Best of all is real support: Humans who understand their product and are willing to spend time on a video call helping you set it up to your requirements. Plus pretty thorough documentation. Dimensions for our product range varies widely, so dimensional shipping charges are a significant factor in our operations. Intuitive Shipping has helped us change from using markup and weight adjustment hacks to approximate our shipping charges, to proper dimensional shipping charges. Also, the fact that Intuitive Shipping can now sync dimensional data from Shopify metafields makes product data maintenance much easier. Product data can be maintained independently in one place, and your shipping configuration in Intuitive Shipping. Configuration can be complex, but that necessarily comes with the flexibility that the app provides.

We do a lot of dropshipping from multiple suppliers, with thousands of SKUs, varying box sizes, and many bulk orders. This app is incredibly robust and handles even the most complex conditional shipping scenarios. Because it's so powerful, there is a steep learning curve. However, once you understand the logic behind it, it becomes much easier to use. What really stands out is the customer support. Their technical support team is excellent—they respond to tickets quickly and even offer 30-minute video sessions to help work through more complex scenarios. I'm taking off 1/2 star because of the pricing tiers. As a seasonal business, the jump from the 500-order plan to the 2,000-order plan is too large. There really should be an intermediate tier between 500 and 2,000 shipments. During our busy season, we end up paying for far more capacity than we actually need.

Michael and the intuitive shipping team genuinely deserves this one. We came to Intuitive Shipping with a somewhat complex setup, multiple product categories (ovens, flour, accessories), weight-based pricing, regional surcharges, remote zone exclusions across Canada, and a bunch of custom rules. Michael was hands-on from the start, listened carefully to our needs, and translated what felt like an overwhelming project into something clear, logical, and actually fun to work through. Most importantly, we stopped leaking money on shipping. Which is a HUGE game changer. He made himself and the team available, asked the right questions, and never made us feel like our setup was too complicated. The platform itself is incredibly intuitive (pun intended), and with Michael's guidance, we were up and running way faster than expected. If you're a business with anything more complex than basic flat-rate shipping, don't worry. We have a chain of farm supply stores and have a very large SKU count that have a variety of different weights, sizes, and shapes that make local delivery pricing difficult. We used Intuitive and we paid for them to build out our custom local delivery rates. It's made our local delivery rates competitive, helped us recoup profits on previous deliveries we would lose money on, and has been a huge success. Through the process, Intuitive Shipping was incredibly responsive and helpful. We can't recommend them enough!

SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE! While starting out it was a bit overwhelming, once I scheduled a meeting with them they walked me right through everything! Once they showed me an overview I was able to set the rest up by myself with the exception of one little issue I couldn't get figured out. I scheduled another meeting and they walked me right through it. There was one small thing we weren't able to settle, and customer service emailed me shortly after with how to fix the issue. They followed up by email with every contact I made, and followed up again if I didn't answer just to make sure their follow up email was helpful. This is hands down the BEST support I have ever received from any app I've installed. I would download and use this app over and over again hands down!

The biggest standout is the customer service, genuinely responsive, patient, and willing to dig in with you to get even the most specific edge-case rules working correctly. They don’t just point you to a help article; they actually help you solve the problem. On the product side, the flexibility is seriously impressive. If you have multiple warehouses, different shipping methods, product categories, thresholds, zones, packaging logic, or “if this, then that” conditions, Intuitive Shipping can usually handle it. We were able to build out a wide range of real-world scenarios that most shipping apps simply can’t accommodate. With that said, all that power comes with some complexity. If your setup is more than basic flat-rate shipping, expect a learning curve. My advice: plan time for thorough testing of every scenario (and combinations of scenarios) before you go live. Once it’s set, it work perfectly, but it’s worth validating everything end-to-end to avoid surprises at checkout. Overall: powerful, flexible, and backed by top-tier support. Highly recommended if you need advanced shipping logic and want a team that will actually help you get it right.

