The worst experience ever. They uploaded the app with issues and old screenshots and then told me that I had to make my own screenshots. A sign of a business that's understaffed or using a small group to do everything. Please do not use this company for your mobile app, it's trash and a scam.

It’s a great app, simply put — better than most other app builders. I just wouldn’t recommend their support. I run a B2B operation, and 98% of my customers are weekly repeat buyers who use their Favourites list to quickly add products to their cart. With the latest update a few months ago, there’s been a major bug in the Favourites list. When adding a product after the 24th item, the screen jumps back to the top and the list reorders itself. It creates a frustrating experience for my customers, and I’ve received multiple complaints. I’ve also shared videos that customers sent us. The only response I’ve received after inquiring was: “It might be best to instruct your users to use the wishlist feature through the browser on their mobile phones until this bug is fixed.” It’s been almost two months now. Edit: 4 months later, still nothing. I don't they've even bothered to look at this issue. If a simple can't be fixed, it beats to have an app at all. I've taken their recommendation and have instructed all of my customers to use the online website for the near future until we find a better app builder. Will not be working with them anymore.

Rating: 1/5 Unfortunately, our experience with Tapcart was very disappointing. A critical feature — displaying customer review images from Judge.me — never worked properly from the beginning. The images either loaded extremely slowly or did not load at all inside the mobile app. This issue was reported multiple times over more than a month but was never effectively resolved. We followed all recommendations, including removing custom blocks and simplifying the product page to the minimum, but the problem still remained. Without review images, launching a mobile app for an e-commerce business simply does not make sense, as social proof is critical for conversion. What was most frustrating was the overall approach to resolving the issue. It should not be the client’s responsibility to diagnose and fix problems in a paid application. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled by both sides was not acceptable. In the end, we had to cancel our Tapcart subscription and start looking for an alternative solution.

This is my second mobile app platform I've used, and Tapcart is by far the best. I've also worked with several other Shopify app vendors, and the Tapcart team (specifically Angelica & Chad) have been the best with migrating and implementing creative and effective strategies. Can't recommend Tapcart enough! Update: We've now been with Tapcart for 2 years and love it! This past BFCM over 75% of our sales were through our mobile app. And our CSM Gina is amazing! If you're questioning which app platform to use, Tapcart is the one!

I love Tapcart! Firstly, my CSM is super attentive and quick to get in contact when anything arises! And the platform itself is a much more seamless experience for our customer and converts much better than traditional online store! Also being able to really modify the look/sections down to the nitty gritty top/bottom padding you want - is super helpful for people who aren't 'devs' but know what they need and want done - and can actually execute it themselves with the Tapcart customisations they offer. We're stuck using Tapcart because we have a decent amount of users on our app and I don't want to annex that userbase, but... if I could start all over again, it would be somewhere else. When we first joined (back in 2021-2022), we did have some decent communication, but over the last few years, this app has been a mess. We've rebuilt our website with specific partners that they recommend for their integration partners to have a seamless app and website experience only to get to the end and find out that the MOST major components don't work. I could go on and on. If you have a smaller catalog or need a very basic user experience, you can probably make this app work at a price. But I wouldn't recommend Tapcart to anyone based on my recent experiences.

Overall the app works well - we're still on a more basic plan so there are some limitations (hence the 4*), but looking into possibly upgrading to get the full works soon. What is great is the dedicated service provided - our account manager Tyler works closely with us with regular calls to share ideas, best practices and support for our campaigns - he's been a massive help to understand how we can get the most out of our app and subscribers.

