I feel nothing short of BLESSED to be working with Custom Cat as my print on demand provider. I am currently on my 3rd year working with them and EVERYTHING about them is outstanding! I especially love their new DigiSoft Ink, which is much nicer than DTG or DTF! The ink actually stays on my customers' shirts through many washes and withstands the test of time. The customer service is also AMAZING. These people are super kind and have consistently taken care of me and my orders as if I was family. Turn around times are EXCELLENT, and if you ever need support, you can reach out to them on their Facebook Page or by email, and you will ALWAYS receive a prompt reply : ) I love everything about Custom Cat!

Set up my store with CustomCat as the print on demand. Using CustomCat Support - Help instructions, I set up different shipping methods. One being "express". My customer ordered an item. Selected express. Did not receive item till 10 DAYS LATER. First, they used a lame excuse of the item not passing a quality check. Then they came back and said it was because I used "express" as a type of shipping and they don't offer express. Their help literally offers an option for overnight shipping and does not say you cannot name it "express" in shopify. Sad that they couldn't figure out what express means and ship it with the proper method. Worse that they made excuses instead of taking ownership.

I'm really not impressed by the design process. They have presets, which are nice as you don't have to worry about the sizing, however if you want to choose a custom size, it keeps reverting back to the size it wants! Also there's only an option for the front and the back, no sleeve, no where to put your branding logo on the design. I was so excited to finally find a store that did a jersey that want's sublimated and then super bummed by the design process.

Got my order in 5 business days which is not bad at all. I was curious about their DIGISOFT®. It is just regular DTF. Definitely not anything special. I was hoping for a nice new industry print method but it's just a marketing ploy. Otherwise its decent DTF. Slight banding on my print but passable.

These guys are chef's kiss (muah!) awesome! Print quality aside ( but print quality is exceptional as well, I don't exactly know what "digisoft" even really means, but I DO know that I like it) this is like an old school business from the mid 90's (in the good sense), if you have a question or problem and need to call them.... you can actually get a HUMAN BEING on the phone!! (imagine THAT!) they are super helpful and patient (if you are as dumb as I am) and will help you reach the finish line. Specifically, I have mostly spoken with 2 reps in particular. Much props and praise to both JT and Mike. They are doing the lord's work out here. I briefly tested the waters with the bigger players ( printify, printful, etc) and I landed on planet CustomCat. Highly recommend. ALSO a tad cheaper pricing and equal if not faster delivery time. USE THIS PRINTER!!!

If a license was required to integrate with Shopify, I would revoke it from them. They seriously do not know what they're doing. First of all, when they fulfill an order, the information does not always transfer to Shopify. The orders they fulfilled were not marked as fulfilled, the tracking number did not transfer either. The result is that we fulfilled these orders TWICE. Then, when you delete a product on the CustomCats app, it deletes it in Shopify too. I completely lost a listing and a day worth of sales for that product because of them. I wish I never tested this app and will definitely not be using it because I can't trust that it will not mess up our store.

The Digisoft is not as good as advertised, The DTG they used to use was way better and softer. It might last longer but its thick and the colors are not that vibrant. It doesn't handle refined printing that well, it throws heavy white under the color? and it still looks faded. Prints are smaller than other POD's! Customer service is pretty good. Their options are kinda dated but the performance options are great! A little pricey though! I love the way they print their hats, full color and good size! but Die cut would be genius, also a little pricey! should offer bulk rates, hard to make money @ $15 bucks a pop wholesale?? Needed some hats replaced but they got lost, super disappointing. I mainly can't stand the Digisoft, good for simple and small designs but you lose a lot of detail with it!! wish they still offered DTG! and started printing bigger (especially on the plus size shirts) Hats is a big improvement but need Die cut patches and uncuffed Beanies (cuffed is too hot sometimes)!! If they fixed those issues, I'd give them 5 stars and probably subscribe!?

I have used CustomCat for the past several years as the primary vendor for our website, www.ROMEOCLUB.com. Very happy with their service - you can call or email and get a reasonably prompt response. Other than a couple of product issues these past few years, 90% of the issues were "user errors". The most recent "user error" last week, they went above and beyond to quickly resolve (same day) my mistake. Wonderful, friendly and efficient service.

I have been through the ringer when it comes to POD companies and I can say for sure custom cat is BY FAR the best of the best in quality of prints, size options, prices, customer service and shipping time; most of my products have even arrived early. I've only had one bad print and it was replaced without any resistance from the company. Every customer has been more than satisfied with the product saying "it looks just like the picture and one customer has claimed they've washed their shirt over 10 times and it looks brand new still truly incredible. I adore this company and if I could give more than five stars I would. GREAT COMPANY, GREAT PRODUCTS, GREAT PEOPLE. I even received compliments from the customer service on my art work. Tried to like this POD but their print quality consistently failed to measure up. Customers constantly sending photos of print washing off on first wash. Customer service is prompt to reply but who cares about that when i don't have repeat customers due to poor quality. I had to go find a better POD.

