We run a Shopify Plus store with thousands of products across many categories and 100,000+ orders every month, so it's very hard to merchandise manually. We use ST Product & Collection Sort across nearly 2,000 collections, especially its multi-segment sorting to balance factors such as revenue, variant availability, inventory, and other signals. It gives us a lot more control over how different groups of products rank. A few features have been especially useful for us: the bucket-level lookback periods let us use different time windows for different segments, which is great when we want recent performance to matter more for some products but historical performance for others. Weighted Mean Sort is another nice feature. It combines revenue, sales, inventory, newness, etc., with our own weighting. We also really like the smart shuffle with metafields. With such a large catalogue, simply randomising products is not a good idea. ST gives us variety while still keeping the merchandising logic intact. We’ve tried other merchandising apps, and ST is more capable for the scale we need. The customer success team is super friendly and genuinely fanatical about support. They’re very responsive, understand the problem we’re trying to solve, and are willing to dig into things rather than just point us to documentation. They are open to idea and assist us with customization and work with other apps. For a Shopify Plus store operating at our scale, that combination of a powerful merchandising system and good support is hard to find.

This app has been incredibly helpful with sorting, giving us far greater control than what Shopify has out of the box. You can sort by metafields, shuffle products, etc. We've tried other apps (such as Kimonix) as well, and this is by far our favorite. 10/10 the support response and app functionality. We use it in all our 7 stores and 100% recommend it. BE AWARE! It's not just for sorting collections. It also helps to create collections with exclusions that are not possible with the native Shopify functionalities. For example, creating a collection that excludes a specific tag; based on the discount percentage of the products; or adding several different conditions in the same collection, like only discounted products from a specific category. That's not possible with native Shopify (unless you start playing with tags, which over time, takes too long and is not productive, specially with special events when discounts are on/off)

One feature that’s particularly useful is the ability to mix best-sellers and new products seamlessly. For example, we show the top 3 products by revenue, then insert the best-performing new product (based on add-to-carts). Then it repeats that pattern: three best-sellers followed by a fresh, popular product, and so on. Took only a few mins to set up and it’s already running! Tried for a while to write random sort or shuffle code but just couldn’t get it to work. With some of my collections being several pages to scroll through, the default Shopify alphabetical sort meant I had no control over what order is displayed. It is much better and more feature-rich than any of the ‘AI Merchandising apps’ available in the store. The service is impressively fast, and their response times are excellent. They even schedule free demos anytime you need a deep dive into functionalities or merchandising strategies. Merchandising is one of the easiest but the most overlooked ways to lift the CVR of a fashion website. We first only used this app to promote some high inventory and discounted products on our collection pages - and it does an excellent job! Easy to implement and use without any knowledge of coding. Since then, we have started to use more powerful merchandising strategies such as sorting by Variant availability, pinning products to the top of collection pages, automatically promoting new products and sorting by product views with our Google Analytics data. Although I haven’t explored the newly launched Visual merchandising drag and drop feature, I’m excited to use that soon enough for my store. It also knows how to deal with out of inventory items and you can choose to sort them in the bottom. EDIT: What I hate about the app is the pricing plan. It's hard to estimate the sorts you need, and they are dictating the charge. This kind of payment model should be a thing in the past. Now I have used all my sorts, and I'm either locked out to do anything of upgrade. Locking me out is very annoying. I wish I'd found this app sooner, it's incredible. Everyone wants their customers to see best-selling products, but it isn't always as easy as that. My seasonal items are my best sellers by far, but only in their correct seasons. Sorting by "best seller" or "revenue" or other things like that with other apps pushes all of my Christmas items to the top. Great at Christmas time, but not so great every other time. This allows me to put items into "buckets" by tags, titles, and lots of other things, which lets me show my recent bestsellers first, and push out-of-season items to the bottom. It's truly fantastic. The flexibility is just phenomenal and if you're struggling at all, their support team is amazing. Super willing to help with whatever you need. I couldn't be happier.

I like that this app is scalable. While I could see someone wanting to sort many collections using various data, I wanted only the ability to randomize a single collection that I use to show "random" products on our front page, a simple function that should really be built in to Shopify. This app can accomplish that and has a tier that lets me do it on a scheduled basis for free. As my store grows, I can see other uses for this app. I especially like that it has the ability to pin items to the top of a collection or push sold out items to the bottom.

We sell seasonal and holiday decor and have about 1400 active Skus at a time, and this is the only app that would allow me to sort my products with and/or scenarios and multiple tiers or buckets. So if someone is shopping in our "Shop All" category and it is beginning of November, they will see a little bit of Fall and Thanksgiving, mixed in with some winter and some Christmas Decor. Also taking release dates, tags and inventory into account. Also, while getting my first strategy set up, I asked for help and the team immediately hopped on a video call and set up my strategies with me, and showed me even more robust features I could be utilizing. This app will save me hours of work per week! Very highly recommend!

This app was exactly what we were looking for, as we needed an advanced sorting strategy -- sorting by groups, and then sorting differently within those groups. Laksh in support was fantastic and walked me through all the details step-by-step over video call, testing our results in real-time, making sure I understood every aspect. We also use a separate filtering app that it has to work with, and Laksh helped me make sure all the settings were correct for that connection, and understand in what order all the sorting had to happen for the website to be correct. Much appreciated, and so far, very impressed!

The merchandising app takes some getting used to since it has a lot of features but is so much more intuitive and customizable than any of the other Shopify apps I have tried in the past. Almost all of them were quite limited with options and rules that can be applied but certainly not this one. This app has a lot of great features that can be combined to build sorting strategies. Truly great for promoting high revenue-generating or high inventory items and pinning specific products on top which is not possible with Shopify. The support is fantastic! Timely, effortless, easy to deal with and they suggest optimal solutions real fast. Great all around!

I believe this is a great app if you have a large catalogue or are in the apparel industry like us. We now have full control over which period of revenue to consider while sorting products and treat them as bestselling. The app works on auto-pilot with no frontend code to slow down the website and automatically pushes sold out products to the bottom which was a major pain point for us. Not only that, the app brings sold out items back to their appropriate positions once they are restocked and also allows us to pin specific products to the top of our collections.

The app constantly promotes high-revenue-generating products to the top of the collections, assisting us in driving more sales and conversions to our store. This app saves our team a ton of time and keeps our collections fresh based on customer buying habits.