After some issues with shipping at checkout, we reached out to Intuitive Shipping to troubleshoot the problem. Michael at tech. support was diligent and persistent in resolving the issue, even going so far as to walking me through a complicated migration process at UPS, which should be the responsibility of UPS, not Intuitive Shipping. All in all, speaking to a human being via Zoom was wonderful, a refreshing throwback to resolving a tech. issue. This app solves a critical issue for us with calculating accurate rates because our dumbbells ship in multiple boxes and contain multiple items. We're able to manage the multiple items and dimensions accurately, resulting in incredibly accurate shipping rates between what customers pay and what FedEx charges our business. The Shopify native solution for FedEx is only weight based which leads to large discrepancies on large qty and line item orders. Intuitive Shipping eliminates this problem. The app works great, and I'm able to quickly import and export data needed to set product dimensions easily.

We use Intuitive Shipping across multiple Shopify sites, both D2C and B2B. Our use cases include oversized products and large wholesale orders, mainly shipping within the US and Canada. Before using this app, our biggest pain point was Shopify’s native shipping logic being too flat. You’re basically limited to weight or cart total, which just doesn’t work when shipping costs depend heavily on what products are actually in the cart. For us, shipping methods need to change based on product type, tags, SKUs, region, order value, and weight, sometimes all at once. Intuitive Shipping gives us the level of control we were missing. The shipping rules are extremely granular and can dynamically calculate shipping methods based on cart contents, products, and destination. This alone has helped us significantly reduce manual review and internal shipping overrides. Support is also excellent. It doesn’t feel like you’re talking to entry-level support, everyone we’ve interacted with feels very senior and understands complex logic quickly. They always reply within 24 hours, and honestly, their math and logic skills are probably better than mine. Highly recommended for stores selling oversized products or running wholesale/B2B operations.

This app is awesome! We are using it on our site where we ship various types of products with awkward combinations such as pallets and parcels and we have lots of postcode driven pricing rates. Until now we haven't managed a way to get an app to do exactly what we wanted it to do, instead we changed our product offering and prices to suit what other apps could offer. We got 90% of the way with the set up and couldn't get some of the combinations to work as we wanted. We reached out to the support team and Paul was amazing. From the initial zoom call to figure out our needs to the follow up emails everything was super clear and prompt. I would highly recommend this app - the one suggestion I have to anyone considering it, especially if you have complex shipping processes is to map out what you need from the app and engage with the guys early on - this would have saved us lots of time but we got there in the end!

This app has worked very well for our store. I have rather complicated shipping and I was able to set it up for a way that works for my products. I really like the activity feature that lets me see what was added to the shopping cart and the shipping prices that were presented. This allows me to go in and tweak the rates. The Onboarding session offered made the set up so much easier and quicker. But, the best part of this app is the customer service. I had an issue on the Saturday of a long weekend. Although it turned out to be caused by a break in Shopify (due to me upgrading to a higher level plan) and not with their app they responded quickly and were able to point me in the right direction to get a solution. They even followed up a couple days later to see if everything was working. Amazing team! UPDATE - MAY 2025. I have now used the app successfully for over 2 years. I recently had a complicated shipping scenario that I wanted to implement on the store. I wasn't even sure it could be done. But, I posed my question. Within 30 minutes not only did they respond but Paul provided a step-by-step video showing exactly what steps I needed to take. I was then able to easily implement the new configuration on my store. I can't say enough about their support.

After searching and trying many apps for shipping we found that Intuitive was by far the easiest to work with, their onboarding and tech support is really good . It is in Canada and thankfully on the same time zone as us. We were able to set up certain shipping rules and get our new website launched so we could start making money and offering our products. I had tried at least five other shipping apps before stumbling upon Intuitive Shipping—WOW! This app has been amazing. It integrates seamlessly with not only Shopify but also ShipStation. It has streamlined our different pricing methods and made our shipping cost calculations much more accurate. It has also allowed us to offer free shipping scenarios that differentiate between various carriers and product lines. What has been so refreshing is the customer support. I was able to speak with a real, live person who helped me set up our shop. They were incredibly knowledgeable and great to work with. I truly felt like a valued customer because the representative took the time to understand my needs and then helped me customize the app to fit our unique business model. I am so happy I stumbled upon this app—it has saved me a lot of hassle and is also user-friendly. While the app is a bit more expensive than others I tried, the superb customer service makes it well worth the investment. Plus, I didn’t find any other apps that integrate with ShipStation. I was excited when this app first launched because of its smart boxing algorithm and competitive pricing. At the time, I could even access USPS commercial rates through the app without needing my own USPS account, which was a huge plus. However, I always struggled with setting manual rate discounts to mimic Shopify Shipping Rates for my customers. Since I'm not a shipping expert or an API, the rates were often inaccurate—sometimes significantly off by more than a few dollars. This either led to losses on my end or overcharging customers, which hurt my business. Applying for my own courier accounts wasn’t a great option either, as I couldn’t secure the same discounts offered by Shopify Shipping or ShipStation. When Intuitive Shipping introduced ShipStation integration, allowing me to pull live rates using its dimensional weight algorithm, I was thrilled! Unfortunately, I’m now facing an issue with the integration, and neither ShipStation nor Intuitive Shipping seems able to resolve it. Each points to the other as the potential source of the problem, leaving me stuck despite following all troubleshooting steps provided by both. When I inquired about disabling the app and receiving a pro-rated refund due to the rate issues, I was told that it wasn’t an option and again that I could just connect my personal courier accounts. It feels unfair to expect me to revert to estimating shipping costs manually when one of the main reasons I stuck with Intuitive Shipping was the ShipStation integration. While I understand policies, I believe better support and flexibility should be offered in cases like this.

