Not recommended at all. Their pricing strategy is unreasonable, and they repeatedly block users while pushing for upgrades. Once you reach a certain user count, the app becomes unusable unless you overpay. You end up being charged without receiving the service.

BY FAR, our favorite app on Shopify!! The quality of this app is incredible, the customer service via chat is lightening fast, friendly, and helpful (and HUMAN). Gratisfaction has made a huge difference for our small, family business. But don't shy away if you're a big company. This app is absolutely rebost enough for all business shapes and sizes. Think before installing this app. I uninstalled this app 4 days ago, but the apps code snippets are still present in my theme's liquid file. I’ve emailed the developer multiple times requesting them to remove the leftover code, but I haven’t received any response yet. I'm truly disappointed with their service. This app creates a lot of issues and barriers. I would not recommend it.

What an amazing app. So this app gives you all the features of the Social Boost giveaway app, which is already one of the best giveaway apps, but also gives you a full Loyalty Rewards host suite. Yes, that is correct. I was amazed at the features of the program. This app saved me lots of $$$ per month as I ended my monthly subscription with another Loyalty app. Praveen is great at onboarding and is always there for support. The 24-7 support is also amazing. The app's giveaway feature also allows us to run in-store giveaways, which we connect to our FB lead ads to draw traffic to the store. You can also run one-day giveaways for live events. The list goes on and on. What a great buy! My team and I are so excited about our purchase. IF I COULD RATE THIS 10 STARS I WOULD. Thanks again to the MAV TEAM!

This was one of the only points apps available when we first opened. It was increasingly expensive. $2500 a year in order to be able to accommodate our customers with very little features. - does not work with POS - does not process returns - does not allow customers to change their contact info (have to email app) - hard to navigate the system and find settings. - auto sent customer email to remind people to use points without asking us. Just did it randomly one day after 3 years of using it (so many people redeemed points in the weeks to come that was not planned) - no limit able to be set with "pay with points" customers redeems hundreds of dollars in one transaction. The one star was earned because the customer service was always good. They always got back to me quickly although VERY pushy with upgrades. Which is what prompted me to start looking for another app. There are better apps available that work great with retail store using POS and online, for half the cost. We have 4,000 existing points customers and growing, for a size comparison and pricing.

Our company previously used this plugin/app on woocommerce and continued using it when switching to the Shopify platform. Customer support is great and has been able to make the change happen quickly and with minimal problems. Used the giveaway feature. The support team is awesome, I emailed about an issue I was having and they helped me fix it quickly and then gave me extra helpful tips as well! Thank you so much! Giveaway has really helped me grow all of my social media channels all at once which is critical for a small business. The pricing model is one that I love the most, freemium where all the options are open and we as merchants and the app startup grow together. April 2023: I'm updating my review because I do think this is a great tool in terms of possible functionality, but the back end interface is *INSANELY* complicated, to the point that I can't figure out how to use most of the features - there are menu options across the top of the screen, plus all on the side, then you get more options int he main screen depending on what you've selected, and yet none of them seem related to each other, and I can never figure out where to go to do what I want to do. I've also never been able to figure out how to make options like popups or social or email campaigns work. I'm honestly just not smart enough for this app. I've just been keeping it for the sake of the rewards points button on my homepage, but recently a second widget button mysteriously appeared on my storefront and I have no clue how or why. I can tell it's from this program cause it's showing the same points and redemptions when I log in, but i can't figure out how to change the terrible placement or turn it off. I gave up and just turned off the original widget, but WHHHYYYY would this tool put two different buttons both on my store? I didn't attempt to reach out for help, because I reaaaaaaally don't enjoy interacting with folks for technical support, especially on something that should be easy, and i'd rather just give up and switch to a different tool. :( At this point, i can't figure out how to use most of it, so I've decided to switch to a simpler and less expensive tool since I don't think i'm getting most of the use or value out of this one. :(

I am very impressed with this app. It can do everything that we wanted it to do including integration with LOOX. The configuration is quite simple once you figure it out. I’d strongly recommend Shopify to take a look at this app and what the developer is doing with the traffic. Several things we were only able to see when we started testing the app: Issue 1 - They are forcing a user to use a logging PIN (the use of this is neither explained or possible to remove) if the user returns to the contest. There are several problems with this - the pin is logging the user in the app itself, not my website - the purpose of the pin is not explained anywhere, so it’s very confusing - the app generates a new pin with every action a visitor takes, just to add to more confusion - there is no way to disable this feature even after I contacted their customer service they were not able to do it. Issue 2 - Share on Facebook post prominently displays this Apps name and it looks as if they are organizing the giveaway. There is NO mention of our company name. This was not removed even after we paid to remove their name from the footer. Issue 3 - If you don’t set up a page with the contest on your website the link your visitors will share will only take the new visitors to their app, and there will be no way for the new visitor to get to browse your website. The app is also very limiting when it comes to customization of how it appears on the site. We have tried working with their support team on all these issues and got nowhere.

Gratisfaction App is amazing! I Love it because have a lot of templates and options already to use for campaigns, which I don't have time to prepare it, the design is very nice and minimalist. They offer a free plan to start with all the options included and just when you grow you pay another, in my opinion, a fair price too. Another thing that I really appreciate is the customer service. They are very good, they really response fast, are helpful, kind and generous as they personalise some detailed to my shop. I searched for an app to create a rewards program for my store. I tried two that was highly recommended but the features were limited and the interface was not user friendly. As a customer I love to get reward points when I shop, so it was only natural to offer the same to my customers. My only problem is, I can't get it to work. Whenever I hit 'SAVE', i get a white screen with a loading sign that turns and turns forever. It freezes my browser, I have to refresh, and it erases all the changes I made. I contacted support, they told me I might have automatically signed off. So I signed off voluntarily, signed in again, still the same thing. I just lost 2 hours translating everything to get my page in French, and its stuck on loading... Its very infuriating :( Anyone knows how to fix this ? Thanks !

