The platform has been easy to use and implement, and the process of gathering reviews is relatively painless with Okendo. The billing and support have been the biggest issues, otherwise I would give 5 stars. We've been using Okendo for a few months now, and the onboarding process was a bit clunky. Okendo Support has been helpful answering our technical questions and dealing with billing issues, but it has been an imperfect process. Thankful for the Okendo platform, but it hasn't been an easy launch.

Very disappointing experience. They were helpful when they wanted our business and onboarding was fine, but after using Okendo for over a year, the ongoing support has been extremely frustrating. We reported serious issues with points, store credits, refunds, and tax-inclusive calculations. Okendo acknowledged the bug and promised a fix within 2–3 weeks. Three months later, it’s still unresolved, with no meaningful update despite repeated follow-ups. For an app handling customer money and rewards, this is simply not good enough. I do not recommend this app.

It has been nearly 6 weeks since i signed up to their programme and the review request emails are still not live and don't appear to be set up correctly at all. They offered 3 months free to join their 12 month programme, and now I know why. The delays and errors and sorting out are not what I expected. We have not even started on the Rewards Programme yet, and no doubt will take well over 3 months to have everything live .

The best customer support. I've had Okendo for a year now and I'm really impressed with their team. I love that I can always get connected with a REAL person. They have an AI chatbot that can answer basic questions, but doesn't pretend to be human and is always ready to connect you with an actual employee, no runaround to prove you need the help like other companies. I also really appreciate the level of support with account management and initial implementation. Kudos to Okendo for prioritizing having great staff in addition to a great set up.

Switched to Okendo recently. We were on Stamped for a few years but the app became super laggy after the company was sold. Their customer support also declined over the years. I wish we had switched to Okendo instead of YotPo because we spent the past couple of years hating the experience. YotPo was even worse for customer experience as they sent one review request email per product. Now, with Okendo - the team has been really wonderful. Ritwik, Karen and Andre have been really amazing. I've enjoyed the onboarding experience as they have helped us with almost everything. Their team handled all of the heavy lifting, plus they're super quick! What took almost weeks to months with YotPo only took a day or two with Karen. With setting up our widget - Andre has helped setting up and customizing our widget. He's been super helpful with optimizing our store. Lastly, really thankful to Ritwik for getting us to finally pull the trigger and switch.

I’ve been using Okendo for a while now, and honestly, the app itself is fine. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible — it does what it’s supposed to do. But the customer service? Absolutely awful. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this experience deserves it. Shiela, in particular, has been one of the most unhelpful support reps I’ve ever dealt with. She never replies on time, never follows up, and never actually resolves anything. I’ve been waiting three weeks for a simple update and she still hasn’t bothered to come back to me. It’s like sending messages into a void. For an app that charges this much, you’d expect basic customer service — not radio silence. At this point, I honestly don’t recommend Okendo at all. The tool might be okay, but if something goes wrong, good luck getting anyone to actually help you.

We initially started with just the reviews feature and never ran into any issues. Our dedicated Customer Success Manager has been great in helping us continuously improve the program. At one point, Okendo introduced us to their loyalty program. While they made a compelling case, we didn’t have the resources—or the immediate need—to make the switch. What stood out was that they never pressured us like many sales teams do. Eventually, we decided to give it a try as it offered a chance to consolidate several apps. The implementation team was fantastic (I'm looking at you Chelsea!). Knowing we’re a small team wearing many hats, they assured us the process would be low-effort on our end—and they absolutely delivered on that promise.

We're loving Okendo for reviews + surveys! We came to Okendo from a competitor and have been very happy since switching. It was very easy to integrate and set up. The UI on the back end is easy to navigate- moderating reviews and questions is very easy, as is the syndication feature which is very helpful for stores with multiple markets. We've recently started using some of the AI features and are excited to see how that helps us grow and convert! Frustrating, Overly Complex, Not Worth the Time I spent hours trying to get Okendo’s review widget styled correctly on my Shopify store and it was a nightmare. The interface is bloated, settings are scattered across multiple menus, and even after adjusting colors, styles, and modules, the reviews still looked completely misaligned and unprofessional on my site. We've used the Okendo Reviews since 2019. This review applies to their Reviews functionality as we have not used Loyalty or Referrals. Okendo Reviews, when it first came out, was a genuinely exciting and innovative app. It had more features than many of its competitors and much better pricing than the market leader. Up until a couple of years ago, I would have comfortably given Okendo 5 stars. This is no longer the case. They are increasingly focused on Loyalty and Referrals, and their Reviews side of the application has become somewhat outdated. It has received very few updates for a few years now, resulting in it becoming less full-featured than many of its competitors despite retaining the premium price point in the market. Specifically: - Its Review grouping feature is clunky, slow and poorly designed. It can't be automated by tag or metafield like other rival apps, and the syncing process can take over 24 hours, which is insane in 2025. For large stores with a lot of variants, this can become a major headache over time. - The internal search in the admin portal does not work. It only returns results alphabetically rather than by relevance. This means in a store with a lot of reviews, finding, moving, and tagging reviews is a painfully slow process. The fact that this has been left like this and never been updated/fixed is illustrative of their lack of attention to the Reviews side of their business. - Store reviews are very much treated as an afterthought and not particularly well executed compared to competing apps. They are clunky to manage within the portal, and Okendo's widgets do not display them particularly well. - AI Review summary. They have been late to market on this and have made it an additional paid feature, whereas most of their competitors have included it in the main offering. Considering the lack of updates in the last few years it's a pretty bad look for the first one to be late and a paid extra. I get no pleasure in writing this review, but I think it's important for other store owners to understand that Okendo reviews is not the go-to premium review app anymore and that things have moved on since a few years ago. If I were starting a new store, I certainly wouldn't have them at the top of the list of considerations. It works, but it's hardly the best, and it's starting to look tired and expensive for what it is.