I recently made a mistake with a large order - completely my fault - but contacted Custom Cat to see if there was any way they could help. The customer service rep Mike B empathized with me and went above and beyond to help alleviate the sting of my mistake, offering so much more help than I expected. You can trust you're in good hands with Custom Cat! Quality Control is also top notch...he shared that they had to remake several shirts in our order to meet quality standards before they were shipped and all that we received looked wonderful. I have worked with CustomCat for over a year and I cannot imagine working with a different provider. I started off as a hater due to a few hiccups, but through exceptional Customer Service, I have been converted to a true fan. CustomCat has created a Facebook Group that connects POD sellers with a group of like-minded sellers and CustomCat staff. The staff resolves issues, educates the community and works to identify possible company weaknesses with the intent of providing better products and services. Since CustomCat creates all the products I sell and does not outsource any of the production aspects of their business, there is never a question of quality, turnaround time, bundling shipping discounts or who to contact. For me, when working with CustomCat I feel like I have received all the benefits of a big, all inclusive POD provider but with the benefit of working with a small business who knows my needs. I've been with Custom Cat since 2018 and absolutely love them. Over the years, I've seen the quality of their prints go up exponentially. The new Digisoft decoration method is out of this world and and absolute game changer. I can't recommend them enough. And sure, they've made a few mistakes over the years, but they've been super quick to resolve them and their customer service team has been so attentive to us. I got 2 orders but only ended up for me refunding them because custom cat did not receive the orders on their end. Also, when I tried placing a manual order from my portal, their payment processor would not accept my payment whether I use Paypal or a credit card.

We wish the customer service would answer questions that were asked. Here were the three questions that we asked the last time: 1) read somewhere that says that shipping rates to Canada have changed. Correct? 2) In one of your tutorial videos, it says you [MUST] have a US return address. How is that going to work for non-US-based companies like ours (we are in Canada)? 3) We also find that the "Design Library" within Customcat is rather limiting. Same as mockup options. Can one make the designs from say "Placeit" and have the designs imported into Customcat directly? The following is the triggered long-winded corporate sermon received, providing an answer to a question that wasn't asked. When we told them we were disappointed that they didn't answer any of the questions asked. We received no further response. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time an answer was provided to a question that wasn't asked. "We don't return items for fail deliveries outside of the USA. "If you are operating your business outside the United States of America or do not wish to receive any returns to your address, please enter our address in your app settings: "1300 Rosa Parks Blvd. Detroit, MI 48216 "If a package is returned to CustomCat, for whatever reason including being undeliverable, it will be donated upon receipt. We will not be contacting you if your customer returns a package for any reason. No package should ever be returned, by your customer, to our fulfillment center. "Our receiving department is here to get the blank product on the floor for decoration. We are not the intermediary between the customer and the seller so be sure to update your FAQs, return policies, etc. Your customers should never ship their decorated orders back to Detroit for any reason. It is very important that you reform your store's Return Policy. Any arrangements for returns, or exchanges, consistent to your posted policies on your websites, need to be handled between the buyer and the seller. "We understand the importance of having a variety of options available for designing products and creating mockups, and we appreciate your feedback. "To address your concern, many merchants use third-party applications such as Placeit.net and Smartmockups.com to create product mockups. After creating the products, you can update them at any time within your ecommerce back end in the products section."

I use customcat for their relatively fast turnaround on drinkware. Relatively fast unless their system auto-bans your design and you have to wait days for them to manually approve it. Their graphic printing on mugs is good in most cases unless it's a photo. In such a case do not use customcat because the print will be way too dark, no matter how many times they reprint it. There seems to be very little or no quality control in place for this. Their customer service speed is extremely poor and leaves much to be desired. In the fast-paced industry of POD taking days to answer customer service inquiries is simply unacceptable and this is outside of the holiday season. During the holidays just forget about contacting them for anything and expecting any reply. I've been using them for about 3 years, this has not improved in that time. Recently I've noticed they have software that has been banning designs from being sent into production until the designs are reviewed by their support staff. They of course do not notify you that your order has been stopped. Unless you check their production queue you will not know until the order is late or you receive an email stating your design has been approved. This review in my experience takes days for them to contact you with their verdict.

When I first installed this app they turnaround wasn't that bad. Now that they are working on converting their systems, the turnaround time is a nightmare. I've got a few orders been in production for well over 15 days and no answer to when they will be shipped out.

I've used better systems which is the only reason for the 4 star, BUT, their printing and product quality are the best I have seen. Not many print on demand companies do the larger sizing which is a huge reason why I use them. The Tees I have on my store go up to 6XL! Great customer service too :)

Custom Cat is amazing, that's the most import piece if you don't want to read a lot. Here's why it's amazing...We previously did in house print. It was tough to decide we needed to go hands off in order to grow. It was tough determining which POD would have the products we were used to, the quality we delivery, fair pricing and good fulfillment times. They have ALL of that AND amazing support. Not that you need/want to call in as their video tutorials are amazing but when you have to call in it is excellent. Our account manager, JT has walked us through some things like the implementation of the app for use with Shopify and it is clear that they value their consumers. Stop reading and try it for yourself!

I like it for the most part. The biggest problem is when thins get discontinued. There needs to be vast improvement in letting sellers know. Items just stay on your store. You don't find out until your customer orders something. They don't even alert you, THEN. The order just languishes until you have to ask by email - What's going on with my order # 1234? A day later...you get a response saying - We've discontinued the polo and jacket, etc... Not Fun.

I really wanted to like this app. I found it after a search for t-shirt drop-shippers with Shopify integration. I designed 4 shirts with identical layouts and the process is not at all intuitive. You can't just duplicate a design on another style of shirt. After several days of trial and error, I finally got the products exported and I ordered a sample. It arrived within a reasonable time and was OK-ish. The sizing seems very odd (short torso and short arms but wide chest) and the shirt was super stiff when I first pulled it out of the packaging. After washing, it was fine. The print quality is OK but not great. My main issue is that the products once exported into Shopify no longer live on their website and if you want to make changes to your current products, you need to start from scratch and re-export. If you want to see your current costs for a product you have to search through a spreadsheet to find it. I contacted customer support several times and did get timely responses but overall, the experience leaves me wanting. I am definitely searching for an alternative.