I researched many rewards apps and I have to say this is one of the BEST! Great features and best-in-class customer support. Praveen assisted me with all of my questions and customization requests for my website www.beautybossShop.com. He made me aware of upcoming features that will be released in the next 4-6 weeks that look VERY valuable. The only thing I would add is an Affiliate portal feature which would be a GAME-CHANGER. This would allow them to basically offer 2 apps in 1 to compete with others in the affiliate referral space. This is a win-win for everyone!

This seems to be a pretty great app. Easiest app to install. Time will tell if its user friendly and bug free. Cons: It has a birthday reward for entering their birthdate but can't find where it generates them anything on their actual birthday (coupons, extra points on that day, etc). So you'll probably need another app to send them coupons. There doesn't seem to be a way to give them extra points though.

I have performed a "trial run" on the majority of the loyalty & rewards programs Shopify has to offer in anticipation of the launch of our new website. Gratisfaction by Apps Mav loyalty, rewards & referral App is by far the most flexible, easy to use, easy to customize & has more features & more ways to "reward" customers & has the very best customer service than most of them put together X 2! I know because we've been there, we've done that! It is so easy & has been an actual pleasure getting to know the App & learning its seemingly never-ending opportunity to reward customers. You can also reward customers in unique & cool ways. Most of the other Apps are very limiting in that regard. Gratisfaction goes farther than the other Apps in the way that it allows you to actually "engage" with your customers. Actual "engagement" is something very important to loyalty & this is a key component the other Apps leave out. Gratisfaction's dashboard is unique in that everything you need is all right there at your fingertips. Some of the others require that you "go here for this" & "there for that" making it confusing & requiring unnecessary trips everywhere. Gratisfaction is extremely easy to get started & to learn your way around. No HTML required. A lot of the other systems say "No HTML" is necessary until you get into it & realize to do what you want, it is absolutely necessary. Gratisfaction's system makes it easy to understand what you are actually doing & why. The pricing for this App absolutely cannot be beaten. As branding is very important to any business, we take it especially seriously. Gratisfaction offers an option to add your logo & other branding effects which we are taking full advantage of. When it comes to service, Gratisfaction really shines! There are no forms you have to fill out, no "ticket numbers", no waiting to hear back on your questions, no unknowledgeable representatives writing back stock answers for the closest thing that your question fits into. Apps Mav provides a direct email for customer support & allows for you to ask whatever you want or need assistance with, however you want to ask it. Their service team is a small tight-knit group that includes the actual designers & builders of the App. This means they are all intimately familiar with all of its capabilities. It is not at all unusual to actually hear back from the President of Apps Mav when I submit an inquiry. I've also tried other non-loyalty type apps for various reasons in anticipation of our launch. By far, Gratisfaction from Apps Mav has offered me the best customer service over any other provider I have worked with here on Shopify. If you are looking at adding a loyalty, reward & referral App to your website, do your self a BIG favor & give Gratisfaction a test run! I have to give these people a lot of credit, namely Akash. He has been amazing at helping me get things right and set up well. Even on those really frustrating days when things don't go well. He manages make things better. Akash went above and beyond with his help, even recording a custom 5+minute long video to guide me along. I want to pay to remove their branding so I can support them, but I do not want to do that at this time because I want other businesses to be able to discover what a great Dev these people are and what an amazing App this is. If I could criticise.. I would say, the app isn't really snappy like Smile.io. That's what really made me like Smile.io...I found Gratification (this loyalty app) by chance on google. And it literally has everything Smile.io has BUT so much more...can I say literally again? Literally so much more. Another problem would be the z index is way too high, which is a problem for chat apps. You cant really place the widget many places other than the few designated spots. And the widget just doesnt snap open. It pops up and loads slowly like a website (not slowly as in a few seconds but it definitely can do with speeding up dramatically) I do know they are testing certain new things and bringing them out soon, so some of my issues may be fixed then. We will see, eitherway it is not a stopper. I am looking forward to setting up Tiers for my loyalty program! This really isn't just your average loyalty app. It is a whole workspace designed around keeping your customers buying more. It has so many tools and options.

I love this app. I initially used it because it has the Etsy integration but the customer service has been phenomenal. I get quick responses every time. I love that this app is pretty in-depth and not too complicated for my customers.

Fantastic app with great potential in the future. If your business has multiple social media accounts, you'll love this app as you'll get max benefits from it. What I love about this app: - The design matches with my theme (it looks modern and doesn't look like from 1990). - I can run giveaway and give my customers more reward points so even if they don't win, at least they get reward points that can be redeemed for rewards. This will encourage them to participate in future giveaways. - It doesn't create fake product listings because this app uses coupon codes as rewards. So no issues with product stock/ inventory count. - Fast and awesome customer service. Akash answered all my questions.

Amazing. This is the best loyalty program I have tried yet, and I have tried pretty much all of them. The prices are very fair, and it doesn't cost much to put your own branding on it! Great feedback from customers, and I would recommend to anyone. Easy install as well!
