The chatbot worked well for what we needed it for. Messages came through quickly. The only thing I would change is the references or subject lines use very random words like Indigo, Aqua etc... makes it hard to search for a message again. Would be better if the client name came up on the subject line rather. But maybe this was because we were using the free version. Other than that, very happy with the chatbot app

And this is the free version basics, really what I needed (for now) to hopefully grow.

Very pleased I found Chatway. I wasn’t sure I wanted to add a chat function on the website because I thought it would give me a lot of work life chatting with people with too much time. Long story short: I immediately started the Solo plan because of the Life chat. I’m a bit old fashioned, I only use Lifechat and not the AI function. The personalizing options of this app are amazing. You can manually select day by day when you are online and you can easily put yourself offline by one click. During night times the chat function disappears if you want. And that is so perfect when you’re self employed with a partner that likes to sleep at night ;)

Thanks so much to the devs of this app. It's super simple to set up and use for both our business and the customer. The inbox and option to appear online or offline has definately helped increase our sales by quickly answering any quick questions they had before purchasing. 9.16 Update: I WENT PREMIUM... Had some good sales by poppin' in on people and chatting them up and then learning I can see what people are typing before they hit send will allow for pre-emptive statements to the questions I know they are about to ask. If on the fence, just do it. So I was looking for a semi-ai based chat app but the costs and to train it in what we sell would be very difficult and time consuming. These are high end car parts so the questions are VERY technical. I was also looking to unify our chat apps across the board and this app looked good after I tried and deleted a few others where the setup was a pain in the a$$ I was like forget this... Aside from a small token issue (completing incognito fixed it) that the support team handled in 5 minutes after I hit them up we were good to go. The LIVE VIEW is awesome!. After having the app on for 5 minutes, i had someone at the product level, I chatted them up directly by saying the "parts you are looking at are ready to ship today!" and 5 minutes later, ORDER. I have a feeling I will go premium for the additional shopify integrations I am looking for. Don't wait, install this on your site today!

We have our site in 21 languages and serve customers all over Europe, so the on the fly 2 -way translation is just what we needed. The UI is clean and very easy to read, which makes the response time really fast and together with the email notifications when a potential customer enters the chat, not a single chat is left unmanaged. One thing I hope they will soon implement is: being able to email the complete chat to the customer is the translated version as well. I was told they are working on it. If this gets implemented it is a close to prefect chat app.

UPDATE: Premio-Chatway: "I admitted our mistake and said we're sorry" Although this was the response we received in the email, we were saddened to read the company’s statements blaming us. Please also read the other 1-star review. We are experiencing the same issues as Kherish. 1. We don’t encounter this issue with any other popular Shopify chat applications; we’ve tested them all. 2. If you use this app, you will not only face the issue of the X not closing but also experience an infinite scroll problem on your cart page. 3. You will miss out on features like AI-powered responses and great auto-replies based on customer messages. 4. Karina and Marvin won’t trust your screenshots and screen-cast unless you purchase the related device and test it yourself. 5. For two weeks, they made us struggle until Gal, the owner of the company, came and said, “Yes, there’s an issue; let’s fix it.” No action was taken until we gave a 1-star review. 6. The support team ignored our messages, didn’t respond despite reading the messages in chat, and kept sending the same responses. During the conversation, they abruptly ended it with, “If there’s nothing else, we’re closing this" ===================== - We received complaints from customers about the chat balloon not closing after being opened. I would not recommend this company. After I deleted the app due to their co-founder's unprofessional behavior they responded with lies and when confronted with screenshots directly from the co-founder with his tag and photo choose to claim I had the wrong app instead of apologizing and holding him accountable. They have even updated their response several times and continue to email me about deleting my review instead of admitting what he did and making him stop. I even sent them the screenshots where he admits he had my emails but choose to continue anyway hoping to change my review but the company did not care. Since they refuse to hold him accountable I suggest you find a company that will hold staff accountable for bad behavior even if they are a founder. I personally would not trust a company that allows staff to be unprofessional nor their co-founder to lie in order to hide bad behavior.