Don't bother. There are far better apps out there. Okendo has developed such a convoluted app that simple features requires support for help, file uploads encounter constant errors, and reviews don't display. They then asked for account access to help fix it, but they didn't fix it. To make their app work they edit your theme and you have to republish your entire store. I mean, seriously.

Henry Thompson is THE BEST. We had a bit of a rough launch on our Referrals program with users finding a quick way to abuse the system, being told certain things could/couldn't work, and general confusion. We let Okendo know we needed more detailed help, and they sent Henry. We don't even feel like we need to ask questions, as Henry is always several steps ahead of where we are thinking and provides advice that makes PERFECT sense. The kind of advice an old friend would give you, that changes your world view. But, you know... With Okendo instead. Henry reviews our Referrals program daily presently, after making improvements to it, just in case something weird happens again. TL;DR: Henry is amazing, he's got us excited to work on and improve even already well performing aspects of our Okendo products!

We've been using Okendo Reviews for over 2 years and have been using the Loyalty program for at least 6 months. Everything works well, has great integration with Shopify and support is very good. The support side is getting better. Seems that as new features are launched, the support team (sometimes) seems a little behind. But nothing has impeded the user experience for our customers. It's not cheap, but the return is well worth it. Adding in an additional comment. Thumbs up to Henry Thompson (Customer Support) ran us thru some additional tools and really great tweaks to Klaviyo that will enhance our review and loyalty program.

The reviews feature are alright but quite expensive. We give 1 star because every single time we have an issue the customer service cannot help. It is like it young children working with absolutely no knowledge about the products and with no will to help either. They do not listen, they do not read, and they do not help. They answer slow even on live-chat letting you wait as long as it takes until you leave the chat and then hits you with "are you still here" and "we have closed this ticket please contact us if you need more help". Every single time. They let you wait 10-30 minutes for each answer. This way they let you wait for hours with absolutely no shame until you are tired and leave. Then they close the ticket and mark it as 'solved' (: It is absolutely astonishing the incompetence we experience from the customer service every. single. time. Also it's not a onetime thing - it's at least 15-20 different customer service agents with the exact same behavior. We will now find another provider to handle reviews for us.

KAREN - who must be the most patient person ever!!! has been very quick in identifing the problem by checking it in my shop herself. She send looms on how to fix it and while she was at it solved a couple of other problems I had as well. So all in all WOW!!! If you are a new business starting out (like us) you must download and use Okendo. Reviews matter signficantly to other buyers and also to the business for feedback. The Okendo help support is great in case you are confused or need help with something. It easily integrates with Shopify. You can customize the reviews with your own branding. It is great!

We have recently migrated our loyalty program over to Okendo and have been blown away with the support we have been given from the team. Scott and Alannah always went above and beyond with helping us build, migrate and launch our program and we simply couldn't have done it without them. They stepped us through the process, and contributed a lot of time and resources to ensure we were ready to go under our 2 week turnover. The Okendo app is incredibly more user friendly than our previous platform, Loyalty lion, and we have already seen developments in the backend, analytics and front end customisation since our launch and feel comforted about the speed of their developments and improvements.

I'm sure the app is great but the pricing information on the app page is deceiving. It says it's free for up to 50 orders per month and the only thing that changes in each pricing tier is the amount of orders per month. It's assumed that all features are included as the features listed are the same in every tier and it doesn't say otherwise. Once you install, however, and begin setting up, in order to have all the great features it boasts like quizzes, surveys, rewards/loyalty points, referrals, etc, you have to pay to add each one on. If you want everything it says it does (which assuming everyone does otherwise why would you have installed the app) it becomes like $139/month for up to 50 orders/month and jumps up from there for more orders. Very disappointing and such a waste of time. I never would have installed the app and integrated it into my store if I knew it was WAY out of my budget.

It does what it says on the tin. The reviews would be more powerful if there was the ability to review other "Types" of things, not just products... E.g. Blog Articles, or Recipes things like this.
