We've had this app for many years, and it was working well. With recent changes however, it no longer works properly and support is poor. First it frequently crashed customers' carts. Those that didn't crash just had the discount disappear at checkout, which made it look like we were deliberately offering a non-existent discount. We had many customer complaints. Shopify told us to keep it installed so it could be fixed, which was brutal. Eventually I decided to uninstall and look elsewhere. After several weeks it was 'fixed' and we had it reinstalled. It now takes the discount offered on one item and spreads that out over all the products in the cart. A $10 discount on one item now becomes $1.67 on that item and so on down the cart. It looks ridiculous and is confusing. I should say that strongly suspect that the issues this app is having are because of Shopify code changes that they have not acknowledged and have caused problems to many apps and themes. Still, Shopify apps need to be able to adapt in the Shopify environment.

Support for this app is a total disaster. Never in my life have I encountered such an unprofessional and ignorant approach to the customer. Support does not listen to customers, they pretend that the problem has been solved and do not write back. I pay for a subscription, and when I had a problem that prevented me from opening the store, support ignored it, did not write back. I had to change to another app. I do not recommend the app, bad treatment of customers, waste of time and money.

Sadly today the discount table disappear and the head of support James emailed me saying they are getting rid of this app. No longer giving support. He asked me to uninstall. They offered me 4 months refund. That worth the 1 star. Do not install this app anymore.

Great app, I've been using it for more than 1 year, never had a single problem during this period. Today we've updated our theme and we needed support from them to help us solve a problem in the cart. They quickly provided an initial reply and started working on a solution. A few hours later, their dev team came up with new development to fix our problem! They did all of that on a Saturday! Amazing support, can't recommend this app enough, it's great, and the team behind it is even better. Thanks a lot and much success!

This app has its faults, but they actively try to resolve issues the best they can. The support is quick and knowledgeable. If there is a mistake they learn from it and resolve it quickly. I am not certain it is for everyone, but it could help your site with conversations as some influencers have suggested. I suggest you give it a try through the trial period once you've finished the testing phases and have some active sales daily. The trial period would be best used then imho.

They instantly refunded me. //I am extremely upset. I dowloaded this app once, used it for an hour an uninstalled it. I only used the 7 day trial. They still invoiced me 20 dollars for the premium function of this app. I was told that an subscription on shopify ends by uninstalling the app. But booster app still charges me 20 dollar for a service i never wanted and never choose to use. I would give zero stars, if i could.

I got this app because I can manage different discounts with different minimums, also because it helps to upsell by displaying text under the item the customer added to cart... buy another one and get 20% discount... things like that... but what I really don't like is when customers from abandoned carts return for purchase, the discount is not applied, resulting in lost sales... This is what support had to say about this issue: The reason why abandoned carts do not receive the discounts is that when the customer decides to go back to finish the order, they go straight away to the checkout page. Please take note that for the discounts to be applied, the customers should pass through the cart page. If they go directly to the checkout page, they will see a message that the discounts are not applicable anymore. ...... Well I can't control the auto recovery abandoned cart emails...... Not sure if this is they way discount apps behave, but for customers, if a discount is offered a discount should be applied no matter what, from the cart, directly to the checkout, etc, etc.... so I have lost many sales

I really like Booster Apps, but unfortunately this one completely broke my store. Most notably it broke my quantity selector so it could never be more than 1, but also completely changed my home page format to the original one - pretty frustrating. Hopefully they will fix it as I see other reviews with similar feedback lately. Strongly recommend you save your theme code before installing!

The worst app ever. Discounts don't work for multi currency and subtotal discount doesn't appear on the cart page. Reached support one week ago. First, they told me there was a problem with my multi currency app, so i changed it with the one they recommend. Nothing changed. Then they told me that probably some other apps were not compatible with this one, so to check without them and remove all the code. I did it but still the app had the same issues, now i deleted the app to replace it and left some code. It's simply shocking for the most expensive tiered pricing app only. At least you expect that would work properly. Also if you revert cart settings you will lose all the editing made on your theme, simply crazy. Shopify should ban this vendor and app, 80% of positive review are from people who have just installed the app. Worst experience ever

This app takes a while to get used to. Once we've been playing around with it, it works really well. The only thing we wish it could do is to be able to combine discount codes that customers can only use once and codes that will expire. If it has this feature added to it we will stick with it forever.

