It allows you to designate customers for wholesale access, hide or show different pricing, apply bulk or quantity-based discounts, enforce minimum and incremental orders, and even manage tax/VAT rules. We installed this app to manage B2B pricing on a Shopify store selling across Europe. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with discount recalculation during checkout. The app applies B2B pricing using a discount. The discount is calculated correctly at first, but when Shopify updates the product price during checkout (for example when the customer changes the shipping country or enters a valid EU VAT number), the discount does not recalculate. As a result, the final price becomes incorrect. Example: France → product price 26.90 €, discounted price 7.68 €. Customer changes country to Portugal → Shopify updates the product price to 27.58 €, but the discount remains based on the original price. The developer confirmed the issue but said they do not plan to fix it. Because of this, the app is not reliable for EU stores using Shopify Markets, VAT changes, or VAT-exempt B2B customers.

Nach 12 Stunden Wartezeit wurde ich nur gefragt ob ich die App auch eingeschaltet hatte, nachdem ich via Shopify Support, der zuvor ebenfalls das Problem untersucht hatte, mich an den Support con ymq b2b gewendet hatte. Danach keinerlei Reaktion mehr. Schade ! Die App scheint mit dem CONCEPT theme von ROAR inkompatibel zu sein. Info am Rande - die neue App die ich verwende, ebenfalls kostenlos - hatte das gleiche Problem, welches innerhalb von 20 Minuten gelöst war. Also: Die App ist super, der Support, zumindest in meinem Fall ungenügend.

L’interface semble prometteuse, mais rien ne fonctionne correctement : le formulaire de création de compte grossiste est instable, un jour il fonctionne, le lendemain plus rien. Les décalages sur mobile rendent la mise en page inutilisable, ce qui est inacceptable pour un site pro. C’est sans doute gratuit pour une raison : ce n’est pas fiable du tout. Je déconseille totalement cette application si vous cherchez un outil sérieux pour le B2B sur Shopify.

UPDATE 2 March 18: After allowing YMQ dev on March 13 to install a test version to fix my initial malfunction, they now seem to have exploiting it to install what I call a hack that prevents us to sell anything, regardless B2B or B2C. Through 1 of their javascript extensions, I cannot reach in code myself to disable them, they disabled the checkout button on my cart page with JS triggered inline CSS ["checkout"] {display:none !important;} Under no functional circumstances an app should be allowed to disable checkout. Witness the screen at imgur dot com slach 5Ls7IJu. This app developer does not deserve to be active on one of biggest e-commerce platforms. --- UPDATE March 14: YMQ dev fixed the discount issue 2 days ago, but immediately discovered that the main functionality we chose this app for, being the EU tax exemption for B2B customers, no longer works. During checkout, with a valid VAT-number provided in the cart, tax is no longer deducted. This is a major issue where I haven't received feedback from in the past 48 hours. Downgrading my stars from 3 to 1 for not acknowledging the issue with prompt customer service feedback. --- This broad featured app has served us well over the past year. Very intuitive setup and configuration, seamless integration in our selected theme. Translation is only available in 1 language via the apps configuration, so alternatives via frontend javascript required to be coded. Recently, after activation of Shopify's product discounts, we discovered that discounts are no longer correctly shown in the cart. After contacting YMQ support they acknowledged the dev issue and promised to fix it ASAP. In attendance, we can't use discounts on our production sites, neither disable the b2b code part causing the issue. I will update the review in a month with the actual status.

Of the APPs we looked at, this was the best for our store situation (physical store with an online/pick up at the store) and with a 2-type of customer base (contractor and retail), needing separate pricing structures on the website (for each type customer when logged in as contractor, specifically) AND on the POS. There are a few bugs to work around but a good Shopify Tech can help navigate these issues. I have not had personal contact with customer service, so I cannot speak to this matter. The registration form is customizable for the B2B customer, but the integration of the data into the metrics of Shopify are limited. This, and the above mentioned tech need, almost cause a reduction of a star, but otherwise it is a 5-star app (unlike some fiasco apps we tried!).