Excellent App and the support from JT at CustomCat exceeded my expectations. I had issues with my theme and integrating the customization feature and I reached out for help. CustomCat assigned JT to assist me. I first described the issue, and he explored it further. He determined it was an issue with my theme. He scheduled a google meet to walk me through the process, and helped me identify a theme that would work best for my store with the built in customization option. He achieved his goal and tested a few products to make sure the feature worked properly. He also answered a few other questions I had, and addressed my issue in less than 30 minutes. These folks truly went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. You can also speak to someone, submit a help ticket, or email and you'll get a real person. I know if I have an issue with the App--CustomCat will come to my rescue. Thanks Team CustomCat, I appreciate you all.

I have been using CustomCat for the past 2 years, they have a very fast fulfillment time and all my customers are happy with the drinkware items they have received. The support team usually replies to any queries within 24 hours in a friendly manner. Things they could improve, provide a live chat and showcase their products on the Youtube channel. I would love to sell embroidered hats they provide but before that, I want to see how hats look in a real environment and I think a youtube video would be the best way to see some real-life footage of products.

I don't write reviews too often, but a few words on Custom Cat... In the beginning we were highly skeptical about POD as a whole. Custom Cat made it extremely easy to understand and begin doing business, as we use it for our store on Shopify. In particular, Mike B. was instrumental in taking care us via customer service. The company is located in my hometown, so I was actually able to walk in and tour the facility...it's HUGE, and state of the art. They are really getting products out and ready for delivery in the fastest times that we've dealt with, by far. Anyway, highly recommended to the person that is on the fence or coming from another POD company for whatever reason. Hope this helped with your decision.

First off, I'm very biased. And here’s why, and after you read this review, and you try them you will be too. This company continually, amazes me and blows my mind. I've never worked with a Print on demand (POD) company that is so involved in their seller’s success. Perfect example is my last job, I had so many last-minute issues with the order due to my client, it was crazy. To say I was panicked, is an understatement. In the design and t-shirt business, time is gold that can melt away like ice on a hot day, if not handled quickly. But to them, no stress, calm business as usual and they got the job completed and out the door super-fast. I’m so grateful, even more so my client was so impressed with the quality and print. We will get more orders from them because they are singing our praises. THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT IS A HAPPY CLIENT. They made me a priority and they jumped through hoops to help me, and they always have. I felt like I was the only seller but that’s how everyone with CustomCat feels. If I could change anything, it would be more clothing style options for women. But it’s my understanding that is coming soon. Like seriously they are that Great! They take suggestions seriously. Its not like the other POD I’ve worked with where its them and then you. They are Truly in every sense of the word on the Same Team as you. They ALWAYS, answer my questions and address my concerns. Even if the question is DUH question, they are Never condescending or blow me off. They educate me and share knowledge that would take me years to gain. They build up, help, and educate All sellers they aren’t bias, and the Facebook group is in itself an asset. We love CustomCat (CC) so much we are dropping ever POD on or site that sells T-shirts. Why? Because we can’t rely on them, slow shipping, lack of communication the list goes on. However, CustomCat, they are the BOMB. CustomCat has hands down the best product, Bella canvas, Next level, Super soft Gildan and more, CustomCat has the Best Customer service. OH! And I almost forgot to mention they don’t care how big the order is they are on it. You can try the others but save yourself the headache and go with CustomCat. They set the standard by example. CustomCat, not only makes you believe the impossible is possible, by making it happen. They show you how to be successful. They are an asset you can Not afford to not have. Really enjoying my experience with CustomCat so far. They're one of the only POD companies I've found that does EOD — embroidery on demand. They have a large catalog of products, and great customer service too! I talked to Mike B. today for almost an hour about all sorts of things including a cool feature I didn't know about their app which will save me time loading collections of products to my site. I love the more personal experience they offer (you can actually call them) and will definitely be sending more of my business to them in the future. Recommend you give them a try too!

Worst app experience...so frustrating. When selecting a product to design, you can't click on the selected tab because it's all so squished together that the tab gets hidden by the product beside it. Everytime I try to log into the app, it doesn't recognize me and then sends me into a repetitive cycle of logging in, multiple times in one session, then does not allow for products to be selected for store instead sends me to checkout.

Custom Cat has help scale my clothing brand exponentially. In the last 7 months, I've had around 350+ transactions using customcats services. They have a great selection of items and have a quick turnaround. One thing i wish they would intregret in their business is being able to have a custom label added to the tags. Also being able to print over the hoodies pocket. Other than that, I am very satisfied.

Initally, I was excited about this company. My mother used them for her store then I decided to you use them. However, the last couple of orders for both of us have been horrible. Once I requested a replacement, it was never sent. A shipping label was created and it was supposed to arrive in 2 days for a client that was having a birthday party for her 12 year old daughter. After a few days, customer service finally wrote me back saying that the shirts were probably lost in production. Yes, I am receiving a refund but now I have lost a client. I am very disappointed.