Subject: Terrible Experience with TapCart Mobile App Service I am writing this review to share my recent horrendous experience with TapCart, a service that promises to help you build, design, and launch a codeless mobile app for your Shopify store. Initially, I was drawn in by their slick advertising and the offer of a trial period. I thought I would be able to test out their services, receive adequate support, and then decide whether this platform was suitable for my business. Sadly, this has not been the case. From the moment I signed up for the trial, I noticed a severe lack of customer support. Despite numerous attempts to contact their team for assistance, my messages were consistently ignored. For a service that prides itself on its 1:1 implementation assistance, this was surprising, disappointing, and unprofessional. The lack of communication, coupled with the automatic billing after the trial period, made me feel as if I had fallen for a scam. The company failed to provide any prior notification about the trial ending and the upcoming charges, contrary to standard business practices. And to make things worse, the customer service remained non-responsive even after I was billed for services I hadn't received. Upon seeking a refund for the services not provided, I received an unexpected response from the Manager of Implementation. She directed me to the Terms of Use and reiterated their non-refundable policy, despite the circumstances. In other words, I was stuck with a service I hadn't used, charged for a service I didn't agree to, and denied a refund I deserved. TapCart seems to have an agenda to draw customers in with their trial period, neglect them during this period, and then charge them without any prior notice or consent. They then hide behind their non-refundable policy when customers like me demand justice for being charged for services not rendered. This practice is, to put it mildly, highly unethical and potentially illegal. Moreover, this is not just my solitary experience. Upon further investigation, I've learned that I'm not alone in facing such issues. There are numerous others who have faced similar predicaments, highlighting a systemic problem in TapCart's business model. All these issues lead me to advise anyone considering TapCart's services to proceed with extreme caution. The poor customer support, the unethical billing practices, and the non-refundable policy in the face of non-delivery of services make this a high-risk venture. I am now left with no choice but to seek legal avenues to rectify this situation, share my experience with the wider community, and hopefully save others from falling for this unsavory scheme. This ordeal has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I can only hope that my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others. This review serves as a reminder for us to be vigilant in the face of appealing offers and promises. Always make sure to read the fine print, scrutinize the terms and conditions, and demand a satisfactory level of service, especially when hard-earned money is at stake.

WE PROMISED THEM OUR BUSINESS IF WE WERE GIVEN CREDIT FOR THE MONTHS WE HAVE PAID, AT FIRST THEY AGREED NOW WE ARE TOLD "UPPER MANAGEMENT AND FINANCE" HAS ONLY AGREED TO PROVIDE US WITH 2 MONTHS CREDIT. IT IS NOT OUR FAULT YOU START OUT BEING UNTRUTHFUL JUST TO GET CLIENTS TO SIGN UP. REFUND US IN FULL, DO THE RIGHT THING AS A COMPANY. WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR YOUR MONEY, WE ARE ASKING FOR THE FUNDS YOU HAVE STOLEN FROM US ON A MONTHLY BASIS.

I started looking into getting an app back in 2017 and whew, I wish I did it then. Why did I wait so long! They had me up and fully running in only 2 short weeks. I had tasks I had to do, if I completed them it was such a breeze but they took care of mostly everything. Val is AMAZING, 10/10 recommend her to get you started and then Christina will be taking over from here. I look forward to working with Christina on my growth phase. 10/10 recommend Tapcart. My only complaint is I wish it was based more on sales than just a flat fee especially in the beginning. It does push me to really grow this sales channel and I think it's a great implementation for the business however it would be great to have Tapcart grow with me instead of me walking into spending $1300-$1400 a month after the 2 month free trial. Other than that I recommend it all. Sign up. Do what they ask you to do. Don't miss a meeting. Watch how fast and awesome the team is! I definitely recommend!

Support is very poor. They don't care if you grow and if you have everything working fine. Using tapcart only makes sense if you have more than 120000 monthly site visits and a team dedicated to the app. The customization is very limited, so keep in mind that your app will look like all the other tapcart apps. FB tokens have to be continually updated by yourself so you keep this in mind. Too expensive for the value it brings. My online store is actually better than my app. I wish I had given it some thought before jumping on this app provider, there are better solutions.

