same (and very good I am sure) but I am just trusting these guys now for my B2B business and price is OK. I like you can customise everything from one page (easier than other apps) and love(!) the step by step process to make sure your logic is the good one (once again, easier than other similar apps). For example, I also use it to block the access to my PRE-ORDER collection dedicated to my pro clients. You just indicated which clients are concerned (tagged clients in my case with the word PRO) then if they have or not access to this collection, and finally what happen if they are not authorised (in my case I redirect them to the signup form for pro clients). You can also block products or a blog pages etc. As usual, Adil and his team are super fast to answer, polite and cool... but for this app you do not really need any help as it is ready out of the box :) Do not forget to click on the enable button before digging into the settings...I mean... it would have save me 30min of time and an email to Adil (shame on me ahahah). The only improvement I can see will be to be able to block different type of contents in one workflow (ex: collection + pages +products). Today if you need to block these 3 types of contents for the same clients, you need to create 3 different workflows. But no big drama honestly as you setup the app in 10min.

We use this app to offer floral industry professionals special access to bulk quantities of products at discount/wholesale prices. The setup was simple and the developers were very helpful. Recently, right before the Black Friday / Cyber Monday rush, I had an issue with the product pagination not showing up, so I was unable to access a product to mark it as a locked product. The app developers were SO INCREDIBLY HELPFUL and worked to get the feature fixed in time for me to set up my store appropriately in time for the holiday. I was so grateful for their assistance and for keeping me updated on their progress.

Launching our company's website quickly was imperative and as a budget-sensitive SMB, we moved forward with the Shopify platform as it checked those boxes. I tried for over 3 months to get a good, simple, affordable, user friendly app and got nowhere. The "GURUS" at Shopify could not help me and everyone had a different idea as to what I should be using...to the outrageous levels of having to re-do my whole web site by hiring someone for my wholesale page to work!. Having said that, there were a few GREAT GURUS that I am very happy with. However, I recommend to you NEVER TO GIVE UP and follow someone's advice (even if they ARE GREAT GURUS) if your gut tells you NO. While looking on YOUTUBE for a solution (because all I needed was a LOCK for one tabe or page in my web site dedicated to WHOLESALE PRODUCTS) I found WHOLESALE LOCK MANAGER. It was so EASY and to the point that I could not believe WHY I HAD SUFFERED FOR 3 MONTHS TO GET THE ANSWER I REALLY NEEDED!!! After setting my web site with the 8 day trial in less than 5 minutes....IT WORKED! I chatted with JAWAD and he promptly made a screenshare right away so he could address my questions....5 minutes later BAM! I was sold and decided to go ahead with the subscription as soon as possible and end the trial in 2 days! VERY IMPRESSED, VERY HAPPY, I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY! AMAZING! So far this app and the customer service has been fantastic. It's doing multiple tasks within the site - preventing certain customers from not being able to click a link, unless they are tagged with certain tags. and another lock that is blocking certain products for our wholesale customers. So far so good. and great customer service, they are super responsive. Time will tell, but so far, thumbs up!

This app did not perform well for the needs of our store. We experienced a breach with the lock app on multiple occasions and after 6 months gave up and uninstalled. I would like to note that the developer was quick to reach out to resolve our issues. The responsiveness of the developer was greatly appreciated, however, this app was not a good fit for our needs.

I use Wholesale Lock Manager to hide certain products and collections from my non wholesale clients and it works amazing. I was able to hide complete collections from customers that are not tagged with Standard Wholesale or Wholesale. This app works great with the Wholesale Pricing Discount app as well. I highly recommend Wholesale Lock manager. The support is amazing and always helpful. if you have a question there right on top of replying to you. all of the apps written by Seth and his team are amazing trust me you will not be dissatisfied with this application or any application that Seth and his team writes. This app is a pretty good solution that negates the need to fuss around with expensive dedicated wholesale apps. Just create separate wholesale specific products, and hide them from the general public. I've used a few others in the past and they seemed a little shaky, sometimes customers would somehow gain access to hidden stuff even though it's locked. This hasn't happened with this app yet. The support is also very good.
