We've been really impressed with the level of support from the Yotpo team. As a small business without dedicated technical resource, it's reassuring to know that whenever we reach out, for Reviews or Loyalty, we get a helpful response either on the spot or via email. It's also refreshing to be able to speak to a real person when the AI agent hasn't quite resolved the issue. A special mention to Vien Saints E, who has helped us on multiple occasions with some tricky DNS record issues. The patience and quality of support have been outstanding, thank you!

I’ve been using Yotpo for over a year and have consistently been on the Pro plan. Last year, I was able to import genuine customer reviews and have them displayed with the Verified Buyer badge. This year, however, I was told that imported reviews on the Pro plan can no longer receive the Verified Buyer badge, and that I would need to upgrade to the Premium or Enterprise plan to qualify. What makes this especially disappointing is that these are real customer reviews, not fake or fabricated reviews. Changing the policy after merchants have been using the platform for years feels unfair, especially when an important feature that was previously available is now being tied to a much more expensive plan. After using Yotpo for more than a year, I’m very disappointed with this change and cannot recommend Yotpo to other merchants who rely on importing genuine customer reviews.

Easy to use, good moderation. Wish they had some intermediate plans between the '200 reviews requests' and the big custom plans. Seems like the selling reps only want to sell the big customer plans, and don't want to work with us little, but not tiny folks. I will say customer support is top notch, Ronal and Doner are prompt and took care of my questions/issues quickly.

This was a great app until recently. I encountered a bug and contacted support. The AI chat gave me a case number and assured me that a support agent would follow up within 4–6 hours. It's now been two days, and I've received absolutely no response or update on my issue. It's really disappointing because I was genuinely happy with the app and was even considering upgrading my plan. Unfortunately, this experience with customer support has made me rethink that decision.

Started with a free plan,realising that this app costs a fortune and my small business doesn’t need 1000 reviews a month. But there is no cheaper option than $129. My client made a mistake with her review and I wasn’t able to resend the email to her, plus she was not able from her end to go back with the same email and redo the review.This app behaves really scammy and I do not recommend it.

Yotpo has some of the fastest and clearest responses from a support team. In my experience, they are quick to reach and provide great support that is easy to follow. My recent support chat Doner P mirrored most of my interactions with the team. While there are some limitations with the dashboard and customization, overall Yotpo has been easy to work with and been a beneficial add to our company.

Used to be a great app but now I get almost no reviews and there are thousands being sent. Reached out to support and they were useless. I would definitely avoid. Explain how you go from getting several hundred reviews in a month consistently for years to 7 new reviews in a month. So frustrated I have to now setup a whole new app.

4.27.26 I have consistently given Yotpo a 1 star review. Recently I did so again. However, a Ralph B. from Yotpo contacted me and has greatly assisted me in getting all my issues resolved - hopefully on a long-term basis. He offered to implement the changes and when I declined and said I would implement them myself, he gave me very detailed instructions on how to do so. He timely and consistently responded to my questions. At this point, I have resolved all my known issues and am satisfied. I greatly appreciate his assistance so I have changed my rating. Assuming the widgets I am using work as intended, going forward, I will certainly be satisfied. I have at least 6 support cases open on YOTPO. I have a lot more than 6 issues but I'm being prevented from opening any other support cases. Why? Because 1. They have no support and 2. Nothing ever works the way it is supposed to or consistently. The reviews for top selling products have disappeared completely or the stars next to the product name do not show up at all even though the reviews show up below the product description. This is a REVIEW app and yet the very foundational features do not work or work inconsistently. How impressed should people be with this garbage? How long should I wait for support? I think if an app is expecting to be paid, it should respond to support requests in 24 hours. Yotpo responds weeks later, if at all. One would have to go to YOTPO university to actually fix all the things that is wrong with this app. It apparently expects customers to spend hours to fix these things with lousy and unclear directions. For over a year, there's a button on my main page that says I should click it to install a newer widget. I've attempted to install the newer widget at least 50 times with no result. This app is an absolute nightmare. No support. Nothing ever stays - constant updates that don't transfer. Yet they will contact you day after day trying to get you to upgrade. Why would anyone upgrade when the current version doesn't work? DO NOT CHOOSE THIS REVIEW APP. You will regret it. UPDATED 6 Months Later: If I could give YOTPO MINUS 100 Stars for customer service I would. There is no customer service. In fact, there seems to be a definite pattern here. You open a support request and they then close it so that SHOPIFY thinks it's been resolved when in fact, they have done absolutely nothing. Even if they commit to doing something, they don't follow through. You open another one and the same thing happens. It's absolutely unbelievable. This App should be immediately removed from SHOPIFY. And, Shopify should care a lot more about this than it appears they do. Store owners should not be subjected to this non-support. It's hard to even call it nonsupport since they actively work against everything you do which has a negative impact on your store and business. This needs to be investigated. 6 Months ago-I have now made 15 support requests with no help from this app. It should not be on Shopify. It needs to be removed. DO NOT use this app as you will have NOTHING but problems with no support whatsoever.

