Very dishonest developer. BE AWARE. Be careful using this preorder app. We discovered that we’ve been overcharged for more than two years. The current subscription price is listed as $24.95, yet we were consistently billed $39.95 without any clear explanation or notification. When we reached out, the response we received was dismissive and unhelpful. We were told that our subscription “has never changed,” which does not address the discrepancy in pricing. Instead of a proper resolution, we were simply asked to email another contact. This experience raises serious concerns about transparency and billing practices. If you’ve been subscribed for a long time, I strongly recommend reviewing your charges carefully. Very disappointing and untrustworthy. For those who subscribed for a long period of time, please check your plan and they have lam excuse like below "According to our CEO, there was no email to you because your subscription has never changed. Please email our manager". We discovered the price plan when app bugs happened again. If you have large inventories, the preorder mode has to be activated one-by-one. No way to turn on all products at the same time. They adivsed us how to resolve this issue but it never worked out. We don't mind paying $39.95 on a monthly basis. However, when the subscription plan changes, we never get any update or email notification for us to reconsider. When we reached out to the support, Amai just mentioned we are on the legacy plan ??? Strongly not recommend this dishonest preorder app.

The Shopify App listing says I should be paying $24.95 a month. The payment page on the app says i should be paying $24.95 a month. I've noticed that however the app is charging me $40/month on my Shopify bill. I contacted support and they say it's normal and I should be paying $40, they refuse to honour their pricing. This company is ripping off their customers. Do not install, do not use, stay away.

Essentially, the system continued to allow sales of out-of-stock items indefinitely, despite my specific allocation of quantities for each product intended for pre-orders. Consequently, I'm dealing with numerous upset customers who are unable to receive the products they ordered.

I am not satisfied with this product at all. Since installing, we've just had problems. The biggest one was selling too many products and having to cancel some orders. The system just is not user-friendly and super hard to use if you have multiple variants. Errors occur way too easily. The support is somewhat helpful (hence the two stars) but otherwise I cannot recommend and will cancel my subscription and look for a better product.

The application installs numerous components that you haven't requested, and it takes an excessive amount of time to resolve the issue when you inform them about your refusal of the unwanted installations on your site. These components, such as non-removable widgets, cannot be removed and your "add to cart" button have a big delay when customers access your site. Even when uninstalling the application as instructed, all the widgets reappear, and they use (yet again) a substantial amount of time to remove them once again.

I waited for 2 days they never fixed it then blamed my browser for it not working while insisting that it's showing on their side... big waste of time and additional stress in an already stressful time. I have just started using this app 1 month ago and I find it to be the best one currently available, just note that it will take time to get it set up proper. I added pre-orders to 1000 products and it took about 12 hours to set up. Settings can only be edited on 50 products at a time so it can take awhile but I feel it's worth it for the benefits of managing pre-order separately. Also in case of theme compatibility issues, make sure to plan time to work with support to get it functioning properly but once they got it working, it's great. Took me 4 weeks to get the issues fixed, communicating with them daily M-F. I am excited to use this app now moving forward. So my advice is use the app, just make sure you have proper expectations of time before jumping in and be patient.

Early days using this app. Just installed and only using the pre-order feature. So far support has been great. I like that you can edit on a variant level and I LOVE how you can the cart button and info text to include a ship by sate which will pull through to shopify. I will update review as I use more features and have some data. So far so good. Update: the pre-order button for some reason was not showing up even when all product settings were correct, so I reached out to support for assistance. They fixed the issue within a couple of hours. Great support experience!

Although it did take some time, I received help on fixing the app to run smoothly on my website. I am currently taking pre-orders and the deposit option is very useful. So far my experience with this app has been really bad. Here's the list: 1. I installed this app 3 days ago. I'm still not able to use it because some of the features are not working properly. I've messaged multiple times for help, and their support has been really slow. I still can't get the app to fully function so I can start receiving pre-orders. 2. The app was not mobile friendly on my website right away. I had to message them to help fix this. A big box appeared which made users scroll all the way to the right just to read the text 3. It's very glitchy. I update one setting for a product and all of a sudden it changes everything. I try reverting it back to normal, but it doesn't work. Some settings do not work right away, so you'll most likely have to message for support. 4. The support is very slow. I'm still waiting or a reply on getting this app to work.