I've used this app for 5 months. The quality of the apparel is great to me so far. The sizing seems a bit off. Larges fit like mediums and 2xl fit really bigger than the actual size. I gave it 2 stars because communication is just horrible. As a business who wants ppl to utilize their app, you would think that customer satisfaction would be a priority. It took a month one time for a response, 3 weeks, and 2 weeks. Every single rating lower than 5 star, ppl are complaining about the same thing, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. When will this change custom cats?? I have a order inquiry still unanswered. I am missing 2 hats and a jeans shirt out of my recent order. My other recent order is missing 1 youth hat, like what the heck?? I am definitely searching for another app that can meet my needs. I LOVE PRINTFUL! The printing quality isn't great at all, I've had two of my customers complain that there was some sort of issue regarding the quality. It seems as if Customcat is simply cutting corners when it comes to their printing process. I truly love the variety of clothing and colors they offer, and I hope they improve soon. On top of this, I tried the free trial for the paid plan and I canceled it right before it ended yet they are still charging me full price. I hope Customcat and fix the issues it's been faced with, and I wish them the best, but I simply cannot recommend their services to anyone at this point.

I had to cancel an order that was placed accidentally. But, you can't cancel an order from the app, so I had to contact customer service. Customer service responded within 24 hours and said, "Order has been canceled and refunded as request. This credit should reflect in your account within the next 8 business days." That was 24 days ago. Still no refund. Contacted customer service again (36 hours ago), and zero response. Bottom line: app isn't very useful with key functionality missing, and customer service is helpless. No wonder their prices are so affordable.

Most of the items in my shop are printed on brown shirts, hoodies, etc. so it really hurts my business when they claim they’ll have a certain size in stock but them wait A WHOLE WEEK just to tell me they canceled my order. Some of the brown hoodies and sweatshirts haven’t restocked in over a month and I can’t even get an exact date on when they’ll be restocked. Still a pretty good service but can still use some work.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My customers were furious by their products. Ink was completely faded and wrong colors used. some products never even showed up. It took days before ever hearing back from customer support. Each time I talked to them I would get a different person who had no clue what I was talking about so I had to resend all photos and the whole story all over again. They like to make excuses and blame other things than just admitting fault and moving on and fixing the problem. If you are using POD I highly suggest looking into another company as the failures and incompetencies I have experienced with custom cat are enough to drive your business into the ground.

Our store has been using CustomCat for almost 4 years and we are big fans! Their team is constantly looking for ways to improve the interface and usability of the app. Their products are good balance of price/quality and they stand behind them with a fair replacement policy for defective items. Their production times are very reasonable as well. Of course no POD is 100% perfect, but I think CustomCat does a stellar job with customer service, even during peak holiday times. Their seller Facebook page is an invaluable resource for sellers to navigate stock availability, learn design best practices and communicate with other sellers/CustomCat staff.

Overall, the app is so frustrating to use. I tried to install on Shopify, didn't even work so I had to use the web version. Everytime I had to place an order, I had to recreate the design and the product because you cannot even save it. Orders say 3 business days for turnaround but oftentimes it took at least 5-7 days for them to ship it. Customer service is slow as a drunk dude, took at least 2-3 days to answer a question. They took the manual orders tab away recently, and now I can't even so the previous orders I made or the tracking numbers. Do better CustomCat.

Choosing to use a new app during the busiest season of the year almost promises to be a disaster, but my POD was out of ornaments, and CustomCat had them, so I thought I'd give it a try. First two bulk orders were completed and shipped in super fast time, instilling a false sense of security. Then the problems started and haven't stopped. I'll break down all of the issues with this app to make this review as comprehensive and helpful as possible. 1) there are no status updates of your orders. If you place a manual order, just sit back and pray it gets shipped. You'll never know if it's in review, in production, etc. The only thing you'll know is that it's shipped. 2) They do not fill manual orders in the order in which they were received. If you have 20 manual orders, even if they're all for the same design, you never know which one will be filled first. 3) User friendly? Not in the least. My other POD app lets me select the product I need to order. I had to recreate the product for every order I needed. Is there another way? Maybe, but I never found it. 4) Consistency. I ordered 30 of the same design. They are in no way the same product. The hole for the ornament string is askew in a many of them, to the point of them being crooked. The design isn't centered on all of them. I spent $150 on an order that wasn't even close to being correct. 5) Response time. Took me 4 tries over 7 days to get support to answer ONE question. They still haven't responded to the above referenced issue. 6) Inability to view your orders. If you make a manual order, all that is there is the order number, and name. There are no links to click and see WHAT the order is, or confirm the order that arrived looks anything like the order you placed. Case in point today, I received an order and the hole for the ornament is in the person's head of the photo. I'm super certain that I didn't do a memorial ornament by hanging it from the deceased person's head. 7) There is no inventory tracking. The closest they come is letting you know a size is out of stock. You have no idea if they'll be able to fulfill any bulk orders of a certain product on Shopify, because there's no inventory listed. All in all, it's probably one of the worst apps out there for POD. When you receive an order that's wrong and you spent $150, you don't want to stew in anger for days on end waiting for any response. When you order 30 of the same design, you want 30 matching products. I will say the quality is very good when they're right and their shipping is very reasonable, especially for 2 day ground for bulk orders. I couldn't in good conscience recommend anyone use this app, though.

I had high hopes for this app because of their selection of items. I loved the clothing! However, what good is having great clothing to design if when I design the apparel, my designs don't save and I constantly have to recreate them? Additionally, when I design apparel in the app, my designs are constantly resized and moved around in ways that I didn't set up originally. On top of that, when I finally did manage to get the designs to look the way I wanted and save them I tried placing an order for myself and didn't hear back from the company after the order was placed. On top of that, I've reached out to customer service numerous times and haven't heard back from anymore. The selection of products is nice, but not worth it if the service is terrible. Take your money elsewhere to a company that will support you.

