Immediate responses from support staff is always lovely to see. It does everything it says on the tin for us, we're able to generate leads with much better knowledge of the user's intention now. There were some minor visual bugs with the first screen you see after loading the app but when diving into the data it's deriving it from (such as the estimated values) it will still have the correct information on the back end. These issues will probably be fixed very quickly.

Good app for simple shops and easy to get started with. However, for more complex or multilingual shops, several important issues appeared: PDF formatting is still incomplete, translations are inconsistent, taxes and shipping are not displayed correctly, and the quote workflow is unclear in some areas. Support was helpful at first, but response times slowed down over time. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it for more advanced setups at this stage.

Request a Quote app has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had an urgent issue where prices were still showing on product and collection pages. Haley jumped on it straight away, arranged collaborator access, and had their developer fix it fast. Then a new issue popped up with variant behaviour and add to cart. They fixed that just as quickly. After that, I asked for a couple of custom tweaks to match our theme, including the quote form font and the quote button behaviour on collection pages. Again, they handled it without fuss and even provided a Loom video to confirm the changes. Every message was clear, fast, and helpful. No back and forth. No delays. Just solutions. Huge thanks to Haley for being on top of everything.

The app works well. It's very easy to hide prices for specific or bulk items, and the request quote form has been easy for our customers to use and understand. There was a bug in the app server the other day. A popup saying "Samita is Loading..." keeps appearing, and we were unable to log in. It took us about two days to be able to use it due to the holiday break in their country but support team were quick and efficient at setting things right. 8/15/2024 - I'm increasing the star rating to 5 and adding to this last review from 2020. Excellent support by the app team and I would like to mention Haley who provided us with support lately. We are preparing to install an update to our theme and the Samita team provided very quick support and has implemented all the improvements we asked for with clear and fast communications and perfect implementation. This app has served us loyally for the past few years and is recommended for any store that all or part of its business is done via quotations. Older review 2020: Globo request a quote is an excellent and reliable app. It's the only app that allows to hide the prices and change the add to cart button to a request a quote button. The email communications with customers are solid and reliable. With the excellent and very responsive support from Emma and her team, we were able to customize the buttons and pop up message to our own style and also the email templates to the customers and those we get. The app also allows the customer to add files to their requests. The only reason that I'm not giving the app 5 stars rating is because it is not fully integrated with the Shopify customer list and when we convert a request for a quote to a draft order we need to enter again the customer's information to the draft quote. This takes extra time. Should it be integrated with the Shopify customer database would also allow for our marketing system to add the new customer to its list. This app and its support team is highly recommended by us!

This app has been sold to another company (Samita) without notice. We got this confirmed by the new companies support staff after asking for it twice. There are many apps, some need to be more friendly with the user. SA request a Quote is friendly, easy to understand, and has good documentation the user can access. Tried a few quoting apps, and G:Request a Quote + Hide Price is by far the best. The support team is very responsive, and great at getting the app working as needed for my Shopify store. For my application, needed a way to quote shipping for those items that do not ship for free. So for every product page, collection page, and search results, the "Add to Cart" button is replaced with an "Add to Shipping Quote" button which allows the customer to easily request a shipping quote for those items that do not ship for free. The items that ship for free retain the "Add to Cart" button, and do not display the "Add to Shipping Quote" button. For these items, they add the item to the cart and checkout as usual. Again, great app and highly recommend it!