The app is a good solution for building your own app. However, there are some features I believe should be standard and high on the priority list. 1. The app offers the ability to schedule a drop which allows you to design using images, video and other modules and schedule it to publish. BUT, the feature is almost useless because you can't add links to the photo or video assets unless the products are active in your shopify store. This means that just before your launch, you have to frantically make the products active then rush to add the links to all the designs you've created. 2. While shopping using major apps like Zara or Mango, there's the ability to browse similar items just below the main product. I think this feature should be basic for a mobile app provider. 3. The design modules need way more features and types of modules. 4. When creating your push notification, you can't edit. If you spell something wrong or want a team member to review copy before sending, you gotta start over if changes are needed. 5. Overall, I think TapCart should be more consistent in releasing new features. We've had the app well over a year and the updates are trickling slowly or only seem to serve a small segment of merchants.

To be honest, I definitely did not see the value in having a mobile app. When our employee brought it up, I was hesitant, but after our demo with Donovan, I felt a lot better about giving it a try. Truly a turn-key experience taking your website and turning it into a user-friendly app! While we absolutely love the app we have had some hiccups along the way pushing us to pay more than we anticipated to use this platform properly for our business. Our business does weekly product drops that we previously were able to schedule with our standard Shopify subscription. Once signed up for the app we realized that our Shopify plan didn't support product scheduling outside of the "online" sales channel so any new items we scheduled would immediately go live on Tapcart and could not post at our desired time. The only solution was to either scrap the app or upgrade to Shopify Plus (a $2k a month Shopify upgrade) in order to use Launchpad. Being able to schedule products accordingly is vital to our business so this upgrade would definitely not be necessary for most businesses. One other feature the app is lacking is a way to refresh without having to close out of it entirely. Our products sell out FAST, so this means our customers need to be able to have the items refresh to show real-time status of whether a product is in stock. Right now the item might sell out and will still state it's in stock while in the customer's cart. Our account manager did mention that this is a feature they're working on there's just no timeline of when it will be ready. The price points range pretty drastically but it makes the app pretty accessible for almost any business big or small. So far so good on our end!

I really like the app's concept and the design of the app. It's clean and easy to use from my end. They did a great job with designing it and getting it on the app stores. However, there is a serious lag when you update products or quantities (from sold out to in stock). There's no way to refresh the app (no long swipe down) so you have to force close and reopen which sometimes fixes the problem. If you go into the view collection area of the app and play with the sorting feature it will sometimes provide an accurate view of the site in certain sort (best selling, a-z, etc) selections but not in others. I've gone round and round with Tapcart about this and they always blame shopify cache/api. If you are a shop that doesn't sell out or change product collections frequently, tapcart will be just fine. It's not a good look for my company as it's already annoying customers and we aren't even selling as quickly as we usually do. I'm going to hang on to it for awhile and let tapcart try and fix the issue- I'll update accordingly.

I'm reviewing this app once again. The customer service is incredible as well as the dedicated app manager. My app looks better than ever and sales have continued to grow at a rapid rate. All that is missing is the complete Smile.io integration which I have been informed is being worked on and will come in the future. Once that is complete, I'd give this platform 10 stars if I could. Recommendation: Night mode would be awesome for customers who enjoy a dark screen on their phone. I also wonder if Conversion-Bear would ever get on board with TAPCART to integrate as well. That would completely change the game for app sales and the experience.

