Di punto in bianco hanno deciso di renderla a pagamento, ma non in modo uguale per tutti: applicano criteri diversi da negozio a negozio. Una scelta poco trasparente e sinceramente molto discutibile. La cosa che dà più fastidio non è il pagamento in sé, ma il modo in cui è stato gestito. Se decidete di cambiare modello, fatelo in modo chiaro e corretto per tutti, non creando trattamenti differenti senza una logica evidente. L’ho disinstallata subito e in pochi minuti ho trovato alternative migliori. Prima di pagare un abbonamento per un servizio di questo tipo consiglio di cercare altre app: il mercato è pieno di opzioni valide. Personalmente preferisco non dare soldi a un’azienda che tratta i propri utenti in questo modo. La fiducia si costruisce nel tempo e si perde molto velocemente.

Garbage, full of popups, not transparent about pricing, no STATIC pages, Pageviews? confusing language like they imply static pages, but then say unlimited pageviews. why could pageviews, if you have static pages? Pges stored to /de-de/ for germany as an example. There is no pricing option in the front page. No option for using DeepL which is miles better than chatgpt that is good as localization not translation.

2/19/26: We were a 5+ year merchant using this app and were previously grandfathered into lifetime access. After reinstalling, that access was removed without warning or transition plan. When we left a negative review reflecting this experience, support stated that lifetime access would be reviewed again once the review was updated or removed. We were also informed that access may be restricted when negative feedback is received. Conditioning feature restoration on modifying a review raises serious concerns regarding Shopify’s review integrity policies, which prohibit incentivized or conditional review manipulation. Feature access and public feedback should be handled independently. Tying account privileges to review changes undermines trust in the Shopify App Store ecosystem. We believe merchants should be aware of this before installing. 2/16/26: So sad, used to be an excellent app but now does absolutely nothing after a re install. Time to find another

Absolutely unacceptable. This app wiped out ALL my manual translations. I am beyond angry. This app completely destroyed days of professional, manually written translations without any warning or consent. After granting translation permissions, it automatically overwrote every single manual translation I had carefully created in Shopify Translate & Adapt. This happened right after I contacted support because core languages (Dutch and German, my MAIN website languages) were missing from the language picker. Once they “fixed” that, the app decided to retranslate everything from scratch, ignoring all existing manual content. The result is catastrophic: • Incorrect translations • Unnatural language • Brand-damaging terminology • Product and ingredient names that no native speaker would ever use This is not a small bug. This is a fundamental, dangerous flaw. Any translation app should respect and protect manual translations by default. Overwriting them automatically is reckless and shows zero understanding of how real businesses operate. If you value your brand, your SEO, or your time: DO NOT install this app without a full backup. One action can erase days of work instantly. Completely unacceptable!!!!!

Please don't get me wrong: I totally get why such apps would require a subscription, what I dislike is that you discover that you need to pay after having installed it. The 1 star is about this practice of presenting as free something that is not The free plan includes 1 target language, which you would get for free with Shopify translate and adapt. It still has the advantage to include currencies I guess. But if you need anything more, then it will be 15 dollars/months.