Based on our experience, we do not recommend Yotpo for businesses that need reliable support in high-stakes or legal situations. During a recent legal matter, we depended on Yotpo for documentation tied to their SMS platform. Here’s what we encountered: A formal letter provided by Yotpo included an incorrect phone number, which their team later confirmed was a template error. Our legal team required corrected documentation and supporting records (including metadata/logs) to meet court standards. Despite the urgency, there was prolonged back-and-forth on what could be provided and how. Critical records needed for admissible evidence (such as underlying logs tied to opt-in data) were not immediately delivered in a usable format for the case. The situation escalated to the point where legal pressure increased, including motions filed in court over missing or insufficient documentation. Our opinion: When everything is running smoothly, platforms can seem interchangeable. But when a serious issue arises, the level of support and accountability matters most. In our case, we did not feel adequately supported when it mattered most. If your business relies on SMS/email/reviews/loyalty platforms, make sure you fully understand what legal-grade data and support they can actually provide before committing. I DO NOT Recommend Yotpo. There were some hiccups on transferring/upgrading to the next tier with Yotpo but we were fortunate enough to have Doner P. from Yotpo Support help iron out the few problems we encountered. I have had a horrible experience dealing with keyla.galarza@yotpo.com. I was contacted on Cyber Monday stating that they want to speak to me about signing a new contract for about $7000. I forwarded them Okendo pricing at $299/ month which I had the rep at Okendo confirm was exactly what I needed. I was then told by Yotpo the $7000 per year price was for an account strategist. We never use an account strategist. We only ever log into manage reviews. I asked them to rebate me for the years we have been over paying and to adjust my monthly price to match Okendo $299 with UGC, and 3500 orders per month but he has since gone missing. I am asking to speak to a manager and no response. BE VERY CAREFUL. THEY GET YOU INTO A CONTRACT AND DON'T TELL YOU ABOUT THE BASIC PACKAGES for $329 they have on their own website which will save you thousands per year. We are a small business. They have been absolutely taking advantage of us for years.

As a large brand, we sadly cannot recommend any of the Yotpo's modules. The platform is extremely buggy, most of the features can't be accessed the majority of the time, switching between stores is a nightmare. One of their other modules also triggered an issue on our store that costed us hundreds of thousands of dollars and all we were offered is a one month's subscription discount. Yotpo's platform is behind, poorly maintained and technically unstable.

I was assisted by Ruzsel, and I really appreciate the support I received. I wanted to transfer reviews from our old account to a new one, and he patiently explained how remapping works. He clarified that reviews are tied to product IDs, so if a review is linked to the wrong or old product ID, it won’t automatically show up in the new account. The solution was to remap or reimport the reviews to the correct product ID so that they display properly under the right products. Ruzsel walked me through the process step by step and made sure I understood everything clearly. His explanation was very easy to follow, and he took the time to ensure there wouldn’t be any confusion moving forward. He is truly one of a kind, and thanks to his guidance, I feel confident and happy using Yotpo. The support experience made a big difference, and I’m very satisfied with the outcome.

The support agents are amazing. It can be hard to get to them at times but when yotpo recognizes where/what you are trying to do they generally push you to an agent if the ai cannot solve it by itself. I do recommend this service due to quality of product but more important the service. Vien Saints E was the last agent I had and they were great but I have a few others that are awesome as well so I wish I could remember their names to give them credit.

This app works great! But the best part about it is the support team! They are like having your own in-house tech resource - responsive within hours - sometimes they can resolve issues in chat in minutes. These days when everything seems to be either bot-automated or self-service, it's great to be able to get in touch with real people who care about their product and customers. I've installed and uninstalled alot of Shopify apps that just didn't work for us. But this one is a keeper!! I'd give you 6 stars if I could.

Everything would have been fine if I hadn't noticed the problems that managers have been unable to solve for a long time. In fact, the support work is at zero level: one says one thing, the other says another, and as a result, something completely different happens. Support may claim something is impossible without providing evidence, and then apologize when evidence to the contrary is presented. Technical support here isn't much help either; they can't even implement simple things. After contacting support, you receive a survey form to expedite problem resolution—essentially, it doesn't help at all; nobody responds. Essentially, what I have here are global issues affecting the revenue and reputation of my store; support doesn't solve anything on its own, they send an email and disappear for a week... Perhaps this review will expedite the resolution of my issues? For now, I'll leave it here.