When I first conceptualize my app, I knew that I had to create the first version myself. I’ve been went on to hunt for at builders that were similar two weeks and square, having drag and drop capabilities. For some reason when I first surged I decided against tap card, mainly because of the prices but also because of the features. I went on to use Buildfire was the WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I never had more issues with a customer service team than I did with that company. After my trial with them, I immediately transferred to Buildfire which was my best decision yet! I would recommend tap card to anyone in the world. Customer service is divine! I begin with a Eamon as my specialist and was then pushed to Val. BOTH of these humans having helped me TREMENDOUSLY and continue to help me when ever I need assistance on ANYTHING from app description to sign-up. TapCart! Tapacart is so disappointing, all they focus on is IOS and leave Android lacking features, if you want an app that has equal features on both IOS & Android don't take Tapcart you'll waste your money and time, They don't even provide Android SDK on Facebook & No deep links , what kind of a mobile developer who designs and forget some Android feature in this era?! Another problem is that everything they offer is fixed they an't even allow you to pay them more money to get more customizations, the video blocks are a mess. All this mess is tricky you find put these missing features after they have charged you fees, because they have to set up Facebook SDK, and in the end when you ask about android they start excuses that they will bling that features this year without even specifying, its so frustrating It would be better if they stated it in description that they only give much focus on IOS Their checkout process looks bad waste time for a user with small letters so difficult to read!

I highly recommend this! After using a different company for our app for a couple of years that left us feeling out dated with little to no customer service and updates I made the switch to Tapcart and it was extremely smooth and easy to switch! They are so quick to respond to any and all issues and the integration within Shopify makes it really easy to use! I love that there's an app to send push notifications from making this an easy asset to use on the go! I think my favorite part is the ability to send products and photos in notifications!

I'm a newbie when it comes to drop shipping and choose TapCart as my APP provider. At first, we encountered issues with getting live on Apple App Store and it initially took some pushing/nudging to get TapCart moving on it. I was working with Cole primarily and he was always very responsive. If it wasn't for Cole and the customer success team I would have given TapCart a lesser score (due to early issues with go live). Today, I'm extremely happy using TapCart and already generating sales. I have a friend who left TapCart for a competitor and they already want to come back based off my early results. I started my shopify store about 2 months ago and started to use the app to push my products through another sales right away. The idea to use an app on as a way to push products is very useful. The Tapcart team is awesome and very responsive when you have questions and other concerns. The Shopify app is easy to use and you can get the app through Apple within one and a half weeks if you do everything correctly. I would highly recommend Tapcart to away that is looking for another quality sales channel for their products.

I used this app to create a shopping app for my existing site, after 2 month and close to $400 (2 months @ $99 and a $200 apple developer account) My app is still not up and I keep getting the run around from DUNS, APPLE, and Tapcart. Thats$400 wasted! I was excited because I had my add created so quick, But that was short-lived. I cant believe I wasted all that money! -Upset business owner with $250K in sales a year.

While there aren't a ton of customization options, they do have excellent customer support and for the affordable price (in comparison to a custom app) it does the job! If you are reading these reviews, you know that TapCart is the best, however here is the bottom line with our app being only two months old. Just in December 2018 alone, Tiger Underwear earned over $900 in revenue from the TapCart App! Tiger is also ranked close to the top for "underwear" searches in both Google Play and Apple App Store. I love this app. They've done an amazing job with the app, and they are delightful during the set up process. We started off with a great call where they answered all of my questions, I had the first version ready for my approval the following day. There was a bit of an annoying process with Apple, that has nothing to do with Tapcart and everything to do with Apple. Despite it not being their responsibility, they were incredibly helpful throughout the process. I had some questions about how to respond to Dun & Bradstreet when getting my DUNS number, that they were really helpful with. I've only just set up my app, so I can't attest to its effectiveness but so far, so, so good!

Design is great and price is very affordable, but the app has some obvious overlooks and really buggy. Customer has to add payment every time they checkout even though they are signed into their account and items that do not require shipping (digital downloads) won't let users complete purchase because it wants a shipping method to be added. The latest update has some nice additions (showing product reviews and design features) but really wish these other items would be considered and fixed.

Disappointed. Wasted an entire day only to find out they ONLY handle LLC. I'm a small woman owned business and cannot afford the legal paperwork. I spent several hours working on everything THEN went to apple to get the DUNS number only to be told that Tapcart ONLY does LLC or INC. There is NOTHING that says that anywhere! I wouldn't have wasted the time if I knew that.