The app doesn't always load and is difficult to use. The products are also of poor quality and the apparel sizing is not standard sizing (seems to be Asian sizing). I am very disappointed because there are a lot of products I can't find anywhere else, but the products are not worth the prices. However, the canceled order still shows in process 4 days later (that is canceled) and the second order is no where to be found. I am a graphic designer and I am not satisfied with the quality of the printing nor with the placement of my artwork. I had banding in my face-mask and the placement of my artwork was incorrect. I am so disappointed that I have to remove my online store temporarily until I figure how to provide the best quality for my customers. I have yet to receive help from the CustomCat customer service over my last printing issue.

I used this app to upload and manage my designs. The application was very easy to use and very user friendly. The issue that I ran into was the long delivery time and the quality of the graphic print on fabric. None of the print that was placed on my t-shirts and hoodies looked crisp, even when I made sure that the resolution and dpi was correct and that the image was of high quality with basic colors. At first I thought it was a one time issue, but it continued with every order. The quality of the print just seemed to be sub par. In addition, the customer service seemed to be lacking. Many of the customer service reps seemed to be irritated by my discontent of their poor printing standards. Because of all of this, I do not recommend using this company for t-shirts, hoodies, and any other apparel.

Do not recommend. The jobs are inconsistent and customer service is trash. If you do reach out to customer service, be prepared to be sat in the queue. They DO NOT respond in a timely manner. Jobs will come back with graphics in the wrong spot, too small or the ink colors already faded or not consistent with your actual design.

The app is easy enough to use and they have a good array of products, but their print quality in TERRIBLE. They put so much starch on the fabric that the ink just bleeds everywhere. Then they shove it in a bag without letting it dry and the prints get stuck together. I’ve used several drop ship printers and Customcat is, by far, the worst.

I saw an ad mentioning that Custom Cat had speedy lead times so I thought I would give it a try as a possible alternative to the backlogged Printful. I ordered samples from Fuel, Teelaunch and Custom Cat at the same time. Custom cat still arrived later than the other two. The print quality is poor at best. I've never seen prints and embroidery work look so bad. All the samples I ordered were also carelessly crumpled up and shoved into the mailer bag and came out completely wrinkled and messy. This would create a horrible impression if I sent this out to a customer. This print shop is actually MyLocker, which can also be found through Printify. Absolute garbage. Stay away.

I finally decided to make a 1 star review to CustomCat. Every type of issue takes away 1 star and there are many issues at the moment so they should have received zero stars if it would be possible. #1 Quality control issues - I sold thousands of face masks and it's unbelievable how much work I had with customer support. About 5% off all masks had quality issues, either the customer received the wrong product or the print was bad. Not just a bit off, it was noticably terrible. #2 Shipping issues - CustomCat is offering an economy shipping option. The next decent shipping option is incredibly expensive compared to other POD services but is still basically standart shipping. About 5% of all orders were incredibly late and about 1% of all orders got lost with economy shipping. This isn't shipping, this is garbage. #3 Production delays - According to CustomCat some orders had to be reprinted multiple times what lead to orders being in print for 2-3 weeks what is just insane. I highly doubt that's really the case but either way, if your orders need to be reprinted 6 times you are clearly doing something wrong as a company. Also, good luck explaining it to the customers why their order wasn't shipped for weeks. #4 Issues with the apps order recognition - About 0.002% of all orders didn't get synched to CustomCat. That's not a high number but if you're making many sales, you can't check orders all the time if they are getting synched. It shouldn't happen in the first place but when contacting the support about this issue I was simply told to replace a manual order. Thanks a lot. #5 Feedback ignorance - Regarding all these issues and reporting multiple times on customer complaints, product and quality issues nothing has changed at all. I had so many complaints about the product with detailed explanations but customcat didn't change anything at all about it. These are the reasons why I believe they deserve a 1 star review because as someone who is selling a lot the company clearly limits someone in expanding and growing the business because you need hours every day to fix the issue they have caused. I understand that there are many issues these days but they just tried to cash grab as much as possible instead of limiting some of their services to keep the quality steady. That's bad business practice and hurt my brand a lot. I believe I'll take my christmas business somewhere else because it will simply not be an option, they will not be able to handle it at all.

The only cons I have so far are that once a tracking number has been assigned I am not notified and have to manually assign it to my orders. The design creation is EXTREMELY time consuming. You have to download their templates to use. It would be really nice if they had design software built into their app. These extra steps mean I'd have to charge exorbitant fees to my clients for their products in order to even make any money.

CustomCat products are a hit or miss. We had to drop another product because their print quality was horrible. We received a picture of a embroidered hat from a customer today that looked like someone just learned how to use the machine. We are a startup company and this isn't a good first impression to have, especially after the customer has been waiting two weeks for it to arrive. Do they not have someone QC the products before they are shipped?