This app just works. You can set it and forget it, or you can tweak and change to your heart's content. The tutorials are easy to use and it is super-easy to schedule a screenshare meeting with their team. I've met with two different support techs and they were both incredibly talented and attentive to my needs. I've never felt like they want me to adopt their way of thinking, they always listen to my goal and help me use the software to achieve that goal. Give it a shot, you don't have anything to lose.

Previously I used another rate calculator app that used actual dimensions, that company was good too, however what won me over with Intuitive Shipping (similar price) was the user interface and support. We also use ShipStation so we appreciate the ease of connecting to that. So, if you are growing or need something more than what Shopify offers, you really should look at Intuitive.

This app is amazing! Has everything you could ever need for customising and accurately calculating your live rates at checkout. This includes the ability to add dimensions to each product and variable in order to calculate these shipping weights base don volume and weight. I find a lot of other apps are too limiting for our needs and quite often we would lose money on freight because the live rates were not calculated accurately enough. We really noticed with this app we don't lose out on shipping very often as our rates quoted at checkout are pretty accurate to what we are being charged. It is a lifesaver. As the app is so customisable, it can be a bit mind boggling to use, however, support are always happy to help you work through your requirements to find a solution or a workaround.

We have a VERY complex shipping system because some items can be packed with others, while other items have no business being anywhere near them. This app allows a us to make shipping possible without losing money because we were just "guessing" at prices. Now we can pinpoint exactly how much it all is. This app integrates seamlessly with our ShipStation account. The biggest issue is that it doesn't really know which UPS/FedEx accounts are what, so it can be a bit of a guessing game. But the support staff is attentive to your needs and willing to help in anyway they can, short of doing everything for you. Our shipping scenarios are a delicate house a cards, but the staff know how to handle things without damaging all the work I've put into making our shipping scenarios work well.

This is our favourite shipping app on the Shopify app store. We selected this app after testing several shipping Shopify apps since 2020. The user interface is simple to configure and is equipped with flexible cost adjustment options. It has been a great experience of using this app for the last 4 years. We have two DHL accounts and Intutitive Shipping seamlessly integrates with both our DHL accounts. It accurately calculates shipping rates, inclusive of all DHL account surcharges and local state taxes for both the DHL accounts and displays the lowest one for the given shipping weight at checkout. We weren't able to integrate both our DHL accounts in other non-DHL shipping apps we tested. The smart boxing feature helps us to select the smallest DHL package size based on the product dimensions. Besides being greener shipping, this also lowers the shipping cost thereby leading to a higher conversion rate. Their customer support is awesome. We areable to immediately book a 30 mins call to troubleshoot any configuration issues and then receive a quick email follow-up.

After working with Intuitive Shipping for a few years, I can say that it is the most flexible, most capable shipping cost calculation app currently available. Once everything is set up correctly, the calculations work very reliably. As with everything in life, there are some areas that could still be improved. For example, ZIP code brackets for various US states would be helpful for the initial set up. These must currently all be defined by hand, which can be tedious. The rule definition itself can also be complicated but Intuitive Shipping's support is top notch so figuring things out still works reasonably quickly. It would also be helpful to be able to sync or copy shipping rules across different shops. This is currently not possible and makes setting up more than one shop labor intensive. Last but not least, the plugin is pricey.