I really like the setup of this app. However I'm still in the free trial and using it on a live drop and the pre-order doesn't actually show on our sold out sizes even though it's activated. I trialed it yesterday to make sure it worked.. and it did work, but it took 5-10 minutes to change from "add to cart" to "preorder" after a size sold out. Is this normal?

The app didn't work out-of-the-box after installing on my site. They chalked it up to a theme issue. After about a day, they resolved the issue. Now, the Pre-Order Manager Dashboard screen and all other subsequent screens are not loading. I've tried several different browsers to no avail. I'd give this app a 5/5 star rating if it would just work as intended. If these issues can be resolved, I'm happy to update my review. *** UPDATE July 12, 2022: After hearing back from the app support team within 24 hours, they were able to resolve the issue and now the app is working great!

Amazin App!! It is Everything that I have been looking for in terms of managing Pre-Order. Easy to set up and responsive customer services. I set up everything in less than 15 minutes and 10 minutes after installing I already had 2 pre-order orders $$$. The app was very easy to install to use. Customization felt a bit limited, but that's also because I didn't really dive deep into integrating it onto my store. Great for beginners who need a pre-order app that just works straight out of the box. I used it for a presale that lasted a week, and the customer service team was readily available for any questions I had. The app also showed the analytics behind which products were purchased, which helped me with putting together my production order since the cheapest Shopify plan doesn't give you this information. I'll be using this app again in the future when I need it again!

I would have loved for this App to work correctly, two attempts and communication with their Dev team we opted to uninstall and move on. Have to regression test all functions in shopify it seems as it not really clear what this app left behind.... When signing out of the app after uninstall I got a "sorry to leave you mail. Even the link in the email does not work.... and the email states: "we are working hard to improve our app".... text from the supplier "P/S: If you had uninstalled the Pre-Order Manager app directly from the Shopify Admin panel without following this guide, please contact us (by replying to this email) to have the codes removed." This app destroyed my site. I've been on shopify since approx 2017. I've been growing my business throughout the pandemic and have great success reading these reviews and making good decisions with apps. I read the reviews, felt confident with this app and it's destroyed my site. I have nudey girl pop ups on my site, malware is flagging my site as malicious and my sales are suffering. I had to contact Shopify, the theme designer and AMAI to get it resolved. I deleted the app, according to AMAI's four step process and its still left corrupted code on my site. My site is still throwing up pop ups and being marked as spam. Shopify can't help me. The theme designer said there is definitely bad code and AMAI said they fixed it but it's still bad. If you want your themes' code destroyed forever.....try this app. Horrible!!

Let me start by saying, this app is great and it works very well to inform customers of a preorder HOWEVER we have thousands of products on our site. To make sure pre-order is enabled on a product you need to either a) Search for a product and check or b) select all store products and apply it (with 3000 products.. it takes a long time and often time outs) The filter area shows that there is an option to filter by products which dont have the pre-order function enabled but this DOES NOT WORK. I have asked support for a fix and they say it can't be done. It would be 5 stars if that worked - but until then 3 it is. I will continue to search for an app that has this feature but until then, this is the best i can find

This app keeps crashing and is not compatible with Safari. When opening the app on safari, it glitches and eventually closes out itself. However, when I open in Google Chrome, it seems to work fine until you click the settings gear to make some adjustments to your preorder wording and then crashes on you again. I have contacted multiple times, we will be reporting your app to shopify for a complete refund for all the months we have paid you. you keep lying to us and saying you are fixing the bug, its not getting fixing. It has been more than a month. the settings update is still giving error 500, enabling pre-order is not working for any new products, it says pre order button will show, but it does not show on the product page. The button is not showing. in the backend, it says pre-order active. inventory is 0, continue selling is enabled. Worst technical support ever.