CustomCat is the WORST EXPERIENCE our company has ever had with a Shopify related app or product. CustomCat product quality is horrific and the printing is amateurish at best. There is literally no quality control whatsoever. We lost hundreds of customers before finally switching to professional fulfillment companies that actually care about the store owners they sell to. CustomCat does not care at all. If you care about your own customers, you'll want to avoid all CustomCat products. Whatever amount of time it takes to switch to another app, do it and do it now! The app is deceptive in the sense that you can create products faster with this app than many of the other fulfillment apps on Shopify. The problem is absolutely horrific product quality matched by poor customer service. Again, hands down the worst customer experience we've ever had via Shopify. We're actually surprised Shopify is still sponsoring this app - it reflects poorly on them too. Don't be fooled by CustomCat low prices. This is a case study for "you get what you pay for." And in the case of CustomCat you'll get zero value, lose customers and deal with one customer service nightmare after another. RUN AWAY from this horrible company and their app! Need proof? Call CustomCat during normal business hours and ask a basic question about any product. You'll have all the proof you need. Again, don't walk away from this app, RUN! DO THE MATH: CustomCat has Fifty-four 1-star reviews out of 505 total reviews as of this writing. 10% ONE-STAR reviews! I started using CusdtomCat when I first opened my store in August. At first seemed good. Orders reached customers in 5-7 days. Then on my test orders noticed images cracking and fading after just 2-4 washings. Then starting around holidays orders were taking 8-14 days to get processed. I understood that processing may take a little longer during the busy season but 10 days to get it processed when they say the average time is 2-3 days. I still have one that is going on 17 days that is unfulfilled. I tried canceling the order at the customer request as it was taking so long and he still had no tracking number. But it said it was in processing and could not be canceled. That was 14 days ago. Also, at one point during the holidays you could not even access the app or upload new designs. I contacted their customer support asking when orders would be processed. The auto response said it would respond in 24 business hours. I usually got what appeared to be cut & paste response in about 4-5 days which said it is the busy time of the year and processing time takes a little longer, then it was we updated our machines to process things in ½ a day. But apparently not my orders. Why would you upgrade the machines during the rush season-shouldn’t have been done before or after the season. Then got an email that apologized for the down equipment and would start getting orders out faster. Nope. Had order placed after this email and it is still there 10 days after order was placed. I am currently looking at other POD options as CustomCat failed me just as I was starting to get my business up and running right at my first Christmas season. Not to mention the refunds I gave while orders “processing” and telling customers to keep the shirts once they arrive just save bad reviews while my business is still in its infancy.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Their Christmas deadline was a joke. They delayed all my orders and took 10+ days to ship them. Their deadline of 14th December for mugs was a joke. I have received hundreds of charge backs and negative reviews because of them. They ruined my whole shop and will ruin yours too. 10+ open tickets and still not a single response from them. I will be charge backing each and every order that was placed within the deadline and still not received by my customers. I advice all of you to charge back too. They are scammers who are just here to scam.

We have order stuck in processing and production constantly, like 14 days out now on many of them. So many chargebacks, unsatisfied customers due to poor print quality it's insane. This company doesn't care, I'm a long term seller and most of my orders are not made in a time frame that they promise, also they use UPS for shipping which takes a lot more time and lost packages. They don't answer on my mails and pleads to send out already, a few orders were over 14 days and still not done, I don't get my money back, if the customers wants to return the product it goes to charity, it's a let down! Products get bad reviews and I wouldn't recommend it long-term to nobody. This is my one and only bad review ever, I've recieved many bad ones because of this company. Stay away is my advice. Other honorable mentions, some mugs are blurry, some crooked and poor prints go through quality check like it's perfect, app has it's own problems with not working or unable to upload new designs etc...i could write a novel, the biggest problem and dissapointment is customer support and no priority when they screw up the product and has to be remade, it takes weeks.

I really want to like this company, I do. I want to use them. But heres the problem. Black Friday I had an order come through, two items, both t-shirts. According to their company policy, it can take up to 10 business days, but generally takes less. Heres the problem, today is the 13th business day and the order is still not done. I've called them, contacted them through the app and they basically tell me that we had "more orders than expected on Black Friday and that the item did not pass quality control." Okay, that would be fine for the first 10 business days, but seriously? If you manufacture t-shirts, how exactly do you manage to screw it up that many times that it doesn't pass quality control? Additionally, its not even a custom design, its a standard design that countless people are selling on t-shirts. At this point, it just looks like there making excuses and they can't even tell me when the order is going to ship. It's so disappointing, especially since I bought the paid plan. Yet, on top of all of this, I have gotten chewed out by the customer big time and likely lost a valuable customer. My store isn't built on the Custom Cat app. I used the app for additional products (we manufacture and sell cigars!), so I don't rely on traditional advertising to obtain customers (were prohibited from doing so)- based on that, loosing a customer, especially based on how hard we've worked, because a company can't meet its obligations is just wrong. I'm tempted to call and check the status again today, but honestly, I'm really getting tired of their excuses, its old!

I built an entire store around this app, ordered $1,200 worth of samples in 4 different orders to outfit my test team. Prints and embroidery were so bad I didn't even give them to my test team. Shirt colors faded into ink, see shirts through print, burn marks from over pressing, placement of prints incorrect, garments with other stains/blemishes on them, embroidery looked like 5 year old kid's crayon drawing.. they were all crooked and miss-stitched. When I inquired about a refund it took 5 emails and 10 days to get a response. Final response was they would reprint but not refund and wanted a report and photo for all 40+ items they destroyed. After 4 orders of mistakes I cut my losses and donated them all to a homeless shelter. On top of all this print time alone was 2+ weeks but they claim print 1 to 6 days.

Unless you want to have to replace every item for crap print quality or terrible embroidery, hard pass on this one. theres pleny other POD companies that do quality work and actually QC thier products before shipping. This company has cost me thousands of dollars in replacements because of incorrect colors and just flat out embarssing work. in response to the comment below. the wrong embroidery color was only the final straw in literally every project being an embarassing mess. I am not new to the embroidery or POD worlds. the work you do is absolutely substandard.

A: Why would you send hats in a bag and not a box? Frustrated customer that would like to see this change. B: Thank you kindly for the response. It took me a long time to figure out as I had deleted many apps and reinstalled due to an issue. I just happen to be in my final review after reinstalling and posting t shirts, etc and ran into the log files and noticed an order#. This hat was chosen from an advertiser to wear on his show. He said the hat was good other than the bag delivery and was bent out of shape. I'll reinstall maybe and use the app. Would like to see reviews of the product while creating the appeal.