We migrated to using Intuitive Shipping after years of struggling with native Shopify shipping settings. This has really given us a lot more control over what and when we charge customers. The set up was a considerable effort due migrating multiple stores at the same time and due to the fact we ship to almost all countries from each store so had a lot of zones and prices to configure. However it was well worth the effort as we have significantly greater control now without the need to leverage developer support anytime we want to make a rule change. I have high hopes for how we will continue to get more from the tool in the future. Migrating to volumetric weights has been a long term aim and this app makes that possible! The Support offered from the Intuitive Shipping team has been first class and have always been very responsive.

This works great for me. I'm able to enter all my box dimensions and product dimensions. It then chooses the best box and packs the products accordingly. You can set the maximum weight allowed per box as well. Customer support is quick. I also offer free local ship for certain zip codes. It handles that. It was returning rates higher than what I was paying. I was able to adjust that by a percentage to pass the discount on. I don't think there's any other app that works this well and easy.

After porting our web platform from Magento to Shopify, I was struggling with the limitations of Shopify Shipping. Thankfully I found Intuitive Shipping! We have a complex inventory system on Shopify which requires a lot of custom shipping rules... Intuitive Shipping has made the set up of these delivery options very easy. The flexibility of their system has allowed us to set up rules to exactly align our needs, not confined to just weight or size. I'm using custom tags to set shipping rates, the options here are endless. I'm still not using the system to it's full capacity, but so far have found no issue which they cannot fix. Every time I have contacted support for guidance, they have been very informative and have found a solution to fit our bespoke needs. It seems all their team know what they're talking about, I can't rate this app, or their customer service, highly enough.

Shopify shipping leaves so much to be desired, so I was searching for an app that would help solve all of the issues I was experiencing. My journey to find a one-size-fits-mine solution to my store's many shipping issues was very much like Goldilocks and her journey to find the best soup and bed. I eventually came across the smart boxing app, which was great, but it didn't quite solve everything that I needed. Intuitive Shipping has tons of options and functionality that make it possible to do just about anything you need. We are using Intuitive Shipping on two of our flag ship ecommerce sites with great success. The app allows us to manage shipping rates for our corporate shipping accounts in a very granular fashion, based on weight, collection, SKU, etc. The app itself is highly configurable, which sometimes may seem complicated, but the Intuitive Shipping team is always ready to lend a hand to make sure everything is operating as needed. Support response is quick and in-depth. I highly recommend the app and plan to add it to all my Shopify sites.

Update a Year Later: I won't say that we haven't run into issues with this app and calculations, but I retain my 5 start rating because of the support team. Just wanted people considering this to know that we're still experiencing the same great support all the time and not just during initial set up. Original Review: We've had this app installed for about 24 hours (we had their original Smart Boxing app), and the support has been outstanding. We've been trying to do a lot ourselves, but have already had a number of abnormal scenarios where we've needed help, and have gotten near immediate responses. We haven't gotten to test out the app in a live environment yet, but I felt the need to write a review already because I'm so impressed with the support.

Intuitive Shipping steps in where Shopify's built-in shipping solution leaves off. They take care of things like smartboxing and keeping track of product dimensions, etc. Furthermore, they take care of our complex wholesale rules (scenarios) that apply differently to different customers and based on different spend amounts to different locales. There, so far, hasn't been a tricky shipping scenario that we've thrown at it that it couldn't handle. I think, perhaps, even more important than that, is their really excellent customer service team. Whenever we've had issues (including some that may have been caused by another app that failed to pass correction info along to Intuitive or where Shopify itself may have failed) they were always on the ball with customer service, support and response. They allow you to also book real calls with real people in advance who will (virtually) hold your hand while creating scenarios or troubleshooting problems. We're really happy working with them.

