No way to export your files for file clean up and import them back. When Shopify makes changes to their UI the SkyPilot system follows suit rapidly but creates a mess of disconnected files leaving your consumers with useless account history of their purchases. Your customers can then no longer automatically download that file from inside their Account History creating more work for you. When working inside the Products Listing of your files, there is no SORT. You can SEARCH, but you cannot SORT. If you open a Product inside your Products Listing and you're on Page 4, upon closing that Product you autorefresh back to the top of Page 1 and have to click to scroll back to where you were EVERY TIME slowing down your internal work production using SkyPilot. The UI needs a serious update as I've been with SkyPilot for many years and this is a production killer.

I’ve used Sky Pilot for several years, and unfortunately I’ve had ongoing issues throughout that time.The biggest problem is poor bandwidth speed and server instability. Downloads regularly drop out, and customers are often disconnected partway through. The real kicker is that you’re still charged for the data used even when customers can’t access or complete the download. If a customer gets booted at 20–50%, you still pay for that bandwidth. Over time, those failed downloads add up very quickly expect $700–$1,000 USD bills if you’re running any kind of volume.I’ve raised these issues multiple times, including phone calls with management. Each time, the explanation is the same: blame is placed on their wholesale provider (Amazon servers). Occasionally I receive a small discount (usually around 10%) on a very large bill, but nothing meaningful is done to fix the underlying performance issues.Billing is another major concern. The system is confusing and feels poorly designed. I even raised concerns with Shopify, and the response around billing was vague and uncomfortable. If you’re on a custom plan and try to reduce your data usage to save money, you can be charged immediately for the new plan on top of what you’ve already paid for the month, effectively double-charging you. When questioned, support suggests changing plans only on the exact day your billing period expires which is hardly a practical solution.At this point, there are new options on Shopify offering unlimited data, better speeds, and clearer pricing. If you’re a small business trying to control costs and deliver a reliable experience to customers, it’s absolutely worth shopping around.

I have been using the free version of this app for a few months. It's quite easy to set up and does exactly what I was looking for. Recently, our customers let us know that they couldn't download our files on their Android phones, as the "download" button was not visible. Only issue is a slight visual bug: When we have to send users a direct download link, it brings them to a page where the download link for the file is white text on a white rectangle background, and the hit-target for the link to download is only the lowest line of text, not the entire white box. So the users frequently get back in touch saying "where exactly do I download it?" But if the team can address that bug, I'd give it 5 stars. Fully functional (for my purposes, at least) in the free version, and the customer-facing experience is much better than the competition we've explored. We use this for a package of downloads that is updated and expanded regularly, so I LOVE that it gives us the ability to update the products and push email notifications to previous purchasers.

I have given them 2 months to resolve an issue that my inventory is too large. I check every few days and every few days, im told they are working on it. Before you invest any time into this, make sure their app can handle your account. It also creates concerns about the stability of the app or its ability to handle growth. at $103 per month its a concern. I will be glad to update this when they have resolved the issue.

I would luv to give zero stars if I could. It's not as user friendly as they say. If you're not familiar with tech like me I definitely, definitely would not use the Sky Pilot app. Every time I reach out to customer service, I tell them I'm not tech savvy and they chat back or leave messages like I'm a tech support specialist..and they are very vague with their instructions. It's so frustrating because they give these hard to understand instructions and I have to reach out to them again and ask for easy to understand answers. Then some of the answers aren't correct and I'm sent on a wild goose chase to get the answers I need. When chatting with the reps it takes them so long to respond back with an answer to my question, 3 to 4 minutes. I asked one rep why it takes them so long..he said they are helping several people at once. I was on a chat for over 2 hours and my question still wasn't answered. I am a patient and considerate person however as a business owner dealing with Sky Pilot and Shopify, I've lost money and I'm sure clients as well. I'm not blaming the reps as much as I'm blaming the business..because the representatives are probably overwhelmed and overworked. I have had such bad experiences, and tears of frustration. It's been unbearable and unbelievable.

As a new Sky Pilot - Digital Downloads user, I am amazed at the features of this top-notch software. It did exactly what I wanted. After testing out 4 other digital download software programs written for Shopify, which failed miserably, this software blows them all out of the water. The chat support is 24/7 by techs who know how to solve my problems. I needed to deliver 112 videos, audio, and PDF files in 3 separate folders. That way my customers could download the files they want on their phone, tablet, and computer, depending on whether they use a phone data plan or Wi-Fi. When you deliver lots of different files in vast quantities, folders are the answer to my dream software. I wanted to give the developers and techs a big thanks for their hard work.