I am continuously blown away by how amazing Customcat is as my drop shipping provider. Not only have I never had a customer complaint on any product they have shipped, but I constantly am getting praise for how fast they are able to print, usually the same day as ordered, and promptly ship the products. On top of all that I recently had the opportunity to attend a convention to sell some of my products in person, but was very limited on time given before hand. I called Customcats customer service line, where I was quickly greeted by a very friendly person, who helped me with all my questions, and then offered to personally keep an eye on my order to make sure it would ship in time for my convention, but none of that even became an issue because they were able to fulfill my entire order, of 5 different shirt designs on multiple sizes, multiple different designed mugs, and a variety of sticker designs, totaling 79 various items the day I placed the order and shipped it out that night! If you are looking for a good drop shipping company for your new online business, look no further, Customcat is leaps and bounds ahead of all the completion! I can't wait to continue to work with them for years to come!

My experience with Custom Cat has been very negative! -I placed a sample order on September 21st (just ONE product) -The order did not process until October 7th * (11 business days later) -As of today, October 14th, sixteen business days after I placed my order I still have not received the order and Custom Cat has been less then helpful and they are very slow to reply to messages. This is the second sample order that I have placed. The first order took a long time to arrive and I was very disappointed with the quality. I figured I would try another product and the experience has been even worse! I am so happy that they have shown me how they do business as I can avoid making a huge mistake with my company! * There was NO communication on my delayed orders and my billing and address was were up to date.

CustomCat has quality dtg prints that looked great, something I would sell. The prints were a lot better than Printful's, but there delivery took 2-3 weeks to arrive. Printful's took 7 days, but the quality was poor and I would not sell what Printful sent me. In summary: Good dtg prints, really slow fulfillment.

I signed up with Custom Cat because of the reviews. Now I am beginning to regret it. 1st I ordered shirts for myself just to check out quality. I received 3 shirts, 1 of which should have NEVER passed quality control. The printing was TERRIBLE and looked like the printer was running out of ink. I sent multiple emails, newer received a reply, replacement or refund. I just ordered 2 more shirts which according to the app my store cost should have been $16 each, but I was charged a total of $42. Even with the additional shipping cost, my cost should not have been over $38. Prior to this, I have had orders rejected because the item was no longer in stock, but I was never notified and had to issue refunds. On another order for embroidery, I had to refund a cap, because my artwork could not be used for the logo, although I have used the same artwork for local embroidery. Not sure why there is a 4.5-star rating if Custom Cat is doing business like this. If you are using them for your store, you better double-check what you are being charged on your orders and definitely need to place a couple quality control orders to inspect what you are selling. Product after product with issues. Colors nowhere close to submitted artwork, prints off center. 7 of 8 items on last order were flawed. Customer service is slow-to-non-existant. Made me jump through hoop after hoop and each time they admitted the print was sub par. Still argue about refunding me. No longer worth the effort. I only wish these reviews allows submission of photos to show the final products. I'm sure CC is thrilled thats not possible. Placed sample orders with Printful and the quality was night and day. The colors with printful were way more accurate and print location was spot on. Posted a blind comparison in the CC users forum and was removed from the forum. Beware before hitching your POD business to Custom Cat.

I don't recommend this company. I got some items for myself to check the quality and lets just say they suck! One shirt was blurry on the front, print on back was not lined up with base print to achieve the color, then faded after first wash. Second shirt about the same just front print was blown way up from what it should have been and the back was too small, as if they switched the sizes. After all that it took them a week just to ship my order and a week to get it, I paid them way too much for horrific service.

I have several apps in my store. I never bother to read the user guide for any of them. They are intuitive and designed with ease of use in mind. This app has a terrible UI. I tried a dozen times to get my logo file uploaded. it meets all the file criteria they have in their FAQ. Once i finally got it to load and show up. It disappeared. I dont have time to mess with an app that is buggy and poorly designed. Its a shame, I really liked their products and would have sold them if the app wasn't a POS.

WORST POD EVER. Don’t be charmed by their low prices. They are cheap but they worked cheap as well. Embroidery: so technically limited and optimized to reflect their price positionning that they ALTERATE your designs in the worst way with no respect to the creation. Direct to garnement: don’t care at all of proportions and when pointing their lack of quality, hiding behind their guidelines and that your files are wrong! Telling the issue may come that you upload vectors..but their guidelines allows vectors...ok. I bought more than 300 dollars of samples before (plus the custom fees to pay) and even with that I had 5 orders and 3 of them have been a total failure. Make yourself the best gift of all: RUN AWAY FROM THEM.

The app is easy to use and customer service is always responsive. I like the variety of teeshirts, etc. they offer. If something prints incorrectly they replace it. Of course quality control should always be a top priority. I recommend CustomCat and will continue to use their service.

Everytime, I attempt to download from my library, I get 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. I am the owner...and also can't get any customer support for the past 4days. I have called, sent emails and still no help regarding why I am unable to download from my shopify/custom cat library after creating and uploading images. I would like this issue addressed. This is now the 5th day without contact or fix. Customer Service non-responsive and error is a problem.