This is the best shipping app, period. This is the best support you will ever get, period. Plus they’re in Canada. Shout out to Paul for the best service ever. We have complex shipping needs. Multi-box, domestic & international, free shipping, oversize items, beyond destination charges, complex variants, markups and discounts and Intuitive handles them all easily. This app is saving us so much time on oversized shipping quotes now. It blows my mind that Shopify is so bad at shipping. Don’t even waste anytime with Shopify shipping, you can’t even add product dimensions! I have no doubt Shopify will buy Intuitive at some point for a lot of money and they deserve it. They have made a great app and company. It will take you time to setup all your product dimensions if you haven’t yet. Pay for the awesome white glove service to setup all your shipping scenarios fast. Trust me, Paul’s service is worth the price. I asked Paul so many questions that I started to annoy myself. He answered them all and continues to do so whenever we need anything. Only suggestion for improvement would be to create a warning in the admin that indicates there are products with no dimensions. Mainly an issue for big product catalogs and no fault of Intuitive but we missed a few dimensions on variants and customers couldn’t check out. The app does have backup rates you can setup, but on oversize items you might eat some serious cost before you realize your mistake. Run through the product spreadsheet 5 or 6 times to make sure you didn’t miss anything and make sure to add Intuitive dimensions as part of your new product process before launching new products. Stop looking, you’ve found the only shipping app you need. Great app, fantastic people, A+ from us!

It has a major flaw. The app does not notify you when any product is missing the dimensions or weight - and then customers can't check out. Dimensions or weight can be easily missed when duplicating or creating a new product. If no dimensions or weight exist, the customer will get an odd error at checkout which says "we cannot ship to your region". There is no further explanation for the customer. We have lost significant sales with this due to the lack of notice in the app about a product missing dimensions. One happened recently where somehow the dimensions disappeared from the product. We lost a month worth of sales on a major product until a customer notified us. The intuitive app NEEDS alerts on this because something that prevents checkout is vital to a store and needs to be handled immediately. The only solution given by the intuitive team is you can export a spreadsheet (manually) which lists items missing dimensions. What the app really needs is an email alert each time a product is missing weight or dimensions. This is literally stopping sales if it's not in there. So it is vital enough information that it needs an alert system.

We have products that may be small but have a lot of weight. I have used a number of different types of shipping calculation apps over the years with very little luck. We have been using the app for over a year now and it has solved about 90% of the issues we have with calculating shipping rates. It has a very detailed system for entering in the different boxes and envelopes /soft packages use. You can enter the outer and inner dimensions, maximum weight, empty weight, and cost. This help to get a better shipping calculation and you can add the cost of the shipping material to the shipping price. You can create shipping "Scenarios" for all different types of shipping. We ship out mainly FedEx Ground, but also sometimes FedEx Freight, and on a few small flat items USPS first class mail. We ship to domestics locations and international. We can create "Scenarios" to accommodate our products. Filtering out some products that are only shipped domestically. Also some products to ship out via USPS first class mail or FedEx it they are ordered with other products. The "Smartboxing" also figures out packaging very well. You can also add on handling costs and have the rate rounded up or down. Our products are not in retail packaging and are shipped out as parts. I would suggest adding an addition product dimensions to accommodate for packing material. Most of the app is very easy to figure out and to work with. I have had a few little things I have had issue with and the tech support have been very helpful. This has been one of they easiest and most comprehensive shipping rate calculating apps I have worked with. It has many features and it seems to be well thought out for different types of shipping.

We have some pretty unique shipping scenarios with our combination of local and shipped services, and no other apps we looked at could really give us what we needed. Our most complicated scenario being our services that need a mileage charge included based on actual travel time. Enter Intuitive Shipping. Any scenario we've asked about, we've been able to set up. We booked an onboarding/assistance call which was super helpful and easy to do. Any issues that arise (user error, not the app!) are resolved quickly (big shoutout to Michael Janes!). Even when an issue arose that they didn't have an immediate answer to, we were able to resolve it ourselves with their extensive knowledge base. The app's interface is clean and easy to navigate, and overall it's been a great experience using Intuitive Shipping.

Great concept, and does everything i needed, well sometimes it did. definitely has some bugs and issues. but the biggest problem is the customer service. you cant get in touch with anyone over the phone, by email only and they dont respond quick. i constantly had customers tell me they cant checkout even though they are within the "rules/settings". and there is nobody to give you any help. I switched to "shipping and delivery shipzip" and it works great with amazing customer service.

