When used in conjunction with Shopify via the Connector/Integration tool: As per other reviews. Used to work well but now endlessly frustrating. Won't launch from Shopify: "Your account has already been successfully migrated". Functionality appears to have transferred to run directly in QB where it is seriously flawed. Lacking any form of guidance. An email would have been nice since this was obviously a planned event! 1) QuickBooks has a habit of enforcing unproductive changes! We now spend longer manually reviewing items that previously synced from the website seamlessly. 2) The attempts at AI integration are terrible **Update** We have received email support but this only confirms the loss in automatic functionality. If you think QB will save time running a website think again. There is an explanatory video which details the new manual steps required. If you don't sit on this 24/7 then stock and invoicing in QB will not be accurate!

The original qbo connector app worked for years, this newly launched version is garbage! it is using inactive tax codes / auto put a custom sync date of October 2025 (creating duplicate sales & tax amounts) requires reviewing on things that never needed previously and is over all not relying on templating or rules. I have reached to to both QBO advanced support and integrations but they will not escalate the problem without jumping through ridiculous hoops and wasting hours of my time... They are using live stores as a sandbox to work out bugs on the fly... Intuit you can and should have done better (0 stars)

I'm gutted. They completely destroyed the app. It used to auto-sync my Sales Receipts from Shopify to Quickbooks, but now it doesn't and support have even admitted functionality has been reduced since this new update. VAT doesn't sync properly, the shipping line item doesn't pull across correctly and receipts are not auto-created. Was on to support for 5 hours and it remains completely unresolved - they are just using AI to repeat back what you've said. Such a shame as it was all working fine and has now caused mayhem within my business. This is the problem with relying on third party app (and a warning to others) - things get updated/changed for the sake of it (without notifying the customers) and it causes major issues - as per other recent reviews have mentioned. We now have to look at getting developers in to revert back to the old way. Might have to delete the app. I've requested it to be escalated but not heard back. Second time this year the app has stopped working. No sync since the 13th August. Last time it wasn't working for almost 3 months! They have forced another update and it is not working After having almost 3 months of this app not working they have reinstated the old app today. Sherwin did a good job of sorting that today. Fingers crossed they don't change it again now. It has caused a huge amount of stress and disruption and should have never happened. The forced update in January was a complete failure and never worked. The management should have acted a lot sooner to rectify the problem

I admit when we first started using this connector back in 2025, it worked well and the team helped us actively troubleshoot many times. I have worked with many fantastic customer support folks Sam, Rhica, and Ivy among others. This update to my review is certainly not a reflection on the customer support individuals. When you can reach them via the very long queue in the chat - no phone options - they are pleasant and really try to help. But the fall from grace is quite abrupt. We had been successfully using the integration for almost a year and were happy with it. Then the past couple of months, everything has been falling apart. We enabled Shopify B2B features that were recently released, which seemed to have broken several of our mappings. The support team helped us during this transition and it seemed to be working fine but actually was inconsistently mapping our data we later learned. Then they requested we upgrade to the new app which we did also using the customer support team to ensure we did correctly. After several sessions, we made the switch only to find that, in fact, we had both the legacy and the new systems still connected duplicating all our transactions, which were, by the way, still not coming through mapped correctly to our customer files. Once we flagged the issue, they told us to revert to the legacy version because the specific functionality we needed, like mapping a customer's organization, was not fully supported on the new version. Why would they release an 'update' that is half baked AND encourage/force companies to transition? Now we are still trying to troubleshoot all our customer mapping issues with engineering. I am not surprised that it is taking a long time for them to triage as I am seeing that I am not alone in this mess. I am sad to say that my review has gone from 5-stars to 2 (and I am being generous) because of the recent changes and the inability to get it functioning correctly. For small businesses and start-ups, these tools are supposed to improve efficiency. However, this has created so much more work for my team, it is quite disappointing.

This has been pretty easy to set up. After my first sync, there were some issues. I chatted with Sherwin, and he fixed everything really quickly, and explained what was done, and what I need to do to keep it going smoothly (just unchecked a box, really). This app works and works well. Definitely worth it. 4 years later and still great service and really helpful app. This time, I had a problem syncing because I had changed from inventory to non-inventory all my products in QBO. Sam got me all set up and cleared all the errors in one go.

Books deposits that don't match your bank, and support can't fix what their own tool breaks. Forced off the legacy integration (which worked for years) in June. Since then: every payout containing an edited or foreign-currency order books to QuickBooks at the WRONG amount -- the connector uses the pre-edit/authorized order total instead of what Shopify actually captured and deposited, so bank reconciliation fails and the error compounds daily. Shop Pay processing fees sync as $0.00. Three weeks into a support case, posting silently stopped entirely -- 25 payouts now stuck unbooked in the review queue. Their back office then modified our books without notice, correcting 5 payouts but leaving the originals in place, double-counting roughly $7,500 of revenue and cash. Support's answer to everything is send more screenshots, and eventually: please manually delete the incorrect transactions from your QuickBooks -- their words. If you use delayed capture, edit orders before shipment, or sell internationally, do not migrate. The connector's own Gross/Net column shows the right number on every payout; it just doesn't book it.