Unfortunately, I cannot tell if this app is suitable for me, or not. The 7 day trial allows me to apply the app to only ONE product. I can't tell anything about how bulk editing works, I can't even know if the 'settings' that I change are universal or product specific. Additionally, the 'pre-order with discount' feature is switched off in the 1 product trial, so I cannot see how that works and how it displays on my site. If I want to know any of the above then I have to immediately pay the monthly fee. Rather defeats the objective of a free trial, methinks. UPDATE - thanks for the reply. I welcome the clarity. In my Shopify dashboard, it still mentions a 7 day trial. Additionally, I received an email from your Customer Success Representative who states "Should you wish to know more about how the App works? we are happy to offer a 1-month free trial if you decide to continue to use our app. Just let me know your Shopify URL and I will make a request to the management for a 1-month free usage. Do you want to clarify, further? FURTHER UPDATE - after removing the app from my store I found that not all the code was removed. This caused problems on my storefront and I had to remove the code manually.

Great app! Setup simple, and easily workable. Only issue is a problem that comes up sporadically where it won't tag that the order was a pre-order, which means somewhere along the line a customer might not have confirmed or saw that the order was a pre-order, as it won't record the notes in the order. Not a huge problem as it comes up once every 100 or 200 units and is easilbly remedied by contacting customer to verify. Could be a compatibility issue with the customers browser, but it is really hard to tell, as to troubleshoot customers need to divulge this information and every-time their support tried to verify this issue, they were unable to replicate. But not a huge issue, just could be better here. Otherwise, I'd give 5 stars, UPDATE 2/2/2021: We finally figured out the problem I was having with customers not getting tagged or seeing the messaging/pre-order button! Be sure to select "all countries", as persons with VPN even though their VPN is located in USA, they won't be able to see the pre-order button and messaging. It would be even better though if the app were to work well with VPN with setting limitations to match the store limits. But it is ok.

At first it was working great, but then it started selling out of stock products to customers without notifying them that they were pre-orders. I had quite a few orders go through right before the holidays and the customers were not happy when they found out that they wouldn't be ready in time for Christmas, because they thought the items they purchased were in stock. I checked everything to make sure the preorder manager and my inventory were properly installed. I really wish it worked reliably, because it's easy to use and customize, but it just isn't reliable and it caused damage to my brand.

We used this app for a couple weeks as we had our Bath Collection box available for pre-order. We only needed the Free plan so it was perfect and we really like the experience. A few days back we deleted the app in order to make the product available, however we didn't follow the unninstall procedures and we ended up messing that product page. Luckily, I message the support team which fixed everything in just a couple hours time, I was surprised with the rapid response and the professionalism. Like I said, we didn't pay for the app and still they treated us like we did. That is awesome! Thank you Charie and the app developers!

If you have 1 product store and you run out of stock, it really suck, as your income goes down significantly. With Pre-Order manager I was able to get some sales (not as much as if I had stock, but much more than when I just couldn't sell). Bug thumb up!

There are some limitations - unable to properly filter by keyword to find the products you need to set up being the main one for me. The insertion of tags across every single product, which makes for untidy tag filtering display on some themes. Not bad, but could do with a few more quality of life improvements.

It can let me filter by vendor, collection, product type, etc, however it can't edit the setting by the result in bulk, you can just select the result as shown, if more than 10 results, it take time to edit them page by page. Also it's doesn't support other apps to ask product in bundles.

This is a sensational pre-order app! VERY simple to use and searching for products to switch on/off is fast. Crucially, the pre-order button and pop-up message are well designed and would look good on any website. I switched to this pre-order app as the last app I used was very 'buggy'. The technical support is also excellent, and tasks are completed quickly. Highly recommended.

I am really struggling with this app - it's not counting down the stock so has the potential to oversell so can't not roll it out to all my 'coming soon' products. HELP is really nice but despite giving them access to my site, I am a week further on and still haven't got a solution - just a 1 line response from their development team which doesn't help. I am massively disappointed as this gets such great reviews and I had high hopes for it.

I'm really happy with this app! It's allowed us to easily continue getting pre-orders while we're out of stock. You can set it up so it automatically turns on when a SKU goes out of stock, and you can set you number of pre-orders allowed based on incoming inventory. The customer support team has also been super responsive and helped us get it set up. Highly recommend.

