We are very disappointed with this app. We use the live selling feature only once a week, and the monthly fee is almost $600. However, the live feature has had serious issues almost every 1–2 months. In February, we already experienced a live selling problem. After contacting support, we were told they would improve it as soon as possible. But only about one month later, another major issue happened again during our live sale. This time, all product names showed as unreadable garbled text, so customers could not understand what products we were selling. This directly affected our live sales, customer experience, and caused business losses. For an app charging such a high monthly fee, the core live selling function should be stable. Unfortunately, the reliability has been very disappointing, and these repeated problems have made it difficult for us to trust the app for our business. The review above was posted on April 29 and updated today, June 30. The live streaming function has failed to launch again, triggering an error message. It has been only two months, yet the monthly cost remains nearly $600. After contacting support, I was told I had to wait for staff to come on duty to resolve the issue, leaving the merchant to shoulder the losses caused by the inability to stream on schedule.

The app's creation function is similar to other similar services. However, given the $500+ monthly fee, the live streaming function is truly terrible. Maintenance is poor, with frequent bugs making live streaming impossible! If you simply need to create an app, then other service providers will offer better prices.

I would definitely recommend Superfans to anyone who wants to build a customizable, mobile app shopping experience. With this platform, you can build an app to your unique design specifications and they give you a dedicated design manager and tech support team to help you along the way. If you want, they'll even build your mobile app for you. Everyone from the Superfans team has been helpful and very responsive. If I have any questions or need help with something, I've been able to send a message or schedule a meeting. They have great customer support. Before upgrading to Superfans, I was finding it hard to design a mobile app that looked like our website and functioned like our website. Most other app building platforms that are compatible with Shopify are not nearly this sophisticated (design or function) and will not perform or look the same as your website. With Superfans, if you want it to look like your website and function well, it will do that without a problem. The other thing I like about Superfans is that they provide a marketing specialist who works for you to help promote your brand and figure out selling strategies. I would definitely recommend Superfans to other brands, just for the ease of use, customer service, and design features. I will say that the price point is a little high, especially when you take into consideration any other app integrations that you have to pay separately for (like live video selling or rewards programs). But I do believe the cost is worth it if you sell a large volume through a mobile app, or if you want the design features and accessibility from a mobile app.

Don't do it. At first, they were very responsive and helpful in getting the app launched. But over time they became less and less responsive. They control the app design so you can't update it yourself. I've requested updates to our app for two months, and they keep responding with "give us a little time to work on it". It's a trap thats hard to escape once they have your app live. Update: They've rebranded but its just as bad. They say 24 hour response time for queries and you wait weeks and hope someone responds.

Our experience with Vajro has been extremely disappointing. The project was delayed multiple times, communication was poor, and the final app was never fully functional. They kept us waiting for 3 months and Even worse, we were later charged unexpected “design and development” fees of $1500 that were never clearly disclosed at the start of the project. When we raised concerns, the team avoided responsibility and refused to refund us, even though the app performed poorly from day one. We have been in business for 9 years and worked with many developers — this has been by far the most frustrating and unprofessional experience we’ve had. Be very cautious and don’t trust this company’s promises. Their service and transparency are far below industry standards.

It has been almost 6-7 months since we have onboarded the Vajro app for our online stores. But, beware of trouble if your store has SKU variants. Hard to believe, but it did happen to our store. We have a product which has 10 variants. Vajro shows 100 variants (that is 10 times the number of actual variants) to customer. Unable to believe that this basic cataloging configuration is not being displayed properly in mobile apps. Clearly a glitch and the team is hell bent in not understanding it even after sharing proof. Stay away if you have SKU variants. App is good if you do not need to display and give options to customers with variants such as color, size options

I spent months communicating with this team back in 2022. They promised great features if I subscribed to their premium tier and we would get custom made banners and sections on our product pages. So fast forward to 2024, after paying the fees for over 12 months, including full fees for over 8 months, no one implemented ANYTHING on our app, and we NEVER made a sale as customers found it too difficult to use as no information was in our product page. Every single time I contacted them, they would give me an account manager to tell me what they would do, but weeks after weeks, months after months, nothing every happened, and the app opening time was over 10 seconds long, customers do not have any interest in using our app. Then after I asked for a full refund for the past year, they scheduled a call with me promising not to charge us for the next 6-8 months while fixing everything for us. Then they did at least add some functional sections to our product pages, they changed our opening screen to what we don't want to keep. At the same time, never received a refund, and they continue to charge us. If the refund or fee waiver isn't done, then we may initiate a complaint process for a chargeback for all the fees we have paid.

I would be cautious with this app. We have another Shopify store we used it for - and I am in this account to leave a more accurate review. When you first set up, they present a review request prior to the work being done - so you think you are leaving a review toward the end, however you are not. The customer service upon the first meeting is outstanding. So naturally, you leave a 5-star review. Then, after the review is left all the problems arise. This account was first set up incorrectly with Apple. We have a boutique business, and they set it up as an Individual account. It still says my personal name on the app. Our business is an LLC with a DBA of our Boutique. They did not ask the appropriate questions during the set up to set it up correctly. On Android, we cannot verify our business since it is an LLC with one name but legally doing business as another name. All of our utility bills are under our LLC. Once again, it was submitted incorrectly. They basically came in, threw something together, requested a premature review, left us a bundle of problems, and took the $100 monthly fee. Shopify is steering clear because this is a third party app. They have reached out to offer a complimentary marketing person to help us with getting more business, but no one of any such person reached out. We are at a loss since the entire app was setup with Apple and Android incorrectly, and now we cannot use an app with our store.

Vajro isn’t providing accurate support. There app hasn’t worked in months and they aren’t addressing the error by fixing it. Instead they require me to install another app which I have to pay for. A zip code validator app. Their app should work without it. I also spent thousands on ads and no checkout orders as a result of a zip code validator which is mandatory and doesn’t work by default.

I must say in today modern era of shopping and selling, tools for marketing is necessary. You also need a team that is always able to assist you when you in a bind when collecting your tools. They do as much as they can to elicit a 5 star review, and this is before they complete any task, that should be a red flag. They do more in the form of requesting and demanding a 5 star review than actually providing 5 star service. They do as little as possible to take a Shopify store and put it into a poorly designed and even worse supported app. That said, there is clearly a product platform that could be run properly, for reasons that escape me, it isn't.

This company is by far the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. Horrible communication skills, countless times have I been told that I was going to be contacted and then wasn't even up until this very point. Aside from this the app is constantly going down, constantly something broken, and I never know that this is the case until a customer tells me. Who has time to be constantly checking to see if a service that you're paying for is actually working?!? HORRIBLE whats more I had the highest tier of service, $400 per month and still was treated this way. I finally had enough and decided to go to the basic level as I had no clue what I was paying for, only to be told by a customer that my sizing was no longer showing. I told these people this and was told that due to me changing my price plan I can no longer use my variant app, which I had to pay for also! so now I have an app that is not only still broken but it is useless as well as it doesnt work! Stay away from this company I can't believe Shopify even allows these deceitful people to operate. I will also be leaving reviews elsewhere on the internet as it has been days that I was told that I would be contacted and still have not been. This has been my experience for MONTHS. TERRIBLE!