Update: Company stating it was our design rather than their quality standards. These same designs have been printed by several other print partners with no lack of quality. Customcat misprinted each item and the embroidery was pathetic. The replacement order had new issues that the first did not. Double printing our logo in one location is not an issue with our design as they say. We followed the exact positioning guidelines & yet this issue still occurred. If they had any quality control process in place these inconsistencies would have been caught prior to shipping. If opaque areas of our design were an issue, AGAIN quality control could have flagged this prior to printing. This could've been as simple as contacting the customer to give them an opportunity to modify their design. If we could add pictures we would. Placing the blame on the customer is ridiculous. Own your faults so you can fix/prevent this going forward. Buy a new embroidery machine, the one you have results in blocky childlike handwriting. Unbelievable that you can stand behind what you produce. __________Original Review Below__________ Placed a sample order before launching products on my store. The order took nearly a month to arrive! The print quality is awful. They must not check their products before shipping them to customers. The embroidery on the hat looked like a child's handwriting. The DTG shirts both came out botched. One had a misprinted line outside of the design area & the other duplicated the logo. You would think maybe this is a onetime flaw? No, they sent a reorder and it was just as bad, worse even. Both shirts had printing flaws in the same location as the first order and additional locations. The hat came out just as hideous as the first one. Absolutely terrible. So glad we didn't trust this company with our customer orders. We've had the same designs embroidered, printed & fulfilled by Printful & Printaura. The work by Printful & Printaura is flawless everytime. I cannot believe the lack of quality that Customcat produces. Why Shopify endorses them is beyond me. I would not use this company again if I was paid to. I don't recommend using this company to dropship your designs. If your customers receive the quality we did you will lose that customer guaranteed.

We have many customers who receive items that we do not even offer from CustomCat. Many customers do not receive the items at all. Many customers report that the print washes off after one wash. Don't even try to reach out to customer support, it's pointless. After selling 3000 shirts through CustomCat, this will be our last year using their service. UPDATE: When we requested refunds for the countless amount of misprints/unshipped orders, this was Custom cat's response: First of all, I actually do get to make that decision. This is our policy. We have a 100% replacement policy. We made an exception to this for the holiday season for unique orders. Second of all, I hope you understand that this is a partnership here. We expect you to give respect to us just like we give respect to you. This is a professional, mutually beneficial business relationship. Thirdly, to reiterate, I HAVE refunded you for this order. Starting next week though, we are back to the normal replacement only protocol. You also, normally, need to provide us with a picture of the defective garment. If you do not understand this policy, I would have you STRONGLY reconsider working with us, because if you dispute charges because you want to and you disregard our policy on refunds, we have the right to close your store down. We started using this app for their wide selection, but after literally every single order having issues (I never knew how many new issues could be present with each order), we have pulled all but a small handful of their items from our store. The items we have left do not seem to have as many issues as others. Overall, you're wasting time, stress, and money over an inferior product. Just use Printful, they have not messed up a single order. EDIT BASED OFF OF RESPONSE: It was not fair of me to say that every order was wrong. I will note though, not every order with an issue was reported. However, what we quickly learned about CustomCat, was when a customer ordered an item from this vendor, we were crossing our fingers that their order would not have issues. On the flip side, Printful has a 100% success rate. We have not returned 1 Printful item. Additionally, several of the "replaced" items had NEW issues. So some orders were replaced twice. Why on earth would we trust this vendor at that point? We want our customers to know that they will receive a quality product from a quality brand... and we were not that brand with CustomCat as a vendor. I'm not leaving this review to be a jerk, just want a better product. I'll also say we have since removed every single CustomCat item from our online store in the past month or 2.

So far, I've had a very positive experience with CustomCat. I had no problem integrating and setting up all of my products. They have tons of POD items to choose from and the best part of my experience has been the customer service. Naturally, when just starting out, there are a lot of questions. I had a bunch of questions and was able to speak with someone directly and also connect with them via email for any future questions. They have been great and I look forward to adding more products and really growing with CustomCat.

The app has a terrible interface unlike it predecessors modern easy to use interface. Plus the main reason for uninstalling is that they force you to use the vendor name of "CustomCat." Thats totally contradictory of making self branded merchandise. Not sure why they do this, by all means they don't have to since other on demand services don't require it, but it's likely a selfish from of marketing for them. Beware! Printful and Gooten are much better and more customizable.

First of all - what a great company. Your first concern is probably shirt quality. I wear the shirts I sell and they look great to me after many washings. Next is ease of shirt creation. I can create a pile of custom shirts very quickly with their system. Next is customer service - STELLAR!! I wish every company I dealt with was as fast and competent as Customcat. Today I had a setting wrong in Shopify that led to 7 orders not going through. One phone call with JT at Customcat got me going and he also fixed my settings so I did not have that issue again - all in about 4 minutes. I love Customcat!!

I love using customcat! Easy to navigate and the staff is amazing! Mike B helped me out when I ran into a snag. I'm new to the DTG scene and still learning. Even with that being said he treated me like I was a long time customer and was very responsive via email and calls. I don't know if I can get that level of customer service anywhere else. My first encounter with their customer service team was positive. I talked to Mike and he helped me install the free version of the app. I definitely didn't need to call in because installing was literally just a click of a button but it was nice to speak to someone on the inside that was so experienced in print on demand. Right now I am pumped to start running traffic and I am confident I will become a power seller in the coming months.

I used CustomCat for two months. I wish I could give them zero stars. There customer service is all about placing blame on existing customers and avoiding any responsibility for their poor printing. I had ten initial orders. One of my orders had a different company printed on my shirts. I took my products to local printing shops. The owners I spoke to were shocked that someone would ship this poor product to a customer. Garbage shirts and horrible printing. I donated the shirts to the homeless. I am shocked that Shopify has not distance themselves from CustomCat. CustomCat is bad company for Shopify. Printful, however, has been very helpful during the process. Every shirt printed by Printful was perfect.