Ok, but pretty buggy and doesn't take into account the pay now buttons in some templates. Also, it is pretty deceptive in how it sneakily charges you automatically if you turn on more than one product, so you end up getting charged without really agreeing to it. It is also really hard to find out where to unsubscribe so that they stop charging you.

I only like to give a review after using an app for a while. I have been using pre order manager for 4 months now and I can finally give it a great review. We sell hundreds of different products and sometimes they go out of stock as the inventory is very difficult to manage. This app has saved us on numerous occasions. The customer is fully aware they are ordering a product that is out of stock and what date it should come back into stock. It has eliminated a huge amount of customer service that we would otherwise have to do if we wanted to continue selling all our items. So, on top of saving us time it has also made us a lot more money. If you advertise your products on Facebook you know how important it is to continue selling if you have a great ad. This app has allowed that to be possible.

It was easy to set up and use, and worked for the 2 days I needed it. I uninstalled it, but it left 2 tags on every single product that customers can see in Filters (spo-default and spo-disabled). Now I'm having to clean up and remove all manually which is time consuming. Shopify should crack down on apps that don't fully remove code when uninstalling. Using tags is not a good way to accomplish pre-order status.

I tried this application and I want to say that it is not suitable for a store that sells relevant goods, since it prescribes the same tags for the product. Moreover, I could not uninstall the application, according to the instructions, since it is not complete. I contacted the support service. They work very slowly. And they reported that they uninstalled the program, but that was not so. Hence the conclusion: your business can suffer greatly if you try to use this program. Do not risk it.

I have been using this app for some months now, I chose it because you can give different delay messages for each variants if they are not all due at the same time. Many apps do not provide this. I installed this app easily and had PreOrder products live within 15mins. Later that day I changed the "Store Theme" which affected PreOrder Buttons on website. After a couple emails the support team had the update corrected and live on website within the hour. I highly recommend the app!

**Update #3 (4 Days Later)** I'm updating my star rating because the team from SpurIT has been extremely helpful in resolving my issues. They have supplied me with a full refund for the erroneous charge and have given me lifetime access to the app to remedy my issues. Thank you guys for your help! :D **Update #2 (1 Day Later)** I have worked with the Lead Support Manager to resolve my issue. He was also gracious enough to issue me a refund for the $24.95 charge. I greatly appreciate how quickly these guys reached out to me and how professionally they've helped to resolve my unfavorable experience. As soon as everything is back up and running, my refund is processed, and I'm able to go in and try the app, I'll be reviewing my star rating! **Update #1 (1 Day Later)** I've been contacted by a customer support rep telling me I had 3 products activated. This might have been from a previous install a few years ago because apparently, you have to remove code from your theme page (which I only discovered this time). This install I only had ONE active product and was still charged. I have also been contacted (and responded to) the Lead Support Manager from the development company who offered to personally rectify the situation, which I greatly appreciated. I'll update here when and if I hear back. **Original Review** I downloaded the app and was pleased that with the FREE plan I would be able to utilize one product for pre-order. But I was disappointed and quite honestly offended to find that I'd been charged for the Unlimited New plan even though I only had ONE product active for Pre-Order. I don't like dishonest apps and am deleting this app immediately solely for this reason.

This is a tremendous app. The global pandemic has caused shortages of some of our most popular products. Rather than having people visit daily to see if items are in stock, we can take orders on a first-come-first-served basis. The only thing that I did to improve the situation is that I switched the payment settings on our site to only take an authorization. We will process the sale when the items are back in stock and ready to ship. I had some issues getting the button to work with out template, but the team solved it in under 20 hours. Great work! Paid for itself in the first few hours.