Who runs this app? I contacted support because discounts did not work when checking out in certain currencies. They asked me to change my currency converter to the one they recommended, I contacted my currency exchange support team then and they told me to ask shopify. I contacted shopify and they indeed told me the problem is with this app. I will be removing and switching ASAP. I removed my old currency converter too and changed to the one they suggested, NOT WORKING! Customer support has IGNORED my emails for 10 days now. No thank you, my customers do not wait 10 days. Update: After the review they reached out to me and gave me a free for life plan due to the "misunderstanding" and they promised to fix my issue. Got the free plan, waited a few days only to find an email today saying they didn't support multi-currencies which to me sounds like UTTER B******T! I checked my orders, they COMPLETELY broke multiple currency support for the currencies that WERE working fine before I contacted them. I had to refund a BUNCH of customers this morning, deleted this app and have found alternatives. Not to mention, I got another email today (a reply from the chain of emails that started from before I posted this initial review) of another customer service agent telling me I cancelled my plan a few days ago and THAT is why it was no longer working. I wanted to laugh out loud. Not only did I have their free for life plan that was in the chain of emails which should have been read, but the discounts were working, only EXCLUSIVELY for USD now. Of course, according to my orders the support for the currencies that were working stopped on SUNDAY, I was only informed on MONDAY (apparently that they never worked or supported multi-currencies, but they did).

The app itself is good but their support is non-existent. In the beginning I've had a technical issue that prevented the discount codes from working when entering them via the cart page and it took them very long to fix it, then I simply asked them to make a small part of text bold, which I'm sure would have taken them 2 minutes to adapt. 2 weeks later it's still not done and not even an expected time window. Their email address is a black box and if they happen to answer after more than a week they either ask a useless question that was already solved before, misunderstand something that you wrote them or answer your questions only partially and then you can wait another week for a reaction. If you're spending a lot on ads I wouldn't rely on them. Update 26.09.19: About 2 weeks after the review there is still no reaction from them. It's impossible to get any support from them. I'm losing my patience and am amending my review from 2 to 1 stars, as it's starting to get ridiculous.

Firstly, there are MANY bugs with the app. Customer support is horrible. They did not respond to me after several days, so I had to send out a second email (for a VERY important issue/bug that needed to be resolved urgently). They finally responded but failed to resolve the issue. I uninstalled their app and will never download their products again. Also, SNEAKY pricing. They charge you based on the type of shopify plan you have. They never even mention their pricing tables, you have to dig that up yourself. Horrible vendor and terrible customer support + bad app with too many bugs. Avoid this junk. I promise you that you won't have a great experience. Not sure why shopify even allows them on here still...

When it told me pricing if gave the wrong price. I have shopify basic so the price should be $19.99 (at least that's what it says in the App Store). I canceled the install and tried it again. If offered me a 20% off coupon and put the price to $23.99. Still wrong I tried it again and the price went back up to $29.99. Finally I just approved the incorrect charge to move forward. Created a discount and it didnt display in any way, shape or form on my product page. Clicked the live chat icon (in the middle of the day) and no one available. Gave up.

Currently testing the app and so far so good, it is working 100%. Why I rated it 4 stars is there are still some improvements that could be made: 1.) Currently the discount codes applies from the original price and not on the price that was already discounted by volume discounts. I hope there is an option to change this. 2.)Offers could not be named, I wish the offers' name could be set so that it would be easier to look for an offer rather than slowly reading multiple lines of nearly identical offers.

The people behind it are super helpful in ironing out any details and the application itself is very clear and easy to use. If you are wondering why not 5 stars it's because although it says it works with promo codes it doesn't work with all kinds of promo codes and the way they interact together is not ideal.

Very disappointed with this app. When I installed the app it changed our shopping cart and duplicated product descriptions. I emailed them over three times with screen shots and they refused to acknowledge or fix the issue. It's going to cost hundreds of dollars to have a developer fix it. Not to mention this is a week before BFCM. I would be very careful with this company as they are not responsive what so ever.

Be very careful if you decide to try this app. It rolled back changes on our theme that we did for the whole month of September. And there is no way of fixing it. Had to do manually all over again. Plus it is not compatible with several Shopify popular paid themes like Showtime and Cooktime - it shows very ugly scrambled text at the bottom of tour product page, nothing like advertised.