Intuit sunset the Onesaas connector in favor of a new one, which is a major degradation of service. The new connector is extremely limiting and customer service is way worse than it used to be ever since they started firing employees in favor of investing in crapy AI services. Now I have to manually import transactions. I would give this negative stars if possible.

This review is about the product itself, not the customer service I received. As someone who has worked with much more complex accounting software, I find QuickBooks Online surprisingly confusing for what is supposed to be a simple accounting program. I was notified that the old Shopify integration was no longer supported and that I needed to move to the new integration. To do that, I had to disconnect the existing Shopify connection before connecting to the new platform. Unfortunately, once I disconnected it, I discovered I couldn't complete the new connection because of an issue with my account. Now I'm left with no Shopify integration at all. My old connection is gone, I can't connect to the new one, and I'm waiting for the development team to contact me with no estimated timeframe for a resolution. That leaves me wondering: what am I supposed to do in the meantime? My business depends on this integration, and having no timeline or temporary solution is incredibly frustrating. Ruth was helpful throughout the process and did everything she could to escalate my case to the development team. This review isn't a reflection of her service—it's a reflection of the product and the experience of being left without a critical business integration.

The most glitchy app ever. Intuit cannot create anything without an insane amount of glitches. Support just blames shopify for it not working and won't actually help you resolve the issue. Edit: I have waster over 8 hours and the staff at Intuit are the most useless people around. They literally hung up as they blame shopify for all the issues with their app.

Chelle helped us diagnose a few issues, and overall the support team is incredible, responsive, and generally happy to help. But they really are limited in their technical-backend know how. The problem here is that the application itself is laden with critical bugs and sync errors. After an internal audit, the connector missed over $4,000 in Shopify fees that it simply did not connect. We wasted roughly a full week of our accountants time trying to find various errors only to realize the connector simply is missing multiple entries. We opened a support ticket for: "Transaction cannot be applied to Deposit. Either Referenced Transaction's Account is incorrect or the Transaction has already been applied to another Deposit" Errors. It has been two months now and the support team is clearly perplexed and unsure of where to direct us because there is a major backend issue that has yet to be fixed. On the payouts, there is no CSV/ Export version to cross reference between the CSV from Shopify. There is also bugs on certain payouts which force you to review/ confirm every single order manually. We wanted to love this native integration and solution so much, but it simply does not work.

After the initial review below things have taken a turn for the worse, no fault of the support team, but the developers. Hence the 5 star review has been reduced to 1. Firstly, there is the import doubling up the VAT and changing items from inclusive of VAT (20%) to exclusive after a transaction is reviewed making each transaction 20% higher than actual. Secondly, transactions that have a postage charge cannot be reviewed and added to Quickbooks as they give an invalid tax error which cannot be changed as the tax for postage is not able to be changed at this point. Free isn't the best option so I've not changed to a paid integration (current trial) and as it's early in the financial year may move away from QuickBooks completely. --- original review which was 5 stars --- You really can't ask for better help than from Jasmin. She helped escalate a small issue with some of the imported Shopify orders to get this resolved. I recently moved from another accounting package that didn't connect to Shopify directly and am so glad I did. The import is so much cleaner and doesn't need anything doing to it unlike the previous package. Perfect experience so far.

1 Star – Massive Step Backwards from OneSaaS I’ve been using the QuickBooks Shopify integration since 2020 (previously via OneSaaS), and up until recently it worked reliably and did exactly what it needed to do. Unfortunately, since QuickBooks deprecated the OneSaaS connector and replaced it with their new native Shopify app, the system has become completely unfit for purpose. The new connector is a significant downgrade: Products are not mapping correctly VAT rates are inconsistent or incorrectly applied Payment methods aren’t assigned properly Customer data is no longer linked (everything is posted under a generic “Shopify customer”) Hundreds of transactions are left sitting in the integration queue requiring manual review This completely defeats the purpose of automation and has created a huge amount of unnecessary admin, not to mention confusion for both our bookkeeper and accountants. The most frustrating part is that the previous OneSaaS system worked perfectly well. There was no need to replace it with something far less capable. As a result, we’ve now been forced to move to a £50/month third-party integration just to restore functionality that previously worked flawlessly for free. That’s incredibly disappointing. There are clearly widespread issues with this new connector, with many other users reporting the same problems online. Please bring back the OneSaaS integration, or significantly improve the current app — because in its current state, it’s simply not fit for purpose.