**UPDATE** The owner hopped on a call with me and customer support, immediately migrated new changes to the app, and fixed all of the issues with descriptions, product dimensions, and shipping calculations to mirror the old legacy system. Excellent customer service. While there still isn't a guide to the new interface and how it might impact legacy settings, the personal touch was very helpful, and they made sure the legacy settings remained and weren't overriden. They're also working on additional changes to streamline order packing slips and make it easier for our operational interface. The update completely screwed up the entire shipping calculation. They updated the app without emailing or communicating to anyone, so now rates are all over the place, and products are not properly categorized with "ship together" or "ship separately" settings. The migration was done EXTREMELY poorly and none of the original settings were maintained for individual products. We had to go back in and manually update all our products which were multi-boxed because we were getting bad rate calculations. Furthermore, now package dimensions are no longer being populated. That setting was automatically turned OFF, and once it's turned back ON, Intuitive doesn't display dimensions anymore. It just displays the title of the product. They expect you to go in and edit the title of the product with the right box dimensions, even though their app is supposed to "smartbox" everything.

I've used this app on previous stores and it really is great at customizing rates if you need to set them up manually when there's no carrier integrations available to pull rates. Support team is also very friendly and always respond quickly and are very helpful. Also provides additional features which native shopify setup lacks like being able to do $ or % off shipping rate discounts.

We have some pretty niche shipping settings that Shopify does not allow us to do. Been after an app for years that enables multiple factors in a cart such as weight, number of items and cost, all combined. Used Intuitive Shipping for two years to help manage cost-of-shipping struggles with multiple odd-shaped products in my store and print-on-demand suppliers. First of all I want to start by saying that this app does exactly what it promises to do, if you ship items in multiple boxes and need to plan the shipping rates accordingly then this the app for you, with dimensions, etc. Secondly, they have an unlimited free trial in 'test mode'. You can take as long as you need to set everything up without worrying about your trial expiring - your trial only kicks in once you actually activate everything. I don't think you'll find this anywhere else. Lastly, the customer support is simply unbelievable. Whenever I had a question setting up the app, within minutes I would get at reply with details. If I had to follow up, once again a reply within minutes. Huge shoutout to both Dylan and Paul!

We have been using this app for some time now and it has been a real lifesaver. We ship a lot of products that have restrictions and cannot be shipped by air, no problem, we only have to add a tag to the product and it will restrict the shipping choices to the allowed method. We aren't using true cubic shipping but we have set up scenarios where we tag products that are light but bulky so that it calculates the shipping using different package sizes thereby returning a more accurate shipping charge. In short, its very versatile and has allowed us to stop loosing money on bulky items without having to pad weights. I also really like the fact that it is easy to troubleshoot errors because you can see any instance where no rate was returned and see the reason for the error (missing product weight, invalid zip code, etc.) The support has also been very good.

Intuitive Shipping is a powerful app that can handle all of your shipping needs. We were having a hard time getting everything that we needed working to work, and Michael Janes in customer success sat with us and walked us through it all. He was willing to sit through several sessions with us to try and get everything working, was knowledgeable and extreme personable, keeping us calm through the whole set up process. If your rules get complicated, Intuitive Shipping can be a logic puzzle, but once you understand the difference between "Any" and "All" in the scenarios and rate blending, things pretty much fall into place. It would be nice if they integrated with other freight solutions than FedEx and if bulk editing was allowed in more places, but overall, it's a great app with a great staff to help you onboard.

I handcraft and sell dog beds and because the beds are large, all of my orders ship out via DIM weight which Shopify does not support. I found Intuitive Shipping as solution and I could not be happier. I am a total neophyte so I needed a lot of help setting up the app. I was lucky enough to connect with one of their representatives named Paul and he is amazing! He went out of his way to make sure that everything was working properly. He clearly should be wearing a cape to work because he's a superhero in my book!

I've downloaded and uninstalled so many shipping apps before finding the holy grail which fit my exact business needs. My business is conducted locally however it is divided into many districts and suburbs which all have their own delivery time slots provided by local logistics company. Intuitive Shipping has saved me a lot of headaches and more time on my business. PROS: conditions to fit all types of scenarios (locally or internationally), many options within options, AND/OR conditions (not all apps support OR functions), simplistic and easy to navigate UI and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the app operates within the default flows of Shopify. Many other apps have the delivery options conducted at CART page which can ruin the overall flow, theme, and feeling of the purchasing experience - this app follows the default Shopify flow which consumers are used to with no surprises. Their support is also extremely quick, friendly and helpful. Their team quickly solved a problem I was facing within a few hours - it was within their off-hours but responded once they opened. CONS: A bit of a steep learning curve to fully learn its massive capabilities - the FAQ and help guide is sufficient but wished for more YouTube tutorials from their channel for folow-throughs.