We've been searching for a Quantity Discount app for our Shopify website for some time now. The worst ones made us duplicate our inventory which left a messy looking back-end product list along with foreseeable issues with other apps that need access to the product database. Other options we tried looked good but did *not* offer whole-cart-quantity discount which we really needed (we are not concernt of how many Widget A's a person buys, but rather how many total items across all product types). Discounted Pricing did this for us. One thing we really enjoyed was just how CLEAN is in terms of integration with our theme. This app utilizes dynamic on-the-fly creation of discount codes to achieve the end goal. Pretty clever actually! The ability to customize the display snippets was very good and the admin interface is top notch. Although I didn't mind the out-of-the-box CSS/HTML, I did go ahead and modify by hand to make for the best looking integration possible (this is always the case for a perfect looking website). I'm very pleased and would gladly recommend this app even if it is a little pricier that others and customer service isn't always the quick. Thanks Booster Apps!

There was a day where the App stopped working on my store, but other than that it's been solid. If you have an issue, just make sure to post a comment here instead of sending a customer support message - they will respond to you a LOT quicker. What others are saying about it is accurate. Overall easy to use and set up, although it could be a lot cheaper.

This app is great for discounted pricing. I have seen an increase in revenue and the biggest thing I love about it is that it doesn't create additional variants. I have used QB from Bold before but dealing with additional variants was a nightmare and not to mention fulfillment also gets complicated especially if you are using Oberlo. Stay away from this app and app creator! Horrible app experience - I used both the Discounted Pricing and the Upsell Bundles apps - first of all neither app ever worked for my site. Then it actually broke our shopping cart, making us lose money and lose orders. Then when I uninstalled the app, it did not remove the file that was breaking our shopping cart. And it kept re-creating over and over one of the files that kept breaking our shopping cart keeping customers from checking out. This happened again and again and again until I was able to find and remove every single reference and every single file related to both of the apps we had installed from Booster Apps. During this process I emailed their support to ask for help to remove all the files. But they totally ignored my request for help. Stay far far away from this company's apps unless you like your shopping cart not working and you're okay with support ignoring you if you have a problem with their product.

Works well. A few things: 1. no documentation explaining Discounted Pricing Method: Line by line discounts vs Single discount code. 2. For "Spend Amount - Get Discount", the product page bar should update when the cart crosses to the next price tier 3. Forces you to switch to a page cart. If you have been using ajax, and your theme forces customers to Cart page immediately upon Add to Cart, expect to have to redesign your cart page or Add to Cart functionality so as to encourage customers to continue shopping.

This app is really awesome of all the quantity pricing app I reviewed. It has the ability to offer minimum spend discount and minimum item bought discount as well and the ability to offer to specific customer groups only which was what I was looking for. With Bold, they wanted me to spend another $200 for merging 2 of their apps together to get this function in addition to paying monthly fees for the 2 apps.

This app seems like it should work but there are a lot of bugs and their support doesn't reply to any of your questions. Here is a breakdown of my experience. 1. I'm having issues with their app working correctly with multiple variants and nobody has contacted me back in 7 days now. If you need support or answers from this app don't use them because you will never hear back. The few questions I actually got answers to where one sentence and my follow-up questions were never answered. 2. If you are using Acerill product booking app do NOT use this app because none of the variants will pass through to your order page in the admin. The checkout will look like it works but as soon as it's processed nothing will appear in the admin. This is very strange because Acerill is one of the apps shopify suggests so there has to be something wrong with Booster Apps solution. 3. Another app that is recommended by Shopify is Infinite Options by ShopPad. Like the previous comment, this app doesn't work with Booster Apps product. All of these things are extremely frustrating but I still need to say the thing that kills me is their lack of response to support questions.... sad because this could be a good app.

I like the app and it has a lot of potential. But: offers in can only be made in % but message in cart is in £ - i.e. I offer 5% discount when you buy more than 3 items in a category, yet the message in the cart reads "buy 3 and get £5.00 off It would be really useful to be able to schedule the offer it would be great to be able to choose between % and a fixed amount

Got it up and running without any problem. All works as advertised. Minor issue to mention, when bulk discount is applied the discount code field is not showing in the checkout page anymore but in the cart page. This can cause a confusion to the clients and needs explanation (hence the 4 stars rating).