This app has a pretty big flaw that needs to be addressed. Basically it won't change the button to a "preorder button" if the user has a non-preorder button in their cache. In layman's terms, if the customer has viewed ANY other product pages (with their respective buy buttons) before going to a preorder page, they won't see the preorder button or button notification information because the normal "add-to-cart" button is still in their cache. So the app only works if the customer hasn't viewed any other products first, which is a fairly common thing. Spur-it only offers one solution which is, and I'm not joking here, "Just let your customers know to clear their cache" Yea, sure, let me just tell each customer to clear their cache before looking at a preorder item. Heck, the main reason for having a preorder Button is that customers don't read jack & squat, and need to be informed at the point of purchase, so this bug undermines the entire purpose of the app. It needs to be fixed before I can recommend this app to anyone because customers get REAL angry if they buy something and it doesn't show up when they expect it (which will happen if the button doesn't switch to a pre-order button and they assume it's just being added to their cart.) The customer service team was responsive and listened to my complaint and says they plan to address this eventually, but until the app itself is fixed, I cannot endorse it. I hope one day to return and switch this to a 5 star review.

This app does not work corerctly and made us have serious problems, so pelase read carefully. And each time you contact the support, they say it is not their fault, it is due to the cache. But even when you clear the cache the problem is still here. Don't install it, you'll get into many troubles. First : the worse problem we had with this app is that we fixed limits for per-orders (according to the stock we were about to receive) BUT the app didn't blocked the orders after the limits were reached. So we sold 711 items that we won't receive! You can imagine the problem of contacting and refunding 711 customers and the bad image of our company that it gives to the customers! Other problem : the message that appear above the button "pre-order" changes very randomly. So, in may 2020, our customers could see that we will deliver our pre-ordered goods in january 2020 ! Because it showed the previous message. And even if you clear your cache, it does not change but the support tells you that if you browse on "incognito tab" you can see the changes... but who browse in incognito tab actually??. Another problem : if you need an export of your pre-orders (for exemple to identify the 711 customers to who you've sold unexisting goods because of this app), then it does not work. The export keeps loading and loading but you get nothing except an error message. And when you contact the support they say "there is no issue, it works on our computers" but the problem is that it does not work on their customer's computer... I've even read another review with the same problem. In short : run away from this app, you'll save time and money and will avoid deluding your customers and you'll avoid losing credibility.

We are launching a product tomorrow and decided last minute to add a pre-order app because we know the product will sell out quickly. I had tried two other apps previously, but was not able to get the app working as quickly as I would have liked. After waiting a couple hours to hear back form their support, I became restless. Third time's the charm right? So I downloaded Pre-Order Manager. I still had a couple issues, but the game-changer was the customer service. Their in-app chat feature had me connected with a support agent within seconds and I not have the button fully functioning after less than an hour. NOTE: My store has a custom theme, so I needed additional help with the code. I was also able to get the button on our quickshop page which is unavailable with the other apps I tried. UPDATED: the customer service team reached out to fix the problem promptly. BEWARE: this app clashes with Bold Subscriptions App, even if you delete it. I wish I knew this before installing this app, and I thought there was no risk with the free trial. Now I need to comb through the code to clean it up.

The app is good, but it would be really helpful to be able to download a csv of your pre-orders, and to be able to sort the orders better on the analytics page. The app is simple and does a good job. The customer service is really helpful and the app saves us a lot of time. We've had plenty of pre-orders and it seems really clear to the customer that they're pre-ordering.

Changed recently to this app from another one and really liking the ease of it. Fast response from app team at install when had a query. Yes, it's a little more expensive than some others, but worth the extra cost, as very intuitive, auto puts out of stock items onto preorder and saving us a lot of time from manually checking items. Basic functions are not in the app. If you update your customer messages when an item is out of stock, it doesn't update them on the page if a customer has been on that product page before.The developer told us that the customer would have to "clear their cache" because their app isn't able to do that. Ridiculous.

As other reviewers have said, I'm also using this primarily for backorders instead of true pre-orders, but it helps immensely. Being able to cap the number of orders taken is exactly what we need to manage our stock and keep selling when items are almost back in stock but not quite there yet. When I've had questions or issues with the app the support has been great, I recommend it highly if you need this functionality in your shop.

The search function doesn't work. So you have to scroll thru all your products or use the filter button to filter by collection. Customer service has no clue what they are doing. They keep asking irrelevant and odd questions. I was told in order to help me they need to know which app and I had to send the name with all the symbols and spaces. What does that mean??? Going to delete it and choose another app. Additionally I received emails from other customers complaining! One store wasn't receiving full payment which is even more disturbing. NO THANKS.