So i have this app for 1 month now, i just started my monthly fee period. It is really helping me out to edit all the shipping rates through my store and able to give all the necessary information to my customers. I had some question regarding the Shipping Scenarios and Combining Shipping Rates and book a video meeting with them (Paul and one of his other colleagues) and they helped me out a lot. From start to finish, I am COMPLETELY blown away by Intuitive Shipping! First let me say...it's so CRAZY to me that with as advanced (and "expensive") as Shopify is that they haven't developed a way for users to create shipping scenarios right within the app. I guess that's a good thing for app developers, but I digress. I needed help with getting some shipping settings together after launching two new products on my store. The guys at Intuitive Shipping (Hey Greg and Paul) literally saved my butt! The customer service was on POINT. They delivered fast. They broke down how to use the app. I could go on and on and on! Simply put: I am 100% happy with my decision to add them to my store and will be referring them to others who I know could benefit from this app. TRULY impressed (and GRATEFUL). Wish I could give you TEN stars! You guys rock!!

Intuitive Shipping really helped us with our store. Our shipping is now more effective and economical thanks to the tools in their app. It helped solve a lot of issues we were having with offering FREE SHIPPING on only certain products. They were also super helpful. Michael and the rest of team took their time to walk us though the initial set-up...and also later when we wanted to make our shipping rules even more effective.

If you are looking for something to deal with any type of Shipping setup, this is the app to go for. The other apps are good but IS really gives you the ability to build out any rule that you like, add markups, integrate with carriers and much more. The interface is friendly but also really powerful and I would advise making yourself familiar with how rules are built and really plan out the logic if you have a complex setup. IS can and will handle it as long as you set things up correctly. If you need assistance, the support is excellent - personally I have gotten myself in a few tangles and always gotten a solution back very quickly with clear instructions. Highly Recommended!

Our store (aaronpackaging.com) has complex and specific shipping needs. 1) We have products that we store in one of three different locations in three different States. 2) Each of those products can be purchased individually, or in a prepackaged case. 3) Two of our locations offer customer in-store pick-up. While the other location does NOT. 4) Many of our customers order cases, as well as a variety of additional products individually. Requiring their order be packaged and delivered in several different packages. 5) Some of our customers wish to use their own carrier accounts to pay for shipping, and need that option to be available. So, to put it short.. This app needs to be able to look at the order. Determine which products are prepackaged cases, and which are a loose collection of individual products, figure out the most efficient way to package them all up, then offer accurate shipping options to our customer that include our pre-negotiated rates with UPS, FedEx, as well as offer in-store pick-up, and the option for our customer to use their own carrier account. HOT DOG! This little app does it ALL! Yes, it took a lot of back and forth to set it all up. But their tech help is top-notch. Patient, and clear in their instructions. I am grateful for their continued efforts to support our sites needs. (Updated 11/3/21 to fix grammer)

Only thing missing (which I doubt is the developers fault) would be an option to sync of Shopify shipping costs (i.e. percentage discounts from published rates).

The help team at Intuitive Shipping, especially Michael, is incredibly patient and dedicated to getting this App working just the way you want it. And they'll walk you through all the steps so you can make updates on your own and not be reliant on them to do it for you. The functionality of the app is just what we were looking for: robust flexibility in setting rates based on product types, customer locations, membership status, etc. We couldn't find anything else that was as seamless from membership signup to shipping discount. Because of the number of ways it can be configured, there is a bit of a learning curve and necessary patience and persistence to getting it setup properly. But that's why Michael and team are there!

Great app that's helping select the correct shipping rates based on any variable. Since my shop sells various products with different dimensions, I need to be able to change the shipping rates based on what's being added to the cart (as a selection of products needs larger shipping boxes than others, which increases weight). This app does the job. The trial period was very convenient and the support has been great.
